Here's what we are currently working on.
Short-term features under development:
- Add haptic feedback to weapons to improve immersion
- Add muzzle-flash to the pistols
- Improve shotgun muzzle-flash so that it looks better in VR
- Improve pistol sound-effects
- Add hit sound and particle effects for more materials to improve overall realism
- Improve environment colliders so that objects behave properly when colliding.
- Improve bullet trace effects to add continuity during rapid bullet movement.
Longer-term features under development:
- Add additional weapons and abilities
- Implement an in-game inventory system to allow multiple items and weapons to be used in-game.
- Enable exploration and movement dynamics
- Move away from an exclusive "wave-based" architecture and build puzzles and exploration into the plot
- Flesh out the plot...
We have specific plans for the overall plot and exploration/puzzle dynamic, and are already working on it. Can't wait to share more about it!
