It has been a while since you heard from us, life has been busy, and we have had a bit of time away from development. At the same time, we focused on our jobs and personal life, but now we are ready to move forward with the V2 update with fresh motivation and a clear image of what we want and will be doing.
Laying the groundwork
Since our last official update, we have been discussing, working on, and thinking about this update for a long time. A full rewrite would benefit us as developers and you as players. We will be able to add new content much easier and quicker, and the result will be a much more polished and complete game. Every system is being redone from the ground up using the experience we gained from the last year of testing and experimenting.
Detailed Breakdown
1. The environments will be completely overhauled, the old ones will be scrapped, and new ones will be put in their place. Unfortunately, this will result in the removal of the snow environment, but I assure you the new ones will be a million times better. The current environments are large and clunky taking minimal advantage of the double jump or general movement/pace of the game. In contrast, the new ones will be much better visually and for combat.
2. A rewritten character controller will allow us to have much smoother and more polished movement to help compliment the new environments. However, the controls will remain the same.
3. Modding support, starting small with a few things being modded but eventually we want to add a lot more to this. It's an experimental thing, but we think it could benefit the long-term playability of the game and overall enjoyment. Ideally, we want everything in the game to be moddable.
4. Large amount of tweaks will result in a much better and more balanced game. We are working on tweaking how guns and enemies get their stats. This should help balance the game's difficulty and lower the chances of getting a near useless gun.
5. A new gun system will allow us cooler, faster, and more accurate projectiles for the game. This will make a huge difference in the user experience, and we are excited to start showing you guys what we have planned for the weapons.
6. Steamdeck and Controller support are also gonna be included in the v2 update!
Plus a ton more new features, tweaks, and bug fixes that are still being implemented and worked on.

Major Refactor
Hello! The game is currently undergoing a major refactor and being made from the ground up. The models will stay the same but how the game functions will not. This is being done to add more to the game while making it more sustainable for future updates. This update will take a while to complete but below is a list of features planned to be added during this time period.
The game might have sales disabled but at this point I have not decided, but in order to test the new version of the game you must own a copy prior to sales being disabled. Anyone that owns a copy is eligible to sign up to test, the only exception is if you are interesting in working on mods then I may grant you a key to help with the testing of mod support.

Endless Firepower Early Access
We finally did it, after month and months or hard work and learning we have finally finished the core of the game, enough where we can start allowing the community at large to try it and begin suggesting additions to make the game even crazier! The entirety of the core content is in and ready to be expanded on which is exactly what we want to do. New environments, new weapons, new bosses, new enemies, more perks, more classes, and more craziness. It's our goal by the time the game is finished to have numerous crazy possibilities in each weapon and environment that continues to get more and more insane as you go. With each major update going forward we wanna add some major new pieces of content.
This is our first game and we wanna make it the best we can so if you have ideas or suggestions we are more then willing to work on them and make this game just a wacky fun crazy amalgamation of community ideas combined with the roadmap we already have in place for future content.
