  • Fixed Level 94 achievement not being given
  • Fixed a bug where incorrect fuseboxes would show for some players

  • Fixed a glitch where 2 people could climb a rope at once

  • Fixed skin stealers being able to hear you through walls
  • Made it so hounds won't camp doors as often
  • Slightly decreased the hound stun cooldown in Normal mode
  • Slightly nerfed sanity loss in the hotel
  • Fixed some missing collisions in the Animated Kingdom
  • Prevented players from jumping on top of roller coaster carts
  • Hopefully possibly fixed voice chat crashes (maybe)???

  • Fixed no clipping in the hub entrance
  • Fixed terminals freezing if someone else interacts with it
  • Fixed voice chat not working after level travels
  • Fixed player stuck in the air after using ropes
  • Fixed jumping on beds
  • Stopped hounds from no-clipping into walls when turning around
  • Made the hound sounds more consistent
  • Added a settings slider to adjust entity sounds
  • Removed the hound stun cooldown and made them move much slower in easy mode
  • Fixed the hub not showing the correct level information
  • Added a warning for a voice chat engine crashes until it's fixed
  • Fixed a bug where hounds sometimes didn't stop
  • Fixed player counts always showing 1 in the server list

  • Nerfed hounds even more in Easy/Normal mode.
  • Fixed an issue where hounds wouldn't be stunned sometimes.
  • Fixed proximity chat not working properly.

  • Nerfed hounds by allowing you to stun them multiple times.

Escape the Backrooms Part 2 is Out Now!

Wanderers, it’s time to return to the backrooms for a new expedition featuring 12 new and expanded levels, 7 new entities, and a complete overhaul of the game mechanics.

Here are some of the new levels you can explore the next time you no-clip into the backrooms:











Improvements


  • Added an inventory system
  • Added a sanity system
  • Changed normal difficulty to spectate players when you die
  • Added a hard difficulty which kills every player if one player dies
  • Changed easy mode to not decrease sanity and only require one player to find the exit
  • Changed nightmare mode to decrease 1.5x sanity
  • Added the ability to reset your achievements in the settings menu

Hotfix #2

- Added the ability to save progress in Multiplayer games
- Most crashes in multiplayer from changing levels should be fixed
- Added an option to toggle the VHS filter
- Added an option to hide your body
- Added an option to invert your mouse
- Fixed an issue with players jumping out of windows in the Poolrooms
- Some other small changes

Hopefully I didn't break anything. Tomorrow I'm going to rework Level Fun and The End so they don't cause endless pain and suffering.

- Fixed an issue with getting stuck on Level Run at the last door.
- Fixed an issue with players being able to enter some doors to escape the horde in Level Run.
