In the last devlog, we briefly mentioned the new DLC we are working on. Today, we want to talk a little bit about the expansion and why we came up with the idea of making one.
Our inspiration
There is no denying that you - the loyal fans of Electrician Simulator - and more specifically the votes you cast in our survey, have contributed to the creation of this DLC. We were pleasantly surprised by such a huge response and are very grateful for your help. In addition, we are fans of smart devices ourselves and we are using such devices daily whatever we are! Whether it's the office or home, gadgets like smart speakers, wireless bulbs, or wi-fi cameras are tools that make our lives easier on every occasion. We felt that our familiarity with those devices and the idea of wireless connections will be a solid foundation for such DLC.
Smart Devices - what exactly is it?
DLC will bring a new, but well-known to everyone - wireless network. That connection will allow a completely new approach to electrical design and open up new avenues when troubleshooting customer problems. Of course, the changes will also bring even more missions, repair gadgets and mechanics that even the most experienced electrician could not have dreamed of!

How to unlock a new mode?
Many of you have asked us how to unlock Endless Mode. To get the new features you must complete all 4 training certificates of the story campaign. You can access the new third tab on your laptop only after completing them.

We have been working on an expansion of our production for some time. In it, you will find, new devices for repair, interesting missions, and a whole bunch of new tasks.
The missions in the DLC will take you to completely unknown places and allow you to visit and redesign electrical systems in homes you already know!

Meet the Endless Mode
Dear Electricians,
The day has finally arrived - in front of you Endless Mode! Endless tasks, new features and even more challenges. Many of you have been asking us to extend the gameplay time, so this update is especially for you!
Endless Mode in a Nutshell
From now on, the game will feature infinite procedurally generated repair missions and client house tasks. Random items will appear on the workbench - each with a different defect, and houses will have an even more diverse layout!
The new layout of devices and apartments will make the game surprise you at every turn.
Unlock Pass and new rewards
The Unlock Pass will allow you to run the gameplay at your own tempo. Repair broken equipment, go on missions and gain experience to unlock various interesting rewards and tasks. New challenges and customers with various problems are already waiting for you - the best electricians!
Smart Devices DLC
Endless Mode does not mean the end of work on Electrician Simulator. We are just working on Smart Devices DLC - a paid DLC that will introduce new items, interesting tasks, and unique mechanics that will allow you to discover a completely different side in the work of an electrician!

Working on Endless Mode - Part 4
Dear Electricians,
In today's devlog, we're taking another look at the upcoming Endless Mode. At the very end, we've saved some more interesting information for you about the new update, which will be released on the 4th of April!
Why the Endless Mode?
After the release, the completion time of our game was not enough for a large number of you. We carefully analyzed all the reviews and messages we received and took it as a point of honor to release the update you mostly asked for. We hope to meet your expectations!
With the Endless Mode and Unlock Pass, everyone will be able to enjoy the game as much as their heart desires!
What was our inspiration for the new mode?
We have been inspired by the roguelike genre in which each campaign we start looks different, but is closed within the framework of objectives and mechanics. We can have to deal with customers problems instead of fighting enemies treat the houses or items on the workbench as a "dungeon"
What about the DLC for Electrician Simulator?
For sure you remember our questionnaire. We've collected feedback on the DLC, as we were very keen for the expansion to be created based on your requests.
We are happy to announce that work on the DLC has already started some time ago and we are working on the add-on. We will let you know soon but that will be after the release of Endless Mode!

Working on Endless Mode - Part 3
Dear Electricians,
In the last devlog we write about working on the workshop in Endless Mode. We are glad that you enjoyed the story of our work and struggles. In today's devlog, we would like to tell you more about new features!
What is an "Unlock Pass"?
The inspiration for our new feature was all sorts of season passes that we can find in multiplayer games. Such a solution usually motivates the player to discover new things, so we decided to implement this form in our Electrician Simulator.
The Unlock Pass will be free and will not have a time limit, so each of you will be able to unlock more levels and earn rewards at a pace that suits you!
Different types of missions in client homes
The new mode will develop its difficulty level over time. At the very beginning, you will get slightly simpler tasks that will allow you to get acquainted with the new type of gameplay. Once you're familiar with the new form, there will be bigger locations, more complicated repairs in the workshop, and much more!
By using this approach, we know that Endless Mode will challenge you at every step!
Challenges and modifiers
An additional variety of gameplay are modifiers - thanks to them, seemingly similar missions can put a completely different challenge to the player. For example, there may be restrictions on the length of a single cable, time, and much more...
We won't tell you everything, the rest you will discover on your way through the game!

Working on Endless Mode - Part 2
Dear Electricians,
In latest devlog we talked about the work on Endless Mode. We are very happy to see such a positive response to our story. We decided to tell you a little more about the changes to the workbench itself.
Workbench - our biggest problems
Endless Mode seems tailor-made for the workbench. Randomly broken components and parts of items fit perfectly into the gameplay of this type.
However, in addition to the undoubted advantages of the whole solution, there were also problems that we had to overcome. One of the problems encountered was that we had to adapt each part of the device to break down randomly and fully function after repair.
Now we are not the ones who dictate what players get in the workshop, the fault can occur anywhere!
The most important thing in the new mode
In the course of our work, we encountered many problems and hard choices, which ultimately led us to the moment we are in now.
A lot of factors are certainly needed to create a good Endless Mode in the game, from programming new malfunctions to preparing new item layouts, to preparing the randomization system. However, in our opinion, one of the most important element is gameplay balance.
The second life of Electrician Simulator
Random items, orders, broken components, and new variants of items all combine to create an amazing effect that gives our production a second life.

Endless update status
Dear Electricians,
In Valentine's Day devlog we promised to tell you about Endless Mode. We would like to tell you about this new mode and what challenges we overcame while designing new locations and mechanics.
Endless Mode
Just as the name suggests - we would like the entertainment in this mode to be able to last forever! We are creating this mode directly for players who have been missing more electrical puzzles, laying cables, assembling items, and solving problems reported by customers.
Endless Mode will be a free update, that will introduce procedurally generated missions, houses, and item defects for repair. We have spent many hours designing and testing new things. There are still a few challenges ahead, but we already know that the new mode will bring you a lot of fun!
House design
Designing homes for Endless Mode was quite a challenge for us. You will probably ask yourself why? Because every part of the house has to be a part that is modifiable and able to be put together. A bit like playing with Lego. Especially for you we have prepared one of the designs of such houses:.
In addition, each location consists of several rooms, and each room can also receive its unique design. This is another variable that will make each cottage unique!

We have prepared for you another update that fixes the bugs you reported in Valentine's Day update!

Fixed bugs:
Corrected the translation in Portuguese for the Hanging Heart lamp.
Fixed translations in Polish for the required level to unlock an item in the store.
Fixed the display of items in the inventory UI for languages in which the item name overlapped its description.
Fixed main menu version from winter to summer.
Fixed a bug in the mission "My father is snowman" that prevented its completion.
