We're doing some Spring Cleaning! Here's a bundle of new features, rebalances, and bug fixes!

Here at Embr, we’re always looking for new growth opportunities to pass on to our Respondrs! So we’re happy to announce Embr Demolition! Need to liquidate some capital tied up in real estate? Have some toxic assets you need dealt with? Hire an Embr Respondr! Using their expertise and experience with fire, Respondrs will quickly and cleanly demolish the building, leaving you with a fresh plot of land ready for new construction! Our Respondrs offer the fastest demolition times in the industry, thanks to a unique time based commission system. The faster it’s done, the more they get paid! So hire an Embr Respondr today!



Gold and Diamond Tier Rewards:
In addition to cold hard cash, Responders now have the opportunity to join the Embr rewards program and earn Gold and Diamond tier points. Use these points to unlock the most powerful upgrades and equipment. Gold and Diamond points now unlock certain valuable equipment. Earn Gold from special missions, and Diamonds for completing every special mission in a neighborhood! In the near future, be on the lookout for daily and weekly missions and challenges specifically designed for reward program members. Stay tuned! We’ll have more to unlock soon!



New Tool - The Toilet Grenade ($500, 2 Gold):

For a long time Respondrs have been challenged by the problem of clients who just can’t contain their excitement about Embr’s amazing firefighting services. Many react in different, sometimes unpredictable ways. Now Embr has found a way to channel that energy into helping clients help themselves! Simply deploy the new Golden Toilet Grenade and all nearby clients will be attracted to it immediately! Be careful though, clients will prioritize the toilet over their own safety! Buy one now using Embr Gold!

New Upgrades:

  • Ice Gun

    • Refillable Ice ($1500, 3 Gold)

      • Refill at sinks, but be careful, it drinks up water quickly!


    • Client Safety Insurance ($1000)

      • Use the ice gun while carrying clients, just like you would a standard issue fire hose!

  • Jump Pad

    • Auto Cancel ($500)

      • Tired of bouncing around uncontrollably? With the auto cancel upgrade, landing on a jump pad will allow you to fall softly.


    • Rubberization Applicator ($500, 1 Gold)

      • Launched objects will take significantly reduced damage upon landing after using the jump pad.


    • Parachute Application ($2000, 1 Diamond)

      • Applies a standard issue parachute to any object, client, or Respondr launched.


Balance Changes:
Clients in District 1 too often use construction materials that are a touch too flammable and electric outlets of generic brands, and this has made solo Respondr calls riskier. We’ve worked with clients to better fireproof their premises so that Respondrs could make the same tips with ⅓ of the effort.


  • New armor and respawn systems: Player more resistant to and heals faster from sudden hazard damages the first time through in a level. Player also receives extra spawns upon death for their first several missions.
  • Adjustments to fire spread and fire starts throughout District 1.
  • Adjustments to introduction, pacing, and placement of hazards, obstacles, and props throughout District 1.
  • Adjustments to total client count and minimum rescue success criteria in some District 1 levels as well as the Gaslight campaign.
  • Water levels have been adjusted. Be careful to manage your water and keep an eye out for sinks in missions.
  • Various tool costs have been adjusted, many including new Gold and Diamond currencies.

In addition, clients now notice you stealing their valuables in a new way. The more clients you currently have rescued, the more likely they are to notice you taking their things. If they notify you that they’re removing a star, you won’t get it back, but if they don’t tell you that, it means you will still receive your normal rating for the mission.



New Heads Up Display:
For Respondrs rushing into burning buildings, there’s arguably nothing more important than the HUD. So it should come as no surprise that we’re introducing the Embr HUD 2.0! A lot of the things that Respondrs have been clamouring for to make the HUD easier to use and provide more information are now in. Enjoy!
