This update fixes a few issues uncovered by players in the last build:
Fix for issue with the "Clear the asteroids" mission where the asteroids wouldn't explode properly
Fixes a bug with the final mission in Story mode which would cause it to not end
Fixes the alignment of the mission dots in Story mode
Visual fixes on the Story mode Outro
Spaced out the ships in the left side display a bit more
Added some explanatory text around selecting Allies in the Endless mode start menu
Made some slight increases to the amount of scrap you get from destroyed ships
The Endless Mode update is here!
The Endless Mode update is rolling out today. It adds a brand new, fully procedural campaign with 5 flagships for you to take command of as you embark on your quest to reach the alien structure known as The Center. We've heard your feedback and we think players will appreciate the longer campaign, with more variety and more freedom to customize and grow your fleet. We've made optimizations so that battles can include more ships and we've made Permadeath optional in Easy and Medium mode to make it a less frustrating experience for those that found the game too challenging. For those that want more challenge, we've added modifiers to endless mode so you can choose to play with modified rules, such as only being able to repair at stores, or having a chance for systems to be permanently destroyed in battle. We've added a new resource to the game called Scrap, which will be used to repair your fleets. This change was made because some found it difficult to maintain their fleets and have enough money left over to upgrade them. Scrap makes it possible to do both.
Endless mode is a scored mode with your multiplier determined by your difficulty settings. We've added a leaderboard for Endless Mode, and also leaderboards for number of wins in the regular "Story" mode. We've also added 5 new challenge missions to the Skirmish menu, and plan to add more in the future. Almost every part of the game has seen updates in this release:

Eternal Starlight 1.3 BETA available
A beta version for Eternal Starlight 1.3 (the Endless Mode update) is available on the Beta channel. This version doesn't yet have the full set of translations and may still see a few tweaks and fixes before launch, but players are welcome to start checking it out. This is our biggest update yet and features tons of new features. The biggest addition: The new Endless Mode, which is a fully procedural campaign with randomized fleets and missions with new options to tailor the experience to your liking. There are 5 flagships to unlock and play, including the new Entirrizi flagship.

Minor bugfix update:
Fix for missing progress info on ship loadout unlocks (when starting a new game)
Fixed issue with being unable to see item hover descriptions shortly after moving
Fixed 'Fold' icon orientation so it matches your ship orientation
New languages & bHaptics support
Version 1.2 of Eternal Starlight is now available, adding new language support for German, French, Spanish, Korean and Japanese. This version also adds bHaptics support (Tactsuit X40, Tactosy for arms, Tactal for head) so you can truly feel all those explosions.

Increased max points for skirmish mode to 15
Added DPS to item info display for easier comparisions

The next version, 1.3, will feature some larger content updates. We will be adding "Challenges" to the skirmish mode which are more pre-defined missions for you to complete featuring some matchups that you wouldn't get in the single player campaign. We will also be adding leader boards and the new Endless mode. Endless mode will feature a more traditional roguelike experience with procedural missions, less dialogue, and more options for tailoring your run (more starting ship choices and difficulty modifiers).
Update notes for August 13th
Minor fix update: - Rebuilt the game as 64-bit - This seems to fix a SteamVR issue when running the game on Linux under Photon and also an issue with hands not appearing on windows. - Moved Turret asteroid spawn position further away from the center - Removed 'shake to cancel' dragging behavior for now. Use grip instead to cancel.
