Elea is leaving Early Access on September 6th + New Trailer!

Good news today, v1.0 will come out on September 6th for Steam AND Xbox One!

Patch v0.9 is now live!
Hey everyone!
It's Marten here! We just published update v0.9 and we added a whole new story intro to the game! Jump in and check it out. Of course there's other things in this patch as well, read the full list here:
Added completely new story overview at the beginning of the game
Optimization of the level loading system
Optimization of the save & load system
Update of some meshes and textures
New game intro
Audio improvements
Localization fixes and updates
Scripting updates & changes (for example, the player can skip the logos at the
beginning of the game, enable the subtitles during the gameplay)
Small bug-fixes
Some visual updates (for example, there is a time & location text at the beginning of each chapter, loading icon when bigger sub-level is loading during gameplay)
Improved puzzle hints in the server core

Another patch is coming up!
Hey all!
We’ve been a bit quiet lately, because we’ve been working hard on preparing the Xbox One version of Elea.
But now we have an update to share: another patch is coming up! Patch 0.9 will release on the 10th of August.
For this patch, we focused on making the narrative more understandable by adding context to the story at the start of the game, and adding times and locations to different scenes.
Besides that, we worked on polishing the audio, visuals, texts, systems and more.
Keep an eye on us for more news, because we’ll soon have a release date to share with you!

Patch v0.8 is live now! Sound updates + Memory Optimization
Hey all!
Today there's another update, it's time for v0.8!
Huge audio update - Elea now features full 5.1 surround support (you need a 5.1 surround system to experience this) and better mastering for the sound mix (stereo and 5.1)
Audio is streamed instead of cached in the memory all the time. This optimizes memory
Fixed a bug where saves made at the beginning of the Broken Mindscape level would dissapear
Fixed the bug where the Oculus & Vive app would open when starting the game
Now you can run/sprint in every Recovery chapter floors (there's an exception when there's a controlled situation like conversations/cutscenes)
You can run longer compared to v0.7. Your sprint will recharge once you move slower, so in practice, you can run almost all the time
Some visual changes/updates (for example, the final scene has a new visual facelift)
Some scripting updates/changes
Smaller input icons
Localization fixes and updates
Over 20 small bug-fixes

Patch v0.7 is live! Biggest patch since Early Access launch
Hello everyone!
Today is the day, patch v0.7 is live! The biggest patch since the Early Access launch. Now, onto the good stuff! You can find the full patch notes right here:
Fixed the bug when Oculus app is opening when starting the game
Unlocked FPS option now supports 120 fps
New auto-save checkpoints are implemented in the Recovery chapter
Additional and improved objective hints
Completely new how to play help screen is available in the settings menu and at the start of the game
Various performance updates in regards to the streaming system in the game
New voice over for some characters
Better screen space reflections (SSR) when effects in the settings menu are on ULTRA. The higher version of SSR can decrease your performances with up to 10FPS. Effects settings on HIGH in the new 0.7 build are comparable in quality to Ultra in the older builds.
New voice lines for Elea - some of them can potentially help with the game progression
Fixed the bug in which Elea can stuck in the first room in the house chapter
Faster animations for the interaction icons in the game
Improved and completely new scenes in the game
Updated localization
Fixed the bug when after you finish the Mars level, two Alice's at the same time appeared
Opportunity for infinite running in Mars chapter
Increased sprint duration before having to recover in the Recovery chapter
New and updated sound fx
Over 100 small bug-fixes and updates
Fixed the bug for zooming with the mouse right button in the House chapter

Important save game announcement
Hi all!
Just a quick announcement about your saved files. We've got the next patch ready to go, but due to migrating the game to Unreal Engine 4.19 and Xbox certification, we had to make edits to the save system in the game.
In the end, this means that saves made in the current version of the game will not work anymore once the update hits. Don't be afraid, though! We're going to give you an option to finish your game in the old version and also be able to play the game in the new version.

Big patch incoming!
Hey all!
Just a quick update to let you know we've been working on a huge update for the past month! I'm sorry we broke the cycle of regular updates for a while, but we've been focussing on bigger stuff now.
We migrated Elea from Unreal Engine 4.18 to 4.19, made preperations for the launch on Xbox One and implemented tons of fixes and new features!
Here's a small sneak peak on some things that are going to be in the next patch:
Over 100 small bug-fixes and updates
Unlocked FPS option now supports 120 fps

Here we are again, and we're back with a very big update! Check out what's new:
33% faster-moving speed of the main character Elea is implemented in the "A life full of promises" chapter. The movement speed is only increased when not in conversation
A new hint system is introduced, giving the player more detailed objective information by pressing 'i' or left on the D-pad
The player can run in some parts of Recovery chapter (Shift/Left Bumper)
Most important objects in the game are highlighted
Over a 50 small fixes and improvements, including (but not limited to) small gameplay changes and tweaks in some situations, some grammar mistakes, and streaming optimizations.

Fixed a bug where mouse controls would stop working mid-game
Fixed a bug where players would only see one note on in-game computers/tablets when playing with subtitles turned off
Fixed the accidental enabling of the AR memory from Deck 3 bug
Test running (faster moving) is implemented in the AR memory
Over a 20 small fixes and improvements, including (but not limited to) small gameplay changes and tweaks in some situations and timing of the final credits
