We continue working hard improving Esports Life Tycoon after its Early Access release and we are happy to announce that we have a new update for you. Your feedback and suggestions on the Steam forums and Discord channel are essential to us so, don’t forget to stop by and say hello!
Here are some of the improvements, tweaks and new features that Update 0.6 will bring to the table:
Update 0.6
Time to take your team to the next level! Characters now have a new trait: potential. This stat will give you a peek at how good they could become. Players with Gold potential will be able to improve much more than those with Silver potential. The same logic applies to the players with Bronze potential. You can check the player’s potential thanks to a new menu button, but it will cost you some money.
From now on, players will age as they would do in real life. Every season equals a year of their life and they will retire sometime around the age of 23 but, before doing so, they will tell you in advance so you can scout the market for a replacement. Make sure you hire another incredible player!
Prepare to manage more realistic agreements! Player contracts have been revamped. They will now be measured in seasons having a maximum length of three seasons.
Players will get your attention when they face their last contact year so you can decide whether you want to renew them or set them free at the end of the season. Are you ready to take the hardest decision?
When hiring a Marketing employee, you can also choose a secondary sponsor instead of having to wait until the start of the next season.
Players no longer get tired during preseason. Seize their potential!
If you decide to play a match instead of resolving it, you can go back during the draft screen to change your decision. You won’t have to regret misclicking again!
You can rotate your character in the character editor to get the full view!
Fixed some issues during negotiations so the information displayed now is more precise.
What do you think about these changes? We hope this update addresses some of your concerns as well as giving you some new features that we are excited for you to try out. Please, do not forget to keep giving us your precious feedback as it helps us shape the game in your preferred direction. As an Early Access title, Esports Life Tycoon will continue to add new content during the following months and much of it will come from your recommendations.

It’s a busy summer right here. We are working hard on the next updates for Esports Life Tycoon and polishing the final game, but today we wanted to share with you a different piece of news because we are very pleased to announce a very special partnership: WillyRex has joined the cast of Esports Life Tycoon!
WillyRex is a famous Spanish influencer that supported us during the closed beta and the launch of Early Access, so we decided to invite him to Esports Life Tycoon! You can find him in one of the random events that can happen while preparing for your though matches in your gaming house. We won’t spoil what happens exactly during that encounter but let’s say that WillyRex will be interested in some sort of partnership with you, which can end good or bad depending on your answer!

New 0.5 Update is LIVE!
Dear esports fans,
How's summer? We're working hard here at U-Play Online, gathering your feedback and developing Esports Life Tycoon into the best esports manager ever!
Today’s update is based on what you told us on the Steam discussion forum and Discord.
Here's everything we are adding today:
Update 0.5.
The task system has been totally reworked! Now, you can increase Hype, Training, and Chemistry infinitely before matches. You'll always have something to do in the gaming house!
Tasks now offer more information: we've changed tasks to a numerical value to give you a better understanding of your upcoming match, as well as an expected result of how your team will perform against your rival. Task performance will be improved as you climb divisions.
Chemistry and Training rebalanced: now, they are both equally important in preparation for the matches.
Energy tweaked: now escalates according to your gaming house improvements.
Each room can now be improved 5 times per gaming house, which means more growth capacity for your players!
You now need a minimum amount of fans to reach higher divisions. In return, Hype now grants more fans. Popularity is essential for an esports team to succeed!
Economy adjusted: more income from Sponsors and Hype, more expensive gaming houses, cheaper players' clauses and sales... Balance your profit and losses to avoid bankruptcy!
There are now more Sponsors than ever before: 4 sponsors per division, 24 in total. Choose the right one according to your current situation!
General balancing to allow a more logical progression through all the game, including a lower requisite CEO level to move to new gaming houses
Also, lots of issues have been fixed in this update, thank you for helping us to spot them!
WARNING: due to the sponsors' tweaks, there may be some save files which can contain sponsors that do not correspond to their season, which can lead to more or less income than expected. After ending the current season, it's automatically fixed.
We also have a surprise on this update: we have introduced a random event featuring a special guest! If you happen to come across this character, take a screenshot and share it with us on Steam and/or Discord!

The first update of Esports Life Tycoon is among us!
We are listening to all your feedback, reviews and suggestions in both Steam and Discord. We are noticing that many of your petitions need more development time, so we have focused on the quickest changes we can make to Esports Life Tycoon in order to improve the state of the game (balancing changes, quality-of-life tweaks, and bug fixing), while we are still working in other pressing topics.

Update 0.4.1 Changes
Doing hype will now give you money from sponsors, even if you lose!
Players statistics now have a greater impact in simulated matches
Energy rises faster and decreases slower, giving you more time for other activities
Training escalates quicker and provides a bonus to the team value during played (not resolved) matches
Chemistry rebalanced: now grants fewer advantages during simulated matches
You can now sell players to other teams even when the first team rejects your offer
More than 20 bugs fixed
This update follows last Tuesday's Hotfix to improve upon the state of Esports Life Tycoon. Of course, this will be just the first of many hotfixes and updates – as we said, this is a stage for growth and polishing, and we will keep working in the game for the entire Early Access and beyond.

Introducing first changes NOW!
Hi everyone!
We've been working really hard to introduce today the first batch of hotfixes to address Esports Life Tycoon most pressing issues:
0.3.5.1 Hotfix Changes
Diets are temporarily disabled while we work on their balance
Victory percentages (and other on-screen numerical values) are now indicated via text within victory expectations (see below)
New victory expectations: Walk in the park, Easy match, Even match, Tough match, Hard match
Victory expectations are now shown on-screen during the days before the matches and update according to the tasks the team undertakes
Hype bar increases 30% faster
Regular updates are still happening, including the first update we are introducing next Friday, June 28th – so please keep sending us your feedback through our Discord server and Steam! We will add the most recurring suggestions and fixes during Early Access and beyond!

Esports Life Tycoon has been out for almost a day now, and first of all, we want to thank every one of you who have decided to support this project since its first steps.
Early Access is a period for growth and evolution: thanks to your feedback, we will be able to shape the game until it reaches its true potential. With this in mind, we are reading all your opinions and reviews very carefully and taking note of the most pressing issues right now – and we can tell you that we are already working in the first patch to address your suggestions.
Our first update releases next Friday, June 28th
This update is based on all your feedback in both Steam and Discord, which includes:
Balancing changes
Bugs fixing
Improvements on teams and players
Quality-of-life tweaks
Of course, this will be just the first of many updates – as we said, this is a stage for growth and polishing, and we will keep working in the game for the entire Early Access and beyond.
