We haven't posted an update for a while, so we are going to do our best to get caught up. We have been keeping our Kickstarter up to date and want to keep everyone of Steam up to date as well.
This was some of our July update for Kickstarter. We will continue to post the other updates and get Steam all caught up asap.
Squirrel and Rabbit NPC - We have got some new textures for the Squirrel and Rabbit NPCs. They will be in the Air, Ice, Light, and Nature biome. Not all creatures will be in each biome. If you see a creature or NPC type that you have already seen in another biome, their behavior and characteristics will be different. Every creature in Elemythia needs and wants something different, it's up to you to help them find that on your journey.
Fox NPC - We just finished the Fox NPC. Originally, we had planned on a more "cute" fox. But we settled on the Fox being more of a "Warrior". Not every character in this story will be sweet and innocent. Each NPC race will have their own characteristics and motivations. Some will get along with others and some will not.
Level Design - We have been working on the level design for some of the environments and villages in the Light, Fire, and Nature biomes. For most biomes there will be 3 major villages or towns with multiple smaller villages throughout the biome.
Squirrel Village - Some work in progress of the Squirrel Village in the Nature Biome.
Light Village - This village is abandoned. It's up to you to find out why and help the villagers return home. Once you do this will unlock new quests, vendors and merchants you can interact with.
Mayan Village - This Mayan inspired village is still very much a work in progress. We are happy with the layout, but still need to add many things to bring this area to life. We also need an NPC type here. Some suggestions we had so far were; Red Pandas, Gorillas, and Lizards. Let us know if you have any suggestions!
Light Armor - The Rare version of the Light armor is almost finished. It has some Egyptian and Roman inspirations.

Elements - June Development Update
Hey! We just posted a new update on Kickstarter, so we thought we would let you know what we have been working on too!
UE5 First off, we switched to UE5! This was a big decision. It took a couple weeks, but we have already seen huge improvements in development speed just by using Level Instancing, Nanite, and World Partition.
Katana - We added Katanas. Right now we just have one stance, but we are looking at the possibility of having multiple stances for some weapons.
Custom Orcs - Our Custom Orc models are done. We are super happy with how they turned out. The rigging is being worked on right now. Can't wait to start giving them personality with sounds and animations.
Fire Armor - We finished the first rarity of the Fire Armor. I think this is going to be one of my favorite sets. I love all of the little details in this set. And this is the Rare version!
Fire Guardian - We have had some progress on the modeling of the Fire Guardian. We are super happy with how it is turning out. This boss will guard the Fire Stone and ensure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
Water Weapons - We started working on some weapons for the Water Biome. We took some Polynesian and Atlantean influences and came up with a unique aesthetic.
Mythical Pets - We now have our first Mythical Pet. We think he is pretty cute. We will be rigging and animating him soon. And he still needs a name :)
Language - Elements now has its own language. I didn't realize how complicated making a language was but we connected with a professional. We will share more about the language later, but for now here are the number symbols.

Kickstarter Fully Funded!
Hey everyone!
I noticed we had some Kickstarter Backers show up from Steam so I thought I would post an update. We launched a Kickstarter on Jan. 31st and were funded in under 12 hours. As of the time of writing we are now we are sitting at 665% funded and 2,450 backers!
We are amazed at the positive response. And just like the playtests at PAX, it tells us we are on the right track and that we are building something people are excited about.
There will be a closed Alpha for Backers around September 2023. Then we aim to have a public demo available before launching into Early Access in Q2 of 2024.
We are so excited to get Elements into everyone's hands. Thank you so much for supporting the game by simply wishlisting and spreading the word.
PAX West and New Interview with New Overlords!
It's been a while since PAX West 2022, but I wanted to share what a great time we had. It's so amazing to have people play and be excited about the game.
While at PAX West I met Jeff from New Overlords. I sat down with Jeff and Sema and had an amazing chat. We talk about the game and gaming in general. Was a delight to chat with them and I was humbled at the opportunity.
I am so proud and humbled to announce that Elements has received an Epic MegaGrant from Epic Games and Unreal Engine. This all started with a dream and somehow is becoming a reality. It’s amazing to see that Epic has seen enough promise in Elements to support it. I want to thank everyone who has wishlisted, it truly helps. I can’t wait to get this game in your hands.

We have decided it would be a good idea to do a Kickstarter. This will give players a chance to pre-purchase the game and help with development. Click Here to pre-sign up. It really helps and is super appreciated. No pressure, obviously :)
Right now we have a small team of community members helping with Elements, and I would like to pay them for their efforts. Kickstarter will also give a chance for players to become more involved with the game's development.
It is important to me that a Kickstarter does not take time from development, so the rewards will probably most, if not all be digital. If you have any thoughts on rewards please let me know.

It was amazing to be at PAX West and have people actually play the game. It reminded me of why I am doing this. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, but I am enjoying every part.
