Electrician Simulator

Let there be light!

Dear Electricians,

Currently, hardly anyone can imagine life without electricity, which can be found in virtually every home. The condition for its operation is generally an efficient installation and a paid electricity bill. Thanks to it, we can have our own light sources, all you need is a working socket, lamp, and a switch.

In Electrician Simulator, in addition to the simple task of replacing the bulb, you can install lamps and choose the right installations or accessories for them. Help your customers so that they do not have to sit in the dark by the candle, give them light!

For all comers, we have prepared a competition related to light!

Prepare for us a design of the lamp, which we will be able to introduce into the game, it can be a model, drawing, or graphics. Visualize the appearance of this lamp plus you can describe to us how it should work.

The rules are simple:

  • Please publish your submissions on our Community Hub theard from your Steam account or on our contest dedicated Discord channel..
  • You have time until October 3 to do so.
  • The results of the competition will be announced by 10 October.
  • The winning design will be selected by the developers and added to the game after the results are announced.

See you!

How not to get electrocuted?

Dear Electricians,

Games and reality are two different worlds. Especially when it comes to issues carried out incorrectly, it can seriously harm us. Remember that our game is a simulator that simplifies certain mechanics and you should not repeat the activities of the game at home. Remember that in the real world, it is not possible to load a previous save and go back in time.

Let's start with what is most important: how it looks in our world. It has been known for a long time that electricity can seriously harm us, so we should always be careful even when replacing a light bulb.

In Electrician Simulator, the worst thing that can happen to you is not to execute the order correctly. If your installation does not work, you can always undo the save. Same with the assembly of things, the game will show where you should not mount a given element. And by far the most important difference - if your character is electrocuted, you will not feel it on your own.

Remember that with electricity there is no fun and if there is a problem that you can not solve, then call the Electrician! ;)

See you!

Electrician equipment and supply

Dear Electricians,

Every electrician needs tools for his work.
Can you guess which ones? If you don't know, we're about to enlighten you!

For starters, you need to sit down at your laptop. There you will find your e-mail and an online store. On your mailing box, you will find contracts, choose those that will interest you the most. Then you need to complete the appropriate tools and materials.

In the store, you will find a lot of useful things, such as tools and materials necessary for work, which will serve you to complete the order. Be sure to prepare well for work, and do not miss anything. If rummaging around the store is a waste of time for you, you can choose a faster option. All you have to do is find your order, then by clicking on the "suggested items" window you can easily buy everything you need.

After proper preparation, you can move to the place of the contract. Can't use tools and materials? Never mind! If you don't know where to mount a thing, don't be afraid! Unlike reality, the game will guide you step by step so that you can do your job as an electrician well. There are facilities available in the game, for example, in a place of your choice during the installation of e.g. a cable, a red outline will appear indicating the unpossibility of attachment in this place.

Remember the electrician is not such a terrible devil as they paint him. If you prepare well, no job will be terrible. So, don't wait, get in the car and go to work!

See you!

The most electrifying premiere this autumn!

Dear Electricans!

Release of the Electrician Simulator is September 22nd!

By creating Electrician Simulator, we wanted to redefine the simulator genre. Prove that these games do not have to be boring and repetitive, and can attract with interesting tasks and a crazy world. We listened hard to the players' comments, corrected the inconsistencies found in the prologue version and added a whole bunch of new items and locations.

We collected your feedback from the First Shock which we very much appreciated, thank you! By the way we wanted to answer the most popular questions in our community:

1. Will this game be genderless? Can you pick who you would like to play?
We are writing the story elements right now and we’ve heard the players’ feedback. As much as we respect the LGBTQ+ Community, we are unable to incorporate all non-binary options due to limited time before the premiere. This is why we’ve made a decision to use gender-neutral dialogue options.

2. Will there be more electric systems in the game, not only in Europe? US/Asia standards? A menu where the player can select what region, and then use that to show different color schemes, wires types and electric panel?
We have decided to place the whole game in a fictional town in order to be able to explain the differences from the real world. We’ve heard all your feedback and we are currently planning post-release support for the game. Depending on its success, we might be able to introduce DLCs with extra standards.

