Version 1.55 now released
Version 1.55 has been released with the following updates:
Ammo/weapon scripts updated and should fix the single-shot issue with some weapons
Fixed shotgun secondary fire - shotguns now has working secondary attack
Flight liftoff/landing animation and timing improved
Fall feature improved further
Crosshairs for the "free camera" mode is improved
The default selection for crosshair/aiming on "free camera" switched to manual (makes aiming during flight much easier). Players can change to "auto" in the camera window.
Fog/mist in Solitude improved/reverted - there was an unintentional change made during the previous camera update. Solitude should now look much better.
Added water surface to Solitude as a wider allowed camera angles make it necessary (players can see further)
Particle / mist on level 2 has been improved
Lighting on level 2 (shadows and dark areas) has been improved (more visible)

Version 1.4 is released
In version 1.4 we have cleaned up in the in-game menus; they should now be much more intuitive. The key-mapping and camera windows are now accessible through the menu, making them easier to find. We have also added shotguns as a weapon class and 10 new shotguns items.
A list of the updates, additions and improvements:
Updated / cleaned up the in-game menus
Added graphics settings to the character creation (new game) section, including a hardware analysis and settings recommendation
Camera mode selection also added to character creation (new game) section with description of each of the four camera modes.
Added a new weapons class: Shotguns
Added 10 new weapons (shotguns)
Added "grounder" IK functionality to all player characters (feet follow terrain)
Added / improved IK animation functionality
Improved flight animations - they are now directional
Added "unarmed flight" option. Player can now fly while unarmed (Tutorial is NOT updated yet, will be shortly)
New jet-pack type: armored jet-pack (a jet-pack with high armor value)
Added new jet-pack objects (5 new items)
Improved "fall" function, it should now behave much better, added fall reaction when falling from short/low heights
Level 2: Removed "fog and hazy" graphic artifacts that disturbed the visibility.

We are currently working on another installment in the same universe, though it is not a sequel. It is a third-person A-RPG set 100 years after the events in EFCX. More information will be released in a few weeks.
We are also considering making a sequel to EFCX and perhaps a DLC. If we are going to be able to accomplish this, the game must be able to sustain an extended development period. If you want to see more Cronos X content, be sure to give a thumbs up here on Steam as that is the best way to support the game!
The next updated is planned sometime late summer, so anyone experiencing problems/issues, make sure to report in the discord or Steam-forums. Any pressing issues will be fixed/patched asap.
Known issues: PS4 / X-box controller: The tutorial "waypoint marker / inventory" say X picks up items - correct is "CIRCLE".

Version 1.0.2 is now released!
(The game still will show version 1.0.1 inside the start-menu)
If you have experienced problems / failed to load previously – do this:
Start the game as before, create character and “start game”. The intro should start quickly without much loading time. You can skip the intro if you wish. After the intro is done or skipped, level 1 will start to load, and a new loading screen should appear. If everything works – great, if not – notify us either in the discord channel or in the Steam community pages.
If 1 failed – start a new character and deselect ‘enable intro’. This will load directly into level 1.
If you still aren’t able to load the first level, we urge you to join the discord and we’ll keep working to find a solution.

Starting/loading improvements:
Reduced memory usage on level 1
“Bunker” (level 1) is moved to separate level

General gameplay fixes:
Increased slider for Controller AIM speed by 30%
Adrenaline (slow-mow) mode is off by default, can be selected in the game menu under “auto-pause”
CONTROLLER IMPROVEMENT: Virtual Mouse fade out after a while in idle – just move it and it will reappear.
CONTROLLER IMPROVEMENTS: Aim cursor fade when unarmed – still visible
CONTROLLER IMPROVEMENTS: New slider to adjust virtual mouse speed
Added brightness slider (default is set very high, will be reduced a bit in future updates)
Dialogue window is now movable and positioned further to the left
Improved scripts on some rifles (need more testing but is working)
Fixed 4K scaling for character creation
Fixed errors in character creation text for race and class
Removed cooldowntime on armors and weapons to enable swapping when in pause mode
Escape key is disabled on start and death sequence (pressing ESC during these sequences paused time and game stopped – pressing ESC did unpause/unfreeze but who would know)
Improved the “enemy marker arrow” position.

Version 1.0.1 - The first update is now released
Update 1.0.1 addresses some major performance problems experienced by some players:
Greatly reduced load times
Performance improvements to level all levels

Improved controller/input performance on level 1 (start area)
Increased font size in mission/quest GUI
This update should fix most issues players have experienced, but there still might be some who experience problems.
If you notice any issues or bugs, we urge you to report them in the Steam community page and give us a day (or two) to address/fix the problem.
