Hello, In EOD main map is divided between provinces and each contains 20-30 villages. The town is the main centre of the provinces.
Each town is controlled by the Lord and all villages in that region owned by him which he can distribute in his vassals. Every village/town requires food depend upon its population, If food requirement is not met than it will affect moral and reduces income.
Taxation Every rular can decide tax to impose n his settlements but more tax more people becomes unhappy and can cause riots.
Build Owner of settlement can choose what to build or upgrade existing buildings.
Every building gave certain income and requires maintaince cost. like if you found you'r settlement is starving it is best to build food generating buildings.
Vassals Character will decide(according to his traits) tax for his vassals, Vassals can provide levies for war. If vassal becomes more powerful then his liege he could declares independace also demanding too much tax from vassals will make them angry and they can form group and they can try to overthrow liege.
The most important thing is Traits of the character as every character have his own unique goal and he will try to achieve his goals based upon his personality traits.
Empire Of Merchant
Hello, In EOD Player start his journey as a normal man without any money or special skills he is just another man in the power-hungry world. To earn money player can become a merchant and travel across world selling goods.
Price of goods depends on many aspects but the most important part is the ratio of supply and demand. Every city/village needs a certain amount of goods(Food/Metal/Luxury Items) their cost based upon the ratio. Best way to earn money is to buy low sell high easiest way is to reduce supply to inflate the price by threatening other merchants or bribing them or killing them. Also, other factors also count like war etc.
PS: You can also loot the stores to make some money, In the next part I will give more info about creating crime organizations.
Hello, Sorry for the late update. Last month I was working on many things but my main focus was to make wars bigger and batter. Many people were not happy with the animations shown in the trailer I worked really hard on that to make them run on GPU which makes them looks much better now. Also, battles are much optimized, On my rig(1050ti) I can easily render 20k-30k soldiers on the battlefield with better GPU the amount would be much higher. I am attaching a simple gif of 1000 soldier running with new animation system. I hope you will like it.

1) The major challenge of creating this game is to render thousands of Ai soldier each with individual ai etc. Few games in a similar category as of this game gives the ability to the player to run riot with thousands of ai soldiers but not allowed to control a single soldier or player character In case of RPG games max count of the individual soldier is in few hundreds each with unique ai and physics. While making EOD I want to blend both things together to give player ability to control thousands of soldier and also kill enemy soldiers with his sword. In early build maximum amount of soldiers controlled by the player are 700-1000(30-45fps). Last month I spend the majority of time to solve this problem because king with an army of 500 soldiers is just idiotic. So I need to rewrite 80% my previously written code, trade-off many things and finally, I can render soldiers I always wish for. In my last test, I can manage to run with 7500-11000 soldier at solid 60 fps on GTX 1050ti. I am still improving many things from pathfinding to collision checking but I am happy with the progress I made.
2)Towns and Villages: In EOD, I almost changed over 10s of times their design I am still not satisfied with it but I am planning to improve them later on early access.
3)NPC-Ai: Now each NPC ai will have their own schedule but they are not just brain-dead zombies roaming from one place to another. They will act and behave according to player actions
4)How complete is the game: To be fair If I want I can release game even tomorrow but I keep adding things into it. Anyways also all images and trailer are from last build game look much better now. After confirming a few things I will change them later.
Tactics Creator
In Empire Of Devil Before going to war player have a variety of option to set the shape of the army and give specific instruction to each unit.
The shape of the army is generally divided into three parts Centre, Flanks and Reserve.
From Formation window player can divide army units in different formation.
Player can also assign strength of unit as in one unit max amount of soldier is 250. With sorting option give choice of soldier included in unit by sorting with their Level andHealth.
From movement, window player can give movement instruction to a specific unit.
1) Setting the target unit,
2) Attacking on flank
3) Rear attack etc.
4) Chain movements
From Unit Order player gives instruction to ai what to do in various conditions like.
1)Outnumbered by an enemy unit.
2)Attacked by the ranged unit.
3)Enemy unit is routing.etc.
With Advanced window, player can give instruction to individual soldier in Each unit. Soldier Ai will follow rules set by the player.
Marriages in Empire Of Devil
In Empire Of Devil, man can marry up to 6 times. Once the ruler died the oldest child inherits primary titles and other titles are distributed between other children. Once player character died the game will allow you to choose the character among his children you can also randomize this process by allowing game to select character for you.
Wives like to see their children on the throne and plot schemes against the current heir. If they have enough influence on their husband they will force him to change succession order.
Marriages are great ways to form Alliance with other factions. These factions also support the child by that marriage if succession war happens. Characters can also choose to elope, making an enemy with the faction.

Hello, Empire Of Devil is a hybrid of Rpg and RTS Genre. The main theme of this game is power corrupts. It gives you feel of being a king in the medieval era. You start your journey as a Nobel in the kingdom as with increasing influence your social and political standing increases.
Empire Of Devil contains in depth diplomacy to tactics manager to control your forces on the battlefield. You can control thousands of troops like an RTS game but still need to lead in them on the battlefield for the glory.
