¡Hola everyone!
We have some excellent news for you!
We are happy to announce that we've teamed up with X PLUS Games, the publisher behind the fantastic 3D platformer Super Sami Roll that was released last year!
This is super exciting for us as it'll help us get closer to the milestones we want to reach for Echolocaution, which can be a massive hurdle for a small team like us.
So what's the first milestone you ask?
Spanish has been added to the game!
While although Echolocaution is already available in Japanese and English, it was always our dream to reach a wider range of players.
We thought it would make sense as a first step towards that goal to add Spanish so that all you Spanish speakers out there can enjoy Echolocaution and all the lore in Spanish too, whether it's your native tongue or if you just want to practice some Español!

Additional Updates!
English has been brushed up by a native English speaker, correcting some issues and hopefully making the in-game text easier to follow
Along with the new Spanish addition, some UI changes have been made to accommodate the Spanish text
These are just a few of the changes/updates we plan on making but we'll be adding more content and sharing news with all of you whenever we have something new to share!
For all the Japanese players, we'll continue posting news and updates via our Twitter account. For all of you English speakers out there, X PLUS Games will be providing updates via primarily their official Twitter account so be sure to follow them as well so nothing gets missed!

Gimmicks have been added to some of the Spelunk Mode collections.
【Adjustment details】
Changed the conditions for Tengu, Yama & Kitty to come.
Tengu Changed the required number of collections from 12 to 10.
Yama & Kitty Changed the required number of collections from 12 to 8.
The collections were basically elements that were almost always filled up before you knew it as you played. However, the twelfth collection for each of Forest and Town had a slightly different way of obtaining it, and was positioned as a hidden collection. The requirement to collect all the collections was too much of a hurdle for people to play with the new characters, so we set the requirements lower than before to make it easier for people to play.
The overall record in the ranking screen can now be switched between Overall, Forest, and Town.
Adjusted the behavior of the "Stone Spikes" collection and the "Ringing of Sharp-Claws" collection when they appear.
Some graphics have been adjusted.

Two new types of achievements have been added.
Breath of fresh air! Tengu bat became a family.
Best combination! Yama & Kitty became a family.
【Adjustment details】
The release conditions for some achievements have been changed.
A box full of treasures! Proof of collecting the entire collection. Changed the number of required collections from 12 to 24.
Masterfully done! Proof of completion of all achievements. Changed the number of required achievements from 14 to 16.

About Translation Assistance
ECHOLOCAUTION is a work created by two Japanese people. We do not have much knowledge about English, so we use translation tools to deal with it.
Thankfully, we have received some advice about English from some volunteers. I think it has been quite easy to play even for English-speaking people. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again.
With this Ver. 2.00 update, we have added more modes, more quirky characters, more collections, and significantly more text than ever before. You may get the impression that the character's personality and the meaning of the words are different from the original intention.
We will try to improve the accuracy of the translation in the future, but in reality, it is a difficult task. If you like the game and the bats, and would like to give us some advice on translation, we are prepared to send you a summary of the in-game text data. Naturally, please be aware that this may contain spoilers.
