Epic Battle Fantasy 4

Epic Battle Fantasy 3 coming to Steam!

Hey guys! I'm releasing Epic Battle Fantasy 3 on Steam for free!
It's up on Greenlight now, so please vote on it and share it!

EBF3 was originally published in 2010, and it'll have a few minor updates in this version, but for the most part it's still the same game as before.

Here's a list of the new features:
• Ads removed – except for links to EBF4 and BH2.
• Options menu with mute, fullscreen, fast forward, and window size buttons.
• Less file compression on jpegs and music.
• Steam achievements!

And here's some fixes to the gameplay:
• There’s a wave counter now!
• Scanned foes’ information can now be viewed at any time during your turn.
• Minigame achievements are noticeably easier.
• Considering more if I get enough requests.

EBF4: Minor Bug Fixes

Hey guys, I updated EBF4 with some fixes to a few issues:

• Error Logging has been added (ErrorLog file in installation folder records errors)
• Fixed game crashing if the user has no audio devices (hopefully)
• Fixed game crashing if Meow files have been damaged (should use Flash cookies instead, hopefully)
• Fixed Sand Dune's status effect at max level
• Some credits, links, and other bits of text updated

I tried again to add the Steam Overlay. I got it working but it had all sorts of weird side-effects, so I think I'll keep it disabled. Sorry about that.

Christmas Giveaway and EBF5 Preview!

EBF4 Soundtrack moved

Hey guys!

I've moved the EBF4 soundtrack into a separate DLC package, instead of including it with the game, because:
- This lets users choose whether they want to download it or not. (it's bigger than the game)
- It looks better in the Steam store and search results.
- It's going to be consistent with future games.

It's still free and should function the same. You might have to search for it in the store to install it, or go into EBF4's DLC properties window. It doesn't seem to appear on the EBF4 store page yet, I hope that'll fix itself soon.

Here's the store page for the soundtrack:

Let me know if you have any problems or questions!

EBF4.4: Bullet Heaven 2 - Coming Soon!

Hey guys!

The store page for Bullet Heaven 2 is up!
The game's not released yet, but there's a reasonable chance it'll be ready before Christmas. Until then you can add it to your wishlist, post in the forums, or whatever. Check it out:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/412670

The free version of the game is also available on Kongregate, if you want an early taste of it: http://www.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/bullet-heaven-2

The Steam version will include all of the paid DLC that's in that version, plus widescreen and HD graphics support, and the usual Steam features like cloud saving and trading cards. You can easily transfer your saved game between the versions too.

Anyway, I probably won't post any more announcements about it until it's released. So see ya later!

EBF4.4: Bullet Heaven 2 on Greenlight

Hey guys, the Steam Greenlight page for Bullet Heaven 2 is up!
Consider giving it a vote if you like the EBF series or shoot-em-up games, it'll help me out a lot!

EBF4.4: Bullet Heaven 2

Hey guys! As those of you who follow me may know, I'll be launching my second game on Steam soon-ish: Bullet Heaven 2. It's a shoot em up spinoff of the Epic Battle Fantasy series with the same characters and humour, but totally different gameplay.

I'm looking for feedback about how to sell it to the Steam community, as I'm starting to set up the Greenlight/store page for it.

So I'd like to know what grabbed your attention about Epic Battle Fantasy 4, particularly if you don't really follow my work outside of Steam. Did you like the trailer? Did the game's store page look interesting? Did a friend recommend it to you? Did the good reviews help? Did you just like the look of the game?

Basically, what did I do right that made you buy EBF4 on Steam?

Obviously BH2 won't appeal to everyone who liked EBF4, it's a very different game, but it shares some features and I hope that the game is accessible enough for many of you to enjoy it!
