News about the game has been few and far between these past few years as the team at Manavoid has been working hard on many projects including Rainbow Billy (you should try it out!) and secret projects.
Epic Manager represents something special for the studio as the game was their first commercialized game and still remains a popular subject topic at the office.
But enough about that - today we've slashed the price of the game in half. For the over 10,000 of you whi have the game sitting in their wishlist, it's now or never!
We're going to be looking at how the game performs during the sale and make decisions accordingly on the game and its future.
Have a wonderful day,
The Manavoid team
Steamboat Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan now LIVE on Kickstarter!
Hello everyone!
We've been hard at work in the past year, doing contract work for companies like Borealys Games (Mages of Mystralia) and a few others. Doing this, we've managed to scrounge up enough funds to start making our own IPs again and have been working on a special one in the past few months, Steamboat Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan!
Most succinctly described as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker meets Pokémon, Steamboat Billy is a singleplayer adventure-RPG set in a classic Disney-like universe in which you must defeat and capture strange monsters while sailing the dark seas, in order to rebuild and bring back color to the world you once knew!
The dynamic art style grew out of our love of classic 1930s American cartoon aesthetics and the recent indie hit Cuphead. We have re-mixed these vintage cartoon graphics, adding hints of Japanese anime to our characters and implemented modern animation techniques to enhance the game's visual effects.
We'd love to get our community's feedback on the game and, of course, any support or sharing of the campaign you can do will certainly go a long way towards helping us reach our goal!
Happy Valentine's day! To celebrate, Epic Manager will be on sale at 25% Off from Feb.13th to 20th - the perfect gift for yourself or a special someone!

Please note that OSx 10.7 (Lion) is required to run Steam.
Steam Trading Cards, Badges and Profile Backgrounds are here!
On top of these exciting news, Epic Manager is also receiving Steam Trading Cards, Badges, Profile Backgrounds, and Emoticons today. Gotta get ‘em all, am I right?
The Cards
There are 12 unique Steam Trading Cards for Epic Manager, plus a special (and rare) foil version of each card.
Random cards will automatically "drop" into your Steam Inventory while playing the game, while others can be acquired by trading on the Steam Marketplace.
Profile Badges, Backgrounds and Emoticons
Collecting the complete set of 12 cards will grant a Level 1 (Bronze League) Badge to be displayed on your Steam profile. Collecting the set multiple times will upgrade the Badge's level, up to level 5 (Epic League).
Collecting the complete set of rare Foil cards will unlock the exclusive Arcana League Badge.
For each Badge earned, a random Epic Manager Profile Background and chat Emoticon will also drop in your inventory!

Happy Holidays Managers!
Hello everyone!
We just wanted to give everyone another big thanks for helping us develop Epic Manager these past two years! We've come a long way since our Kickstarter days, where 1157 backers had given us their faith that we could deliver a game worthy of their expectations! We hope to have achieved that!
We now have a community of over 10 000 players, many of which have given us a lot of help during the alpha, beta and Steam Early Access testing periods, which was crucial to making the game what it is today.
We hope to continue interacting with this growing community by reading your reviews, your messages in our Steam discussion page and our forums! They all go a long way for us!
For those who haven't seen it, here is a little review from the nice people over at Hooked Gamers!
Thanks again for all the love and support, we couldn't do it without you all in the ManaVoid family! Happy holidays to everyone and we will see you in 2017! ːsteamhappyː

