New major update available! v0.80
New major update is now available! Now you can build a three colonies on a different worlds at the same time. This version also has a sandbox mode. At this moment a Mars terraforming campaign is fully playable while the next update will add campaigns to Ceres and Ganymede together with a combat layer.
We highly recommend starting a new game when playing this new version! Old save files might work but due to a major gameplay overhaul using an old save game file can cause unpredictable behaviour.
GUI is completely redesigned to match the new style of gameplay. Also money is no longer used as a resource in game. Levelling system is also excluded from this version. New structures and units will become available once you provide a necessary construction materials.
Now some buildings are producing materials needed to construct other buildings, craft new items and build units. Specific materials are only available on some worlds. That means you will have to develop all three colonies at the same time to gather all the necessary materials.
Some materials can only be extracted in mines, therefore mining is becoming a very important aspect of the game. To conduct a mining operations first you must build a mining vehicle in the factory that will survey the map and place probes on the ore rich spots. Click on the probe to see a survey report and then place a mining facility close by.
To exchange materials between colonies you must build a landing pad to receive materials and a launch pad or maglev launcher to send materials.
A new units such as a flying repair drone will aid your astronauts in keeping your colony in good shape.
Many new features and gameplay changes are in this version so please expect a few bugs here and there. We are working hard to bring you a new update as soon as possible while we continue to implement community feedback into the game. Looking forward to hear your comments and suggestions regarding this new update. Thank you for playing!

Development news
Just a quick update regarding game development. We are very busy implementing a whole bunch of new improvements based on a recent community feedback. Including a new user interface skin and a flying maintenance drone that will aid engineers in repairing buildings. Most of our work right now is focused on a two new colonies: Ceres in a the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and Ganymede, Jupiter’s largest moon. Ceres will be a combat oriented campaign and will feature deployment of a defence system to repel ground and space attacks against a mining colony. Ganymede campaign will feature an exploration of the subsurface ocean. We are also working on a sandbox mode for all three maps.
In order to release a new update we have to finish both new maps. To work properly, a game mechanics now require managing all three worlds at the same time. We are working day and night to bring you a new update as soon as possible. Please stay tuned for a new development updates!
