Instructions:
Screenshots you've taken within a game using the Steam screenshot key can be uploaded using the screenshot uploader tool. By default this button is bound to "F12", and can be edited within the Steam settings.
Open the Steam client and click on "View" and then "Screenshots" at the top to access the screenshot uploader.
Once the screenshot uploader is open, you select the game, find the screenshot and hit upload after adding a caption!
Tips:
Here are some useful controls to make the best screenshots!
- Hide your name in the UI settings!
- Hide UI by pressing both “CTRL” and “-” (on the numpad!)

ELYON | Pre-launch Streams
The official launch of the game is nearly here, with headstart not even a day away! Of course, this demands a worthy celebration, which is why we will be streaming every day from Sunday, October 17 until Thursday, October 21 on Twitch and Steam!
In the coming days, we have a lot in store for you: we will dive together into the world of Elyon, have invited guests to join our journey, and Elyon Night Live is making its comeback as well! Naturally, there's more, but we would not want to spoil the fun just yet.

Elyon will Now be Free to Play
One such change is transitioning Elyon to a Free to Play model.
Which means a delay…
And we must get to work adjusting that model and some backend systems. Thus, we will push the release of Elyon to October 20th. We’ll also make good use of this time to work on some quality of life changes to the game based on the feedback we received during our Closed Beta Tests, including bugs identified with the launcher, various systems we intend to streamline, as well as other polishes and overall experience improvements.
What about those of us who already pre-ordered?
The game access in the base package will be replaced with 2,000 Rubies, Elyon’s paid in-game currency. Of course, anyone who made a purchase prior to this announcement will be able to request a refund. If after the upcoming changes to Elyon you are unhappy with your purchase you can apply for a refund through the Steam store and your request will be processed as quickly as possible.
So, how will the packs work now?
Since the vast majority of the value of the packages came from the additional items that were included, not much has actually been changed. The game access has been replaced with the 2,000 rubies of in-game currency, but all other benefits remain untouched and will remain available.
This also means that we need to temporarily make purchases of the packages unavailable starting as of this announcement. We plan to re-open the website store on September 28th. It’s likely that Steam will follow a different schedule.
[Update:] The Wayfarer Package will grant you the same 72 hour Headstart as it replaces the old Base Game.
Now that it’s Free To Play, does that mean you will be altering the cash shop?
That is not our intent. We also wish to note that our vision for the cash shop contained within Elyon has not changed. We hope this shift will bring in more players to build a healthier community for Elyon.
What about the Headstart?
The idea behind the tiered headstart was to introduce players to the game in waves rather than have an overly crowded launch. However, after listening to feedback from the community we’ve decided to give everyone the full 72-hour headstart as long as they make any purchase prior to release. Again, since we’re making changes to the products we advertised, we’ll be giving additional Rubies as compensation to those who already made their purchase prior to this announcement.
[Update:]
This means that if you pre-ordered the Base Game (now Wayfarer Package), you will start your Elyon adventure with 2,000 Rubies. You will still get 1,000 additional Rubies if you pre-ordered the Expansion Package and 2,000 additional Rubies if you pre-ordered the Expedition Package. Besides that, you will receive an additional 1,000 Rubies to your total if you pre-ordered either one of them. You will receive an extra 2,000 Rubies if you pre-ordered both Packages.
To summarize:
Wayfarer Package = 2,000 Rubies
Wayfarer Package + Expansion Package = 4,000 Rubies
Wayfarer Package + Expedition Package = 5,000 Rubies
Wayfarer Package + Expansion Package + Expedition Package = 7,000 Rubies
*These additional Rubies will not be distributed to anyone that purchases after this announcement (September 10).

While this wasn’t an easy decision, we feel it is ultimately the correct one. For anyone disappointed, particularly those who pre-ordered, or marked time off their calendar to dive into Elyon this September, we deeply regret causing this disruption to you. We hope you understand our intent is to bring you the very best Elyon we possibly can.
In the meantime, we'll be far from radio silent. In fact, expect us to run some fun events and streams leading up to launch. We’d be thrilled if you joined us in participating in those when we announce details. Please keep an eye on our social channels or just come hang out with us on Discord.

Every applicant selected to participate in CBT2 will receive a confirmation email on August 13.
While applicants will be selected randomly this time around, our teams will still be giving out plenty of beta keys through promotions and social media events. Participants selected through the application form will not receive a key, but their account will automatically get access to CBT2.
After the testing period, you will be contacted via email with a link to a survey where you can share your feedback.
CBT2 Specifications
Game Build
CBT2 will feature a modified build based on the June 2, 2021 version of the Korean service. In this build we will be testing a variety of different systems created specifically for the western version of Elyon, spanning from an updated marketplace to the renewed Luminus system that will be present in our regions.

Is this build what you’re intending to launch with?
No, similarly to CBT1, this build is not the one we intend to launch with. Our goal is to launch with a build that is a couple of months behind the Korean version at the time of the western release.

