Starting the Endless Day with a bang!

Hey everyone,

Let's just kick right to the chase, because we've got a lot of stuff on the way: Amplitude will be celebrating its 7th anniversary three days from now. We've got a LOT of cool stuff coming your way, starting with:


Vaulters Expansion - coming January 25th



This first Endless Space 2 Expansion re-introduces players to the Vaulters, our all-time fan favorite civilization. Yup, most of you folks guessed that one right.

A new civilization means, as usual, a new way to play: the Vaulters will have the ability to teleport and use the Argosy - their legacy colony ship featured in the Prologue video.

They will also have their own heroes (including the famous Opbot), technologies, buildings, a new starting special node, the Sisters of Mercy minor civilization that they brought with them from Auriga, and of course, a brand-new main quest. Will they discover the truth about their Gods? Will they find a new home to start all over? Will they save their people that stayed on Auriga?

The Expansion will also feature new exotic combat modules like boarding and taking control of ships, as well as the Pirate Diplomacy gameplay enabling negotiations with their leader.

The Vaulters expansion will be released on the 25th, and you can already preorder for 10% off on Steam this week for $9.89, down from the full price of $10.99.


The Community Challenge Add-On is live!

Update 1.2.0 includes the community add-on content you all unlocked through playing, as well as the contents of update preview 1.1.15, plus some more fixes, additions and balance changes, as well as localization improvements. Here's a reminder of the free stuff:

Endless Space 2 Free Weekend & Community Challenge!





Hey everyone!

As part of the celebration for the release of the Galactic Statecraft update, Endless Space 2 is having its very own Free Weekend! You have until 6PM GMT on Monday 20th to give the game a try, or to get your friends involved! Getting your friends involved might be a good idea, as we are jumping at the chance to issue a Community Challenge, where the higher the total player count over the week-end, the more rewards will be unlocked for everyone, for free!

You only need to play once to participate, so even if you don't have much time, make sure you do your part by playing at least once and telling your friends they can try the game for free!

'Galactic Statecraft' is coming soon!



Hey everyone!

You might have guessed from the numerous hints we've been dropping on our forums and elsewhere, or even the fact that we are currently holding a closed beta, we've got some cool stuff coming up in the next update! Coming out Thursday, November 16th, Endless Space 2: Galactic Statecraft will include numerous new features, balance changes, and reworks of existing features, all designed for a more immersive experience in the Endless universe.


We will showcase some of these features all throughout next week, and of course, we will have our traditional launch stream on Thursday at 5PM CET to give you a taste, just before the update drops. Don't forget to tune in! If you like, you may follow the channel already to get notifications when the stream goes live.

It would be unfair to just say "the update is coming!" without giving you at least a hint of things to come, so without further ado, here's a glimpse of Galactic Statecraft:
