We are full of pride and admiration for the service of volunteers, farmers, firefighters, soldiers, police officers, and disaster services who are working day and night in the flooded areas and who are sacrificially working under the most adverse circumstances for the people in need.
We do our part!
Together with our studios Massive Miniteam (Spitlings), Paintbucket Games (Through The Darkest Of Times) and Honig Studios (El Hijo - A Wild West Tale), we started a Steam event - German Flood Relief - where 20% of every purchase will be donated to Aktion Deutschland Hilft.

+ Several bugfixes in NPC behaviours when catching El Hijo or reacting to his toys.

+ Minor level-specific bugfixes of lights and textures.

El Hijo - A Wild West Tale Wins Award at DCP 2021!
Precisely because of its setting and accessibility, as well as the unique atmosphere and emotional story, the game is equally enjoyable for younger players and adults alike. The jury has been convinced by the exciting Wild West adventure which families can experience collectively.
The spaghetti-western stealth game has already been named Best Indie-Title by the gamescom-Award in 2019.
Patch 1.0.1 released
We released a small patch to address some minor quirks of the game like collision and controls issues and other small glitches.

El Hijo - A Wild West Tale is a non-violent game and an engaging story of an adventurous child looking for his mother. The child sneaks past different sorts of suspicious outlaws in a series of diverse western settings.
Instead of violence, the child's imaginative playfulness is used with the help of his toys, which serve to distract his "opponents".
Using the shadows to his advantage is a core element of the game, as the young hero will often have to hide. Various twists on familiar mechanics are often a product of the challenging and increasingly dangerous environments that the 6-year-old must traverse to reach his ultimate goal.

What would you do as 6-year-old kid, who must flee from violent outlaws in the Wild West? Violence is not an option! So you hide in the shadows, sneak around, and inspire other children on your way to freedom.

Equipped with a slingshot, stones, and tricky toys, used to distract and disarm enemies you will make your way through dark monastery corners, parched deserts, and lawless boomtowns while you discover a world full of suspicious monks, dangerous bandits, and mischievous desperadoes.
Shoot small rocks at lamps, create noisy distractions using fireworks or toy soldiers, and more to outsmart different types of opponents, and stay in the shadows on your quest to liberate yourself and other children from the chains of an evil syndicate and reunite with your mother.