Language
English, German, French and Spanish will be available during CBT2.
Servers
There will be two regions available - Europe and North America.
Each region will initially have 3 servers. An additional 2 servers will be opened depending on traffic and server load.

Can I swap between servers freely with the same character?
No, swapping/transferring your characters from one server (or region) to another is not possible. In the case additional servers are opened during CBT2 and you want to play there, you will have to start from scratch.

Cash Shop
The cash shop (namely Ruby Shop) will be available for testing in CBT2. Rubies will be given for free via in-game mail and through promotions.
All test Ruby Shop purchases made during CBT2 will not carry over to release. Rubies accumulated throughout the testing period will also not be present on your account on-release.
Maintenance
At any point during the CBT2 period, maintenance may be carried out to ensure server stability or fix critical issues. In such a case, a notice will be made as early as possible.
Progress
Your CBT2 progress will be wiped after the testing period ends.

Elyon releases on September 29, pre-order now!
After giving you the details about our Ruby Shop, we have more big news to share. Today, we are ready to unveil pre-order packs for Elyon that you will soon be able to purchase on the official website (Steam will update shortly thereafter, and will also have these packs).
Since it’s almost never exciting to pre-order stuff for ‘early next season’, we would like to start this post off with our release date! Elyon will be available for everyone to play on September 29, 2021, with the possibility to dive into it even sooner if you pre-order the game.
Play Elyon for less than 30 dollars/euros!
Elyon’s base game is available to pre-order at the price of 29,99 and already offers some cool extras! Besides the game, you will also be granted access to Elyon’s CBT2, which starts in less than a month! Also, you probably never knew you wanted one, but by pre-ordering the base game you will receive your very own knight cat Pet as an extra!
This exclusive Pet is ready to help out on bringing cat-astrophic defeats to your enemies by being geared up from head to tail. The armor will also ensure it won’t lose any of its nine lives, making it the most convenient yet least petable cat you’ve ever had.
There is more! Our base game also includes the ‘Glorious Wings Wingsuit’, a Hoverboard Mount, a Siamese Cat (more cats equals more awesomeness), 5 Resurrection Scrolls, an in-game title and the ability to create your character early on.
You will also get a 24 hour head start, so you’ll be ready to enjoy Elyon on September 28 instead of September 29!
Additional value with the Expansion Pack or Expedition Pack
We have two additional Packages available to upgrade your pre-order tier with. With the Expansion Package or the Expedition Package, we offer you the ability to start your adventure even sooner than September 28! Let’s see what both packs are about.
After pre-ordering the base game, you’re able to upgrade your pre-order tier with the Expansion Package for 30,00. Along with the opportunity to dive into Elyon an additional 24 hours earlier, you will also receive 1,000 Rubies, a 14-slot Storage Expansion, a 16-slot Inventory Space Expansion, and a Character Slot Expansion Ticket, giving you a total value of 46,00 for 30,00. It includes even more bonuses, but let’s first see what the Expedition Package has to offer!
The Expedition Package costs 40,00 for an actual value of 61,00. It includes 2,000 Rubies, a 30 Days Star’s Blessing Package, a 30 Days General Goods Caller, a 30 Days Storage Keeper Caller and a 30 Days Craftworks Chest. Just like with the Expansion Package, you will also get an additional 24 hour headstart.
If you pre-order either the Expansion Package or the Expedition Package along with the required-to-play base game, you will receive an Exclusive Weapon Pack on top of all the goodness already mentioned. Perfect to finish your enemies off in style!

