Major Game Update (Windows Only)
Hi folks. It’s been way too long! I’m very excited to tell you that I’ve been working on Enemy Mind for many late nights for some time now and I have a new build to share with you. See Patch Notes below
First, let me just level with you. This is no longer a paid gig for me. I’m working on the game in my free time because I love it. If there are a few of you out there that are into it, that’s really all I need. That said, I don’t have the resources to work on the mac port and so we will be officially dropping support for it, at least for the foreseeable future. If you already have the game on your mac, don’t worry, it’s not going anywhere. You’re just not going to get this update or, most likely, any future updates. I wish the game had been a big success and this wouldn’t have become necessary, but that’s just not what happened.
Now, if you’re still with me, I would also like to say that I consider this version of the game to be much more complete and quite a bit better than what was released way back when. The following list is not complete. There are lots of tweaks, plenty of polish, and a few surprises to be found. I’d love it if you’d go into the options menu and reset your game data so you can give it a go from scratch. No pressure, but if you do that, you’ll make me a very happy programmer indeed. You'll also get an achievement for it!

Patch Notes
New Features:
Steam Achievements are in! 34 of them, in fact.
Certain player controlled craft can turn and fire backwards. If you see it flip, you can flip it too. Press R1 (default mapping).
The dreaded Wave 8-9 missile barrage is gone. I’m sorry it was ever a thing.
New credits music from the amazing Mega Beardo (megabeardo.com)
Destroyed human craft now have a random chance at throwing dangerous shrapnel.
Transports can now shoot fire out of their exhaust, which can kill enemies at close range.
Title and menu screens now have high scores at top. (friends-only)
Cheats Menu - Unlocks on game completion.
Unlimited ammo - so you don’t run out.
Infinite lives - play forever, if you want!
Take no damage - No stress, just pew pew pew!
Spawn lock - choose your faction, useful for viewing story.
Psychedelic mode - ...will blow you mind, man!
Big Head Mode - Makes sprites big and weird. I just think it’s funny.
Show Hitboxes - For the bullet hell enthusiast.
In-game browseable leaderboards (Friends-Only and Global Top 10).
Secret Codes in menus - I can’t tell you any more about those, good luck.
What’s Different:
Changed kills required for next multiplier from 20 to 10.
Doubled speed of all environments.
Leaderboards display before game over screen, so players don’t have to quit to see them.
Fixed:
Multiplier blast no longer kills enemies not yet visible.
Enemies will not spawn into multiplier blast.
Multiplier blast no longer causes field generators to drift. They explode immediately.
Fixed bug preventing ships left with ammo from shooting.

Hi Folks. I just wanted to let you know that Schell Games has launched a Kickstarter for a new game called Orion Trail. If you're thinking it's Oregon Trail in space, well, you're right!
The art is done by Evan Brown, the art director of Enemy Mind, and the design and writing is done by Dave Bennett, who was instrumental in getting Enemy Mind the green light at the here at Schell Games.

Game Update: Mac Build, Humble Bundle, & Bugs Fixed
Hi all. We've just pushed an update that adds a mac version of Enemy Mind. If you've been waiting to play on a mac, wait no more! If you have any problems, please let us know.
Our time in the weekly Humble Bundle has come to an end and we're very excited to welcome everyone who recently picked up the game. We've never had so many players before and it's really awesome! There are a few of you that are starting to crack some of the secrets of the game in the forums, so now's a good time to pop in.
We've also fixed a couple of very unpleasant bugs: One that caused the game to stop spawning new waves at certain points, and one that caused the game to hang forever trying to comunicate with the leaderboards if you were offline.
