We are adding the possibility to draw your own latte art in the Coffee Editor!
How can I draw my latte art?
It's very simple. In our Coffee Editor, you need to go to 'Latte Art' step (remember that you need to have the Steamed Milk in your coffee recipe and milk frother in your coffee machine ːsteamhappyː). We have a special button that lets you start drawing!
You can change the brush size and the liquid fade.
You can draw some abstractions, but you can also try to draw something specific (although this may take several attempts - you know this if you've tried to draw something at least once on liquid ːsteamhappyː).
If you take a closer look, you will notice that the customers will have your latte art on their coffees too!
We also thought to ourselves, "What if we could add memes or photos on latte art?" And guess what? We did it!
On the day of the game's release on our Discord, we will show you how to add your own photos to the latte art. Don't miss out - join now!
And that's not the end of the improvements to our Coffee Editor! We will reveal more details soon...

Decorating in New York
Decorating is one of the important parts of the gameplay of Espresso Tycoon.
Here we have a brand new café layout, which we haven't shared with you before. We also have a place where you can put your guitar and a guitar amplifier. It's just as if someone were to sing there, about a cat for example... 😉
But we also focused on the whole neighborhood of our coffee shop.
Can you imagine New York without fire escapes? Neither can we.
And cabs, of course!
And nightlife, a city full of lights, of course. We're in New York - so we have to add a bridge, too!
As you can see, we're focusing on a lot of things here. We want you to feel what it's like to be in New York, drink coffee with friends, exploring the city 😉

New paintings - your pet in Espresso Tycoon!
Dear Coffee Lovers,
We are pleased to announce the winners of our contest!
Although we initially planned to select only three pictures of your adorable pets, we received an overwhelming number of submissions that we couldn't resist featuring more!
You can now see 10 fantastic pets among dozens of submitted by our players and see how they look like in one of the cafes in our game.
As previously mentioned, we will be using these pictures as paintings in our Espresso Tycoon. They will be available in the sandbox mode that we are currently developing. ːsteamhappyː
We would like to provide some additional information about the sandbox/freeplay mode. You will have the ability to set various parameters such as the initial money, rating, employees, coffee shop level, and much more. If you unlock a location in the campaign mode, you can select it for your coffee shop in the sandbox mode, too.
However, if you join our Discord channel, we will share a cheat code that unlocks all of the locations from the start of the game. But let's keep that a secret, okay? Check out our Discord channel here: https://discord.com/invite/D8ht5td.

As we mentioned before, we're going to present you all of the locations that we're going to add to our Espresso Tycoon.
Let's start with Cape Town!
You start your coffee journey here. And you already know that location from our demo (which is still available!).
You're supposed to learn some basics from the coffee business while running the coffee truck.
Creating that location was also a great journey for us ːsteamhappyː
We started with a truck:
Now you can customize it - change the color, the logo, and the font of the name of your brand.
We wanted our park in Cape Town to be a nice and cozy place to relax.
But it took us a lot of work to get to that effect.
It wasn't only about adding the truck to the park - it was still a bit empty. It needed also a lot of work with the proper lighting or the customers’ path.

Decorating in Cape Town
Decorating is one of the important parts of the gameplay of Espresso Tycoon. We don't have any buildings in Cape Town but you can use a lot of outdoor decoration items to make that place interesting and beautiful.
We have a list with the outdoor decoration items like:
pallets
sun loungers
new lamps
new plants
and some more!
Meet your first customers
In the first mission you meet the first three social groups - Students, Hipsters, and Casuals. Each has different preferences. You're going to meet some more social groups in the next missions.
We also have a lot of animals here (we're in the park, right?)!
We have dogs (and you can buy some dog bowls for them!), cats, ducks, flamingos, swans, and... pigeons ːsteamhappyː
Once you complete the first mission in Cape Town you will be able to move to the next one in New York.
Also - the park in Cape Town will be available in sandbox mode, of course.

Espresso Tycoon - ALL the locations from the full version of the game!

As you already know, we're preparing 10 different locations (and missions) for you in the full version of Espresso Tycoon. You couldn't see all of them in the demo but you could have noticed that they are there 😉
It's time to reveal what's behind these 'Not Available In Demo' parts!
1. Cape Town You know that location from our demo. You start your journey here. This is a great place to run a coffee truck and an outdoor cafe!
2. New York Run your coffee shop in a city that never sleeps and has a lot of coffee shops where you can spend time with your... Friends 😉
3. Sao Paolo Take care of the customers who are always in a rush - because you're running a coffee shop in a subway station 🚇
4. Paris Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and exquisite flavors. Conquer the capital of fashion - with your coffee shop in Paris 🥐
5. Siberia Take a long train trip. A very long one! Don't forget to serve your customers a good cup of coffee - it will be useful for them not to get cold 🚆
6. London You can already know that location from our first demo and the tutorial added to our Prologue. Improve your management skills and be careful - some say you may get robbed there!
7. Mexico City Who wouldn't want to relax in a five-star hotel with a good cup of coffee? Take care of your customers who want to enjoy a relaxing stay here. They also want to enjoy some pieces of art! Do you think you'll be able to bring the 'Mona Lisa' here? 8. Sydney That location is pretty popular. You've chosen the underwater coffee shop as our Prologue's location. Run a successful coffee business and take care of the sea creatures (and customers, too, of course)!
9. Los Angeles To get to Hollywood - this is the dream of many. And you will be able to run your cafe there! Beach, palm trees, ocean, and good coffee - it's a match!
10. Tokyo Last but not least! Tokyo is still the world's largest city in terms of population, so you can expect to need a lot of coffee there... Will you manage to take care of so many customers?

We have a surprise for you! We have hidden a chest of treasures in our park in Cape Town! If you find it, you will get an extra $1000! That will help you develop your cafe, decorate the coffee shop better, order more supplies, and... whatever you want ːsteamhappyː
We also improved some things in the main UI - like removing the arrow buttons nearby the name of the coffee shop or scaling the numbers at the top bar.

Some of you reported that in languages with different alphabets (like Korean or Japanese), there was a problem with typing some signs.

As you know, we listen to your voice! We're collecting your feedback and trying to fix bugs and add some improvements as soon as possible.
You've reported that the music after completing the mission ('Hallelujah') could be heard in some different moments. Not only when the alert about completing the mission arrived.
So we fixed it!

Espresso Tycoon - DEMO Patch #1
Dear Coffee Lovers,
We're still improving our demo!
From the players' feedback, we already know that sometimes the customers are sitting on the benches which are too far away from the coffee truck. And that caused a problem when they left the rubbish - because it was hard to find it then.
So we fixed it :)
Now customers can choose only the benches nearby the coffee shop. And, the chairs which were bought by you, of course!
