Wormholes are a very different kind of Cosmic Signature that you could scan down in any system. Such a wormhole might lead to anywhere else in the universe including High, Low, and Null Security space - you only need to jump through to find out where it goes. Some wormholes will even lead outside the known universe to wormhole space, a loose collection of hostile systems organized into six classes of increasing difficulty from Class 1 to Class 6 (C1-C6). These systems may be home to the extremely dangerous Sleepers, but they can be extremely lucrative for a Capsuleer willing to brave the darkness. - EVE Academy, Explorer

With Gallente and Minmatar national days behind us, now the pious Amarr Empire celebrates their Foundation Day.
As with the other factions, the Empire seeks contributions of capsuleer propaganda that acknowledge the glory and majesty of Amarr! To be in the running to win some cool prizes, you must submit a piece of propaganda for review. Some of the topics it could address are:
celebrate the rich history of the Amarrian people
denigrate the the enemies of the Empire - i.e. the Minmatar, Gallente, Blood Raiders or Triglavians
highlight a famous location in the Empire
recognize a notable Amarr (or Ammatar?) citizen and their accomplishments (this includes both player and non-player characters)
Or something else not listed here - as long as it's putting the Amarr on the pedestal they deserve we want to see it! You can find some examples of the excellent work produced by capsuleers for the previous contests in thesethreads on the official forums.
Valid propaganda could take many different forms: memes, vintage propaganda posters, videos, songs, poetry, short stories - whatever you like as long as it bigs up the Amarr Empire.

After much progress following an earlier playtest, your insight and feedback is needed to make sure Mac users get the best EVE experience possible. With that in mind, a new public playtest of the native Mac version will run from 11-16 August. The playtest – to which all Mac and Windows pilots are invited – takes place on the Singularity test server and there will also be a special masstest taking place on 12 August. Details on how to join the playtest, the masstest, and how to provide feedback are detailed below.
The Mac version of EVE has been engineered to take advantage of Apple’s powerful graphics processing framework Metal, enabling an authentic New Eden experience on the platform.
This round of playtesting is intended to further refine EVE’s native Mac offering – particularly in the following areas:
How to join
To join the playtest and masstest, you must be running the latest version of the EVE Online launcher. Both macOS and Windows users will be able to join. The more players that join in, the better the data gathered which will inform the future of EVE. Please read the rules for Singularity before you join, as these are different from those that guide users on the main server, Tranquility.
There is also an FAQ on Singularity that is recommend reading for playtesters, especially if you experience login problems.
What is the ‘masstest’?
As part of this playtest, a masstest will begin on the Singularity test server on 12 August at 17:00 UTC. The test will cover several areas: client performance and stability, server performance and stability, comparing Windows and native Mac client netcode, and time-dilation testing. For this test as many simultaneous pilots as possible are needed to maximize its potential. So, if you can make it, please do!
Supported Systems
It is recommended that playtesters run the latest non-beta version of macOS where possible. The client needs a minimum macOS version of 10.14.6, and will work on everything above. For Intel-based systems, your Mac must have a minimum of 4GB of RAM and dual-core CPU @2Ghz. This test will support all configurations of M1 ARM-based systems natively in this release, without the use of Rosetta2 for the client. The launcher currently requires Rosetta2. There is no change for players using Windows against EVE’s system requirements.
The native Mac client is not yet a finished product, meaning the latest playtest version may experience a range of performance and stability issues. That, of course, is the very point of this playtest - highlighting and countering such issues will assure that as EVE and its player community grows, quality is maintained and improved. The final public release date of the native Mac Client has not been confirmed, but the results from this new playtest will help inform possible dates for an official launch.
Other than that, get ready to explore the Mac version of New Eden! And thank you sincerely to all previous and future playtesters. You are the future of EVE Online.

Today the holy Amarr people come together to honor the sanctity of Amarr Foundation Day, celebrating the construction of the first Amarr church by Prophet Dano Gheinok. Said to be built over this original church, the Grand Basilica of St. Gheinok sits in the Imperial City of Dam-Torsad and is considered the "mother church" of the Amarr Imperial Rite. Festivities celebrating this important date will be running through to 12 August and there’s plenty for Capsuleers to get involved in!
Make sure you log into EVE throughout this event as daily gifts will be provided for both Alpha and Omega Capsuleers. There are Amarr-themed SKINs up for grabs as well as up to 25,000 Skill Points for Omega clones and more! There’s even an Amarr Expert System giving you everything you need to join in with other Amarr followers during the celebrations. There will also be an Amarr propaganda contest starting soon so if you wield a paintbrush better than a pulse laser, make sure you take part! Keep an eye out for the news item with details coming tomorrow.

It's time to become the bearer of bad omens in the Proving Grounds once more with a specially themed four-player free-for-all Omen brawl. Modules will be limited to meta 4 and below meaning no Tech 2 modules. The big twist this time is that you will not be able to use any specific resistance hardeners on your ships! This includes anti-EM and anti-thermal rigs as well as their equivalent modules.
The 4-player Omen FFA runs from 6 August to 10 August, so get your Omen ready and head into battle! If your skills need a boost, then plug in the Amarr Foundation Day Expert System to give this golden Amarr cruiser a try and bathe your opponents in holy laser fire.

Some of the Cosmic Signatures you come across may be Data or Relic Sites. By fitting a Data or Relic Analyzer to your ship, you can enter the site and hack the containers for a chance at loot! Using the correct Analyzer module will bring up the hacking minigame where your goal is to guide your computer system's virus through the maze in search of the System Core. Break this core to unlock the container and receive your loot. - EVE Academy, Explorer