Patch 1.1 HotFix 1
Greetings friends and fellow managers!
One of our community members was kind enough to provide us with an important bug-report about an issue introduced with the last 1.1 patch.
One thing led to another and we discovered more potential bugs while fixing the first one! We fixed everything and rolled out this quick HotFix (v.1.1.1) - it is already live as you read these lines, just make sure to update Steam + restart the game. ːsteamhappyː
All v.1.0 / v.1.1 save games are still compatible! (Although we still recommend you start a new game if your save dates back to v.1.0, in order to make sure you receive all v.1.1 fixes.)
Here are the patch notes! :
Bug Fixes
[FIXED in v.1.1.1] Fixed Animator Controller errors (and/or potential errors) with various enemy rigs.
[FIXED in v.1.1.1] Fixed Database Error with Kickstarter-exclusive cheat code.
---
That's it for now! We're still actively monitoring our Official Forums / emails / Steam discussions, even though we're officially on holiday break. Don't hesitate to report any further bug you may encounter, and we'll keep rolling quick HotFixes if the need arises!
Best regards from the whole ManaVoid Dev Team ːsteamhappyː
Patch v.1.1 is now LIVE!
Greetings friends, fellow managers,
We’re coming up on the end of our first week of full release and we couldn’t be happier! The game was featured on Steam’s top banner and we were amongst the most popular new releases for a few days.
A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who’ve purchased the game, given us feedback and left us a review, it really helps our little four man studio to keep going and motivates us to make the best games possible for you all! ːsteamhappyː
Today’s patch adds new content, new bug fixes and more. Those who’ve been with us for a while know how we like to react to feedback as quickly as possible to make the game as good as it can be for our players.
Although previous saves still work fine, we strongly recommend that players START A NEW GAME to make sure all the fixes and improvements listed below are applied.
Without further ado, here are this week’s (almost) complete patch notes:
New Content!
[ADDED in v.1.1] New Community Created Prestige Class: The Fevered Paladin! The fervor of the Fevered Paladin gives strength to his fiery devotion! Spending time listening to the gods has caused this zealot to seek vengeance on those who would question his faith.
[ADDED in v.1.1] Game Difficulty: Nightmare Mode
Many of you have been quick to figure out the game’s many mechanics and have been asking us to make an even harder mode. If you can manage to beat the game on ‘Hard’, you will be able to unlock ‘Nightmare Mode’ where enemy agencies gain more fame and enemies hit even harder! Good luck…
[ADDED in v.1.1] Mini-Boss Dialogues and Skins
We’ve added little dialogue sequences before each of our mini-bosses, just to give a bit more ‘Hmpf’ to the story and context before fighting them! They also now have a unique look to make them stand out.
Performance Improvements!
[OPTIMIZED in v.1.1] Roster and Items Display Performance Improved!
There was a bit of lag when looking at a big roster or an inventory with many items, this has been improved.
Other Improvements / Balance / Bug Fixes
[IMPROVED in v.1.1] New Adventurer Visuals
We’ve added enhanced visuals for most of our basic classes, because some of them were due for a makeover! Let us know how you like the new skins!
[CORRECTED in v.1.1] Fixed Typos galore
With the amount of text in the game and our native language being french, this was bound to happen. Luckily, people in the community have been sharing the typos they found and we were able to fix a ton of them rather quickly!
[ADDED in v.1.1] Simulated Combat Difficulty
We realized that the Simulated Combat in the game didn’t scale well with the difficulty setting. This has been fixed, prepare to have a more difficult time on hard and nightmare mode folks!
[FIXED in v.1.1] Cheat Codes Issues
It took about an hour for people to find the Cheat Codes for the game (*Sigh* we thought we were being clever too…) and those who had spaces couldn’t be entered correctly. This has been fixed.
[FIXED in v.1.1] Random Encounter Bug
One of our Random Encounters was causing a fatal error, this has been fixed.
[FIXED in v.1.1] Combat Bugs with unique characters
Fixed various animator potential issues with some unique enemies.
This will probably be our last update before the holidays, but we will keep responding to the community and taking notes during the next few weeks, so don’t be a stranger on our official forums, steam discussions or if you wanna get personal, contact@manavoid.com!
So Happy Holidays to everyone from all of us here at the ManaVoid HQ. We really appreciate you being a part of our community and allowing us to make games for a living! <3
Best regards from Louis, Frank, Chris and Simon, the ManaVoid Dev Team

Version 1.0 is here!
Hello and welcome to this exciting announcement!
Today marks the official release of Epic Manager after more than two years of development following its successful Kickstarter campaign, back in November of 2014.
We are very happy to deliver to you the feature complete experience of Epic Manager!
The past two years have been absolutely amazing for us. With the support of thousands of players so far, over a thousand Kickstarter backers, and great friends and families, we made it. The game we were so passionate about, the concept we wanted to play but could not because it simply did not exist is now a reality! We are infinitely grateful to everyone that made this possible.
So it’s with great pleasure that we are now sharing Epic Manager with the rest of the world by releasing it officially on this day, just in time for the Holidays.
It’s unreal to look back at all the hard work, the innumerable hours, the anxiety, and the joys that went into making this game. We are humbled by how much we learned while developing this title and have a newfound respect for every game developer out there.
Those of you who followed our progression during the last few months know it, but we are very reactive and we always read all comments and answer questions. Even if the game is feature complete, we will keep monitoring the forums, update the game, and support it should any issues come up.