Ruby Shop Introduction
Many of you are curious about how the Ruby Shop will look in Elyon. Here, we will go over the availability, price and mechanics of what will be for sale and how it differs from other versions. For a broader overview, please check out the video that accompanies this post.
So let’s get started.
Ruby System
As you may be familiar with from many other games, Elyon will feature a virtual currency system. You will be able to purchase 1000 Rubies for 10 EUR/USD. Free bonus Rubies will be granted for higher purchases.
Removal of the Gears Currency
Gears are a game currency in the Korean version of Elyon, that is purchased with Rubies and can be used to buy various items and buffs. They are also obtainable by converting in-game Gold into Gears, and can likewise be converted into in-game Gold through an exchange system with self-adjusting exchange rates.
This currency has been completely stripped out of the western version of Elyon along with the exchange systems that come with it, and items that could be bought using it have either been made available through other means or removed from the game entirely.
Introducing the Loyalty System
A new currency is introduced - “Loyalty”. Loyalty is obtained daily through in-game attendance rewards and can be spent in the Ruby Shop for a variety of items. Loyalty may also be given via events.
Some of the items that can be purchased with Loyalty are: Star’s Blessing (1 Day), Decoration Tokens, Luminus/Pet Expansion Slots and various Luminus Battle buffs like Item Acquisition Chance, Gold Increase and EXP Increase.
Loyalty can not be obtained with real money.
General Items
Expansion. The Ruby Shop will feature conventional expansion-related items such as Storage/Inventory Slot Expansion.
The Storage Keeper Caller and General Goods Merchant Caller items will summon an NPC that you can interact with to access the relevant function.
With Craftworks Chest you will be able to customize the appearance of your character and dye your equipment as many times as you want for 30 days. The changes you make will be retained even after the 30-day buff period ends.
The Jewel-Studded Material Bag is a 42-slot Material Bag that you can equip on your character’s Bag slot.
Star’s Blessing, a 30-day long buff will be purchasable and grant you the following benefits:
- Hunting EXP Increase: 10%
- Item Drop Rate Increase: 10%
- AP Recovery Speed Increase: 3
- Inventory Space Expansion: 16 Spaces
- Storage Space Expansion: 14 Spaces
- Luminus Max Energy 100% Increase (8 hours total)
- Auto Charge Luminus Energy Daily
- Can participate in Luminus Battles immediately after charging
- Gives 15 Laurel Wreath Pieces daily
A variety of other small-functionality items will be offered, such as Appearance Change Tickets, Mana Awakening Reset Scrolls, Death EXP Recovery Scrolls, and Resurrection Scrolls.
Pet System
Pets will be sold for 500 Rubies and include a variety of cats, elephants and even a teddy bear.
Pets are summonable creatures that will collect loot around you and grant you various life benefits.
Pets can be fused together to increase the “main” pet’s grade. The upgrade chance will be visible, and you will be able to reach a 100% upgrade chance for any grade.
Pet Skill Change Tickets will be sold and can be consumed to re-roll a pet’s skill into a random new one. Apart from the randomly obtained skills, pets will also have a static, unchangeable skill depending on their species. These coupons will cost 200 Rubies each with multi-buy packs offering additional value.
Pet Name Change Ticket. These perform as expected and will be available for 200 Rubies.
Outfits & Accessories
The Ruby Shop will feature a wide variety of outfits and accessories. These products will be cosmetic-only. Outfits will range in price from 1500 Rubies to 2200 Rubies. With the removal of the Gears currency, outfits can no longer be dismantled.
When supported, outfits will be dyeable by using Decoration Tokens or by owning a Craftworks Chest. Decoration Tokens will cost 100 Rubies for single use, with packages available to offer more value.
Gear Metamorphosis Scrolls will be sold and can be consumed to change the appearance of an in-game gear piece into a different one. You must own the desired target gear piece to apply its appearance to the main one. Gear Metamorphosis Scrolls will cost 300 Rubies.
Accessory types consist of Head, Eyeglass, and Back and will cost 200-300 Rubies.
There will also be a selection of stand-alone Character Gestures, Running Animations, Dances, Footprint Effects, Glide Effects, Emojis and Face Stickers. These range between 50-100 Rubies.
Mounts
Mounts will cost 1000 Rubies and include such things as Wingsuits, Hoverboards and Rocket Cats. These mounts will feature a faster movement speed compared to mounts obtained in-game. Giving a 4% increase to normal speed and a 6% dash speed increase.
A mount with the same movement speed as the ones sold via the Ruby Shop will also be available for free once you reach level 47.
Luminus
Luminus are also summonable creatures that grant you combat benefits. Apart from being purchasable in the Ruby Shop, Luminus can also be obtained through in-game activities.
There are currently a total of 11 different types (Constellations) of Luminus, each one fitting a different playstyle. A Luminus can adopt one of the 6 available Attribute colors, which define the Attribute one of their buffs will enhance.
Luminus will not be sold via lootboxes - instead, all 11 types will be directly available in the Ruby Shop, along with a selection for the Attribute color of your choice.
Similar to pets, Luminus are graded from 1 to 5 - you will be able to fuse multiple Luminus together to reach the next grade on your “main” one, with up to 100% chance for any grade (guaranteed upgrade). As with pets, the success chance will always be visible.
During fusion, there is also a small chance for your Luminus to become “Blessed”. Blessed Lumius will provide a higher benefit multiplier compared to their non-Blessed counterparts. This chance is also visible, and blessing will still be possible even when the “main” Luminus is Grade 5.
Unlike in the Korean version of Elyon, fusing Luminus together won’t result in the “main” Luminus to be randomized upon upgrade - a Luminus will retain the same type (Constellation) and color you bought it as, but you will nevertheless be able to change its color with a Luminus Attribute Change Ticket.
With this system, if you choose to fuse your Luminus without a 100% upgrade chance, it is important to keep in mind that except for the “main” Luminus, all secondary ones will be destroyed. The Luminus Fragments that you previously received upon fusion failure in CBT1 will no longer be given.
The Luminus Tree system present in the Korean service will not be implemented in the EU/NA version of Elyon.
In the above table, “Main” means the target Luminus you wish to upgrade and “Secondary” represents the Luminus that will be fused into the main. Example: You will need to add two secondary T1 to your “Main” T1 to have a 100% upgrade chance to T2.
This wraps up everything that will be available on the Ruby shop during CBT2 and launch. Please note that the above information is accurate at the time of posting, but some details including price and availability could be changed based on information gathered during CBT2. It’s also possible that some items may not be available during CBT2, but will be available for launch.
