New eSail Pro DLC
The new instruments include a fuel gauge which also shows engine hours. The tank size is 15 gallons and can be filled at Port Fogerty on the South of the main Shearwater Island.
There is also an new wind indicator, showing true and apparent wind speed/direction. Below this we have a new autopilot instrument, providing incremental controls and the ability to set the autopilot to the wind. This is very useful when racing, but is a convenience in general sailing too.
eSail Pro enables you to try more advanced sailing such as mooring under sail. And we have also added a Mooring Sandbox where you can set wind speed and direction to practise your mooring. This is supported by two new tutorials covering more advanced mooring techniques and how to get the best out of eSail Pro.

New test version
NOTE 1: This test does not contain any eSail Pro functionality. It should be largely the same as the previous release, except for certain messages to indicate eSail Pro is required for features.
NOTE 2: The DLC is in English only to begin with.

eSail Update 2.3.102f2
Note that this multiplayer update is not compatible with older versions, so it is possible that boats may not be visible while users update.

New eSail Update 2.3.05
1. A fix to stop out of range data causing issues for all users in multiplayer mode.
2. A new steam ship (The Aurora) is running between Water Head Islands and Port Fogarty in Southern Shearwater Island. As this is a lot of water to cover when testing any sightings (or even better screenshots) would be much appreciated.
3. An ensign flag is now on the backstay. This helps to give an indication of wind direction. You can change the size and position of flag in Settings. (Or turn it off by making size zero).
4. You can now change the sleeve colours of both crew members in Settings.
5. On the chart you can now add extra lines. Also you can set the angle of the plotter (bottom left). This means at last you can properly plot your position using the hand compass.
NEW Autumn Series of race challenges with prizes!
The challenges will be listed inside eSail (Live Sailing Challenges) and on the eSail Live Sailing Web Hub. There will be two races race each week. The races will be added to a new Autumn Series leaderboard. As normal we will give points based on your finishing position (see below for full competition rules).
All prizes will be selected from our Web Store.
First place - a choice of ANY product from the store!
Second place - a choice of any product up to the value of £20.
Third & fourth places - a choice of any product up to the value of £15.
Meanwhile, you can of course order other gifts from the store for Christmas gifts!

Entry is open to all users of eSail except employees (and their families) of eSail Ltd and Valve Corporation and the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competition.
Only one entry is allowed per person.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.

The finishing positions will be calculated by eSail software and eSail servers. These positions may differ from the positions as viewed by competitors.
The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries or deduct points from entrants not entering into a spirit of fair competition.
In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their Steam name and country being used for publicity purposes.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner(s)-up selected by the same judges.
Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.

New eSail update 2.1.116
- Performance improvement in multiplayer due to fewer calls to the server
- Differentiation of crew by colouring the sleeves (this will be customisable in the next release)
- Keyboard shortcuts to enable more precise control of crew. To move focus to a specific winch use Control 1, Control 2 etc. This is the Control key as specified in the Keyboard Commands. Once you have the focus on a winch you can choose which crew member to send there. Use Control Enter for the Green Crew and LeftAlt Enter for the White Crew. (Control Enter and Command Enter on Mac)
- Bug fix to allow easier access to game if not signing up to multiplayer.
- Bug fix to correctly focus MOB panels
