Guo, here.
I have been notified about a two issues regarding EOS 27. These issues should not impact new players, but may impact existing ones:
Executable Error on Game Launch
First, some people have been receiving an error upon launching the game.
Here is a potential fix:
Right Click on EOS 27 in your library --> Click Properties... --> Local Files --> Verify integrity of game files...
This should allow you to launch your game again.
Save Files Have "Disappeared"
Secondly, some have been reporting that their save files are no longer appearing in-game. Don't worry, they aren't permanently removed, but rather are hiding somewhere in the files due to an error on our part.
Here's what to do to retrieve your save:
Right Click on EOS 27 in your library --> Click Properties... --> Local Files --> Browse...
In the game files, you should see either a folder named WindowsNoEditor or Eos27SaveFix.
Here's what to do next in your game files:
- Open either folder WindowsNoEditor or Eos27SaveFix, whichever is there.
- Locate the folder named Saved
- Copy the Saved folder.
- Go back to the main game files area (exit the WindowsNoEditor/Eos27SaveFix folder).
- Paste the Saved folder into your main game files area. Say yes to replacing any files named that.
Your save file should now appear in-game.
If these fixes do not work for you and you do not mind restarting your progress, we have found that reinstalling the game clears the game of issues, but does not retain your progress.
We hope that these fixes work for you. If they do not, please send me an email at developerjjg@gmail.com. We take full responsibility for these issues, for they were due to poor practices on our part, and sincerely apologize if they have interrupted your experience playing. We completely understand why this issue has arisen and will make sure that this issue will never appear again in future updates.
Again, we deeply apologize if your experience playing EOS 27 has been interrupted by these issues.
