“Ed-0: Zombie Uprising” Patch Notes Version 0.4.3(May 14th, 2022)
Thank you for playing “Ed-0: Zombie Uprising” Early Access. We have started distributing the latest update patch to fix the following bugs and improve the stability of the gameplay. When this patch is applied, the version on the upper right of the title screen will be 0.4.3.
●Balance Adjustments: - Improved tutorial at the beginning of the game - Tutorial stage can be selected from the Hokusai Studio - Improved some “Help” descriptions - Decreased the rigidity time when just guarding - Modified so that enemies will not move immediately when an event occurs - Modified so that all attacks in ZEN Mode will be critical damaged - Removed some charms - Modified the effects of some charms - Visualized traps in certain quests - Modified the enhancements when the secret arts are to be strengthened - Modified so that right trigger (left click) can be used to throw the currently selected item while in aiming mode - Modified so that key configuration cannot be selected from the “Option” menu in the title screen - Modified so that almost always there will be a different color Torii Gates at each level - Modified the backward step of the Samurai when he is attacking - Modified some of the Samurai's Secret Arts ("Finisher" "Reed Split" "DO-GE-ZA") - Adjusted the overall combat balance - Adjusted the overall quest difficulty - Adjusted the overall text notation
●Additional Elements: - Added "HARD" and "HELL" difficulty levels to main quests 1-3 - Added a function to the system menu to force an escape when stuck in terrain - Added a new key finding event to open up the Torii Gate - Added a new function to directly use items at the feet by long-pressing the button
●Bug Fixing: - Fixed a bug where Virtue could not be poured into the Sacred Tree - Fixed a bug where Torii Gates may not appear on the floor - Fixed a bug where an assassination command would be issued to an opponent who could not be assassinated - Fixed a bug that prevented assassination of paralyzed enemies - Fixed bugs around key configurations

●Bug Fixing: ・Fixed a bug where the Money/Virtue in the upper right hand corner of the HUD did not count up properly when playing the game over 110 FPS. ・Fixed an issue where skill panel button displays were reversed. ・Fixed an issue where Torii Gate were not always placed on the floor. ・Fixed an issue where intoxication could occur even during the floor event "You feel less likely to get drunk". ・Fixed a bug where "Spicy Rice Ball" not exploding when thrown. ・Fixed an issue where abnormality resistance was also affecting abnormality accumulation value reduction. ・Fixed an issue where items could be purchased even when the number of items in possession was maxed out. ・Fixed a bug where items were automatically used when they were taken out from the wicker box. ・Fixed a bug that caused the remaining stacked items to disappear when stacked items were used from within the wicker box. ・Fixed an issue of multiple items on the ground. ・Fixed a bug in which the dedication screen of the Manual of Secret Arts was not compatible with mouse operation. ・Fixed a bug that prevented keyboard and mouse operation in the Hokusai Studio. ・Fixed a bug which the sub-quest "On An Empty Stomach" wasn’t working properly. ・Corrected an incorrect description of the value that is a condition for the blessing "Lightning Speed" in the blessing menu of the Sacred Tree. ・Fixed an issue where Fallen Samurai guarding while paralyzed. ・Fixed a bug where objects on the floor blocked the entrance and made it impossible to pass through. ・Fixed an issue where volume changes were not being applied to background music during quests. ・Fixed a bug in which the Vitality of stage 3 boss was not reflected correctly. ・Fixed to be able to control the mouse in the Sacred Tree Blessing screen. ・Fixed an issue where the camera would roll into the ground when your character went down. ・Corrected a translation error in the Sacred Tree Blessing screen.
●Balance Adjustments: ・Adjusted the number of bombs from trapped treasure chests from 20 to 10. ・Adjusted effects caused by the "Instant Karma Charm" and others. ・Corrected key assignments for moving item slots in the lower left corner of the HUD to Z and V. ・Balanced the calculation of the "Frenzy Charm". ・Modified to show mouse cursor in options when departing from “Kuku Village”. ・Decreased the speed of the Giant crawling state. ・Added “Iron Skin” to the strong attack of Samurai. ・Tweaked the enemy strength in the early levels of Stage 1. ・Modified to not reset the amount of money in one's possession when departing on a quest. ・Adjustment to make surrounding zombies flinch when you guard with perfect timing. ・Adjusted hunger speed slightly slower. ・Adjusted to increase Fullness when eating the Sacred Tree Nut. ・Adjusted the number of traps placed in some stages. ・Adjusted the sound volume control for storytelling scenes. ・Modified so that the item "Homecoming Talisman" does not appear un-appraised. ・Modified so that the cool time is not consumed when a secret art is stopped from enemy attacks. ・Reduced the gap in the normal attack of the Samurai. ・Strengthened the Samurai and Sumo Wrestler’s jump strong attacks. ・Adjusted damage intervals for steam gimmicks in the "Kahouin Temple" stage.
●Additional Elements: ・Added new item “Vision Herbs”. ・Added a caution note to the effect that save data will be overwritten when NEW GAME is being selected.
●Exception Operation: ・When you hold the Samurai’s strong attack to the maximum and press the strong attack button again at the right moment immediately after it hits the enemies, a follow-up thrust will be made. ・When the Samurai jumps on the spot 10 times in front of the Azumaya Pavilion in Kuku Village, he can switch with the Sumo Wrestler. If you want to switch back, do the same thing again, this time with the Sumo Wrestler.

"Ed-0: Zombie Uprising" arrives in early access on April 4, 2022! Slaughter the Dead, Face the Unpredictable. A rogue-like action where traditional Japanese characters destroy hordes of zombies. Since everything is randomly generated each time you play, no run will be the same. This game will integrate community feedback to improve, optimize, and build a complete launch with frequent updates throughout the early access period.
