New free “Greenery”-Update
First off, this update comes alongside some greater news, so stay tuned for the announcement coming up shortly after!
We made Endzone compatible with Asus Aura hardware. This allows your Asus Aura peripherals to react in accordance to the game state, highlighting hotkeys, ongoing droughts, radiation and more.
Additionally, we have fixed some issues concerning the game when played on Steam Deck. This includes mostly UI fixes, especially with the expedition UI.
Last but not least, we added three new decorations for your settlement! While the game already includes a number of decorative elements, we wanted to add more greens and organic looping assets, servicing those who wish for more natural forms and to "green up" their settlement.
We are excited to see them in future screenshots of your settlements!
We know you have asked for this quite some time, and even though we cannot share all details right now, let’s start with an old saying “Every new beginning comes from other beginnings end”.
During the development of Endzone, we learned so much, in technical terms, but also creatively.
Therefore, we want to make use of all those ideas and learnings we have made, closing the chapter of Endzone and are more than thrilled to reveal that we are already knee-deep working on a new project!

Important Notes To activate Asus Aura, enter the "options" window and look under "game". Search for the checkbox titled Asus Aura and click on it. We recommend restarting the game.
Buildings: Added 3 new decorative buildings
System: Added support for Asus Aura
Expeditions: Fixed output required of action points during expeditions on Steam Deck. Required action points were at some point always displayed as 0.
Expeditions: Fixed an issue with Endzone on Steam deck concerning the action- and cancel-button in the inspector UI of the Expedition Post, which would lead to an error.

Can you believe it? 2 years since the full release? -Double-time! Some of you even accompanied us on our Endzone-journey for 4 years, since we have first revealed Endzone - A World Apart!
On top of that, Endzone - A World Apart has currently 1 million survivors, enjoying the game across many platforms! A huge "Thank You" for your support and trust in us and our game!
How did we get there, since reveal in 2019?
Great question. The easiest way would be to take a trip down memory lane together. So lean back and let’s have a look back on what we achieved in the past years:
Since our announcement in late 2019 we started Endzone in beta in early 2020!
Supported by many hotfixes and improvements based on the community's feedback!

As you can see, Endzone – A World Apart is and has become more than just a game thrown into the wild. It's a passion project for you and us alike.

Hello fellow survivors!
We got some amazong news: Endzone - A World Apart is now playable on Steam Deck!
To give you the best possible experience, we ported our UI from consoles to the Steam Deck to make it as accessible as possible. We also fine tuned the performance and effects to get the best results on the Deck's hardware.
But, why only playable (yellow) on Steam Deck you ask? Since Endzone is a very UI heavy game, we had to compromise on text size for faster UI usability. This won't harm your experience and we hope you enjoy Endzone on Steam Deck as much as we do.

On this day, "Prosperity" was released one year ago!
Survivors, October is slowly coming to an end. However, this month is not just any month, but a special one for us! On the one hand, of course, because spooky season (Halloween) is coming up again soon, and you can experience it for free in Endzone (and actually every day the whole year), but on the other hand also because one year ago today the first big expansion for Endzone was released: Prosperity.
For this reason, we want to celebrate the one-year anniversary with you today and put the focus on "Prosperity" once again. What better way to start than with the release trailer?
With "Prosperity", prosperity once again moved into your end-time settlements and the settlers were relieved of work by more advanced technology. This was done, for example, with the Pumping Station or the Upgraded Water Tower, which ensured that water was automatically transported back and forth.
This also resulted in a possibility to support and boost various buildings in their production through the Factory Unit, which benefited especially the Tailor and the Workshop, but also the Medical Facility, Armory and the Decontamination Post.
But probably the most prominent feature is the Demands. As soon as your settlement center has turned into a town hall, your settlers strive for luxury, which they demand in the form of various goods such as coffee or cake. You'd better fulfill these requests, instead they'll climb on your roof!
And last but not least, of course, we must not forget about the Beacon, which is a great monument marking the successes of our settlement and stands as a symbol of existence in the post-apocalypse.

In line with the Spooky Season, 14 free decorative buildings are waiting for you in Endzone, with which you can embellish your settlements. Scare the evil spirits and praise Cthulhu!

Full Release Update | Hotfix #20 | V 1.2.8297.29459
Survivors! We just released a small hotfix to address an issue with the follow-up trading missions in Distant Places when playing with Prosperity on active, as well as an issue with the assignment of settler professions.
Missions: It should no longer occur, that only a trading mission from Lem the Tinkerer can be chosen
Settlers: Assigning professions by right-clicking should no longer result in faulty values