3. Would it be possible to implement panel wiring such as motor starter panels (Star/Delta, cap-start/cap-run, DOL starters and sequence starters) this platform could be used for more than just fun, it could be used to educate electrician apprentices or people wanting to get into the electrical field?
As much as we would love to expand features and introduce as many appliances and panels as possible, we are not experts in electricity, education nor providing educational software. It is something to look at in the future, depending on the game’s success.

4. Will there be VR?
Not at the moment, however it depends on the game’s commercial success.

5. Is this game gonna be accurate in terms of appliances?
We are trying to introduce as many original appliances in the game as possible, including workbench items and job-related materials. Please keep in mind that this is a game and it’s supposed to be fun - some appliances may differ for gamification reasons (if an appliance is very interesting but complicated, we reduce it a bit so it doesn’t become an issue to complete a task in-game).

6. Will the game support ultrawide monitors?
We are testing available solutions at the moment but are unable to confirm this feature at the moment.

7. Will ES have steam cards and achievements?
Yes.

8. Why does the garage look similar to Phasmophobia?
Because the same asset pack was used for the Prologue. A new garage was created for the full version of the game. The Prologue was a technological demo allowing us to check our ideas against our audience and make decisions that will benefit players. We were focused on mechanics and the joys of gameplay, as well as introducing story elements in a simulator. The garage was effectively a placeholder. And we like Phasmaphobia.

9. Will there be multiplayer?
No.

10. Why is it called a simulator if it is not realistic?
The game is as realistic as it is possible from our perspective. Unfortunately, it is not easy to move all the real-world mechanics into games. Many games with the word “simulator” in their title are not realistic at all. The majority of principles are based on how things work in the real world, many have been changed slightly to simply make the game a game, and to provide a joyful gameplay along with a pleasant experience.

11. What sort of missions will we have that we haven't seen in a demo?
That’s a secret - you need to purchase the game to find out or await official media communications around the release date. We are almost certain that our original approach to this topic shall make everyone happy with the solution to this problem.

12. Will there be proper wire colours in full game as in real life every color has its meaning?
Cable color-coding is specific for different countries and regions, so it is very difficult to provide players from all around the globe gameplay representative for their region. This is why we’ve made a decision to place the whole story in a fictional country in a fictional town with its own standards and coding.

13. Can you delete the timer in the final game or give the option in the menu to turn it off?
The timer has been introduced for the players that enjoy a time-related challenge or speedruns. It does not introduce any bonuses nor penalties, it is there so that players can check themselves against the timer.

Devlog #9 - We have a connection

Hello there!

After the warmly received "Electrician Simulator - First Shock", we are back to work on the full version of the game! Many things are happening in the project, and we are ready to show you the first new feature.

As you may remember from the prologue version, you could connect some electrical devices to outlets and... they just worked! Some of you didn't like our stiff cables. We hear you, so we've added physics.

Now you can grab pretty every cable you see and play with it! Then plug it into the outlet and get that electricity flowing! But what if you can find only one outlet and you need to have more devices connected? That sounds like a problem.

Well, not for us! You can use our newly created extension cord! Just plug those little fellas into their big brother and see how it works. But if you like to connect one extension cord to another? Well, you will have to test it on your own after the game releases (but it will not disappoint you).

We don't just pretend that our electricity system works. It really works. So if you connect a few devices to our extension cord and you want to turn them off, you can just press the magic button on the cord. It's really that simple!

We also work on new workbench items, we add a placement system for light switches, lamps, and electrical devices, but we also let you change some bulbs, which you always really wanted!

Let us know what else you would like to see in our devlogs. We will try to update you a little bit more often.

Finally, we would like to share a information about upcoming game from our friends - Bakery Simulator! If you are into baking pastries check it out! The premiere will be on the 3rd of May, 18:00 CEST / 9:00 AM PDT, let's show for our friends some support!
