Our schedule for release of the updated versioning to 4.0 for Horizons and Odyssey is planned for tomorrow.

Update 13 Post Release Recap: As many of you are very much aware, Update 13 arrived last week on August 9th. Full review of the update notes which accompanied this release can be found here.
On Friday we released a small supplement update to address a small number of issues, particularly around some unexpected behaviour with fines and bounties applying from erroneously active fire zones. More on this can be recapped here.
As with any aftermath (no pun intended but I’ll use the term anyway) of updates and the wonderful stir of conversation they bring, we are still farming feedback and relaying discussions around remaining, highly talked about issues with the development team to ensure we can provide accurate responses regarding their acknowledgement and progress. We will be with you as soon as we can o7
In the coming week's we plan to offer the option for PC players to launch the game on the 4.0 codebase to try it out. Odyssey will still be an optional upgrade and necessary for on-foot content.
Players will still need to have the same version (Horizons or Odyssey) to instance together in game.
We appreciate there are still a number of questions around this subject matter for us to elaborate on and will answer as many as we can in due course.
To continue reading, head over to the full post on the Official Elite Dangerous News Page, HERE.

Elite Dangerous | Post Update 13 Fixes
Greetings Commanders!
Following feedback collection and bug reports since the launch of Update 13, we're making the following changes which should already be live in game:
Version 3.8 - Horizons Only
Due to the Fire Zones of the Overlook and the Oath of Tyndareus still being erroneously active, as well as the Heart of Taurus and Bright Sentinel still having online Landing Pads the following has been changed:
All "Reckless Weapon Discharge", "Assault" and any violation of a Fire Zone will trigger the standard responses from the Overlook and the Oath of Tyndareus. However they will not apply a Permanent Fine or a Bounty.
Pad Loitering at the Heart of Taurus and the Bright Sentinel is the same. They will respond as normal but the long term fines or Bounties will not be applied. These changes only apply to those locations, Fines and Bounties will be applied normally when committing any other kind of crime, or committing those specific crimes at other locations in HIP 22460
Version 4.0 - Odyssey Only
Players with bounties worth multiple billions of credits will be able to log in again
Thargoids enjoyed playing CQC but have had their fill and will return to the main game mode
As always, thanks for your feedback!
