The third corridor is out now! - v0.5.0
We are glad to announce that the third corridor of the game is out now!
This means 10 new levels with brand new features, such as gravity change, bouncy pads, "Simon Says" and much more.
This is the second-last major update before the full release, here is a list of the various changes and additions:

Second corridor is here! - v0.4.0
We are glad to announce that the second corridor is now available! Lots of new challenging gameplay mechanics to try!
This brand new update also comes with many minor and major bug fixes.
For the occasion, we decided to recreate the game trailer in order to showcase and better rappresent the current state of the game.
We are already working on the next corridor and since we are halfway to the end, we also started to design the very last level which we are sure you will enjoy.

New features, subtitles and various tweaks - v0.3.0
This update has the goal to improve and simplify the game experience.
(1) Every dialog is now subtitled in english. This option can be toggled via the options menu.
(2) If you are struggling in a part of a level, you can now skip it by teleporting to the next checkpoint using the new button in the quick menu. Every level has a limited amount of time you can use this feature (some are even unskippable). By using this function, your level's highscore won't be submitted to the server. This option is still experimental and might be subjected to malfunctions.

Bug fixes and option menu changes - v0.2.3
Other than some bug fixes in this version we reworked the experimental option menu based on the received feedback.
We also added a climbing and landing sound.
You can now also reset your local highscores via the option menu.

Major climbing fixes and experimental options menu - v0.2.2
Thanks to users feedback we managed to locate and fix multiple bugs related to the climbing mechanic (i.e. the view rotation stretching bug).

(*)You can check your personal and global score in the game hub, either via the level pillar (personal scores) or an interactable panel in the main hall (global scoreboard). Also, while playing any level, you can check your current run time by looking at the back of your controller;
(**)Based on the feedback we received, we changed the way you throw yourself while climbing: from the direction you were looking, to the direction of your actual controller movement;
(***)We simplified some tedious parts in the early levels to improve the game experience for new players;
(****)We tuned the timings and the actual forces of the hand thrusters, fixed the double hand thruster not being properly registered
Bug fixes and movements rework
As previously said, in the last 2 days we worked hard in recreating the tutorial to improve the user-experience and change the learning curve for new players.
We've decided to add some videos to show the movements that players needs to use in order to advance through the levels.
The character controller (the part of the code responsible for the in-game movements) has been reworked to have a better experience overall.
If you were disappointed in this game and didn't have a chance to try it at his full potential, we kindly suggest you to give it another try after this update.

Improving the tutorial
Since we received multiple feedback regarding the effectiveness of the game tutorial, we started working immediatly on different improvements to let you fully understand the intended movements inside "Escape The Grid VR".
