Critters' Chitter! Everdell Patch Notes 1.1.8
As summer turns to fall, we are excited to bring you the latest Everdell update!
Features
We're excited to introduce a change aimed at enhancing the card viewing experience for mobile players. In response to player feedback, we've added a new option in the gameplay section of settings called "Tap to View Card." When activated, this feature brings several improvements to the game to make reviewing cards more user-friendly:
Tap to Zoom: Say goodbye to the tap-and-hold method for zooming in on cards in your hand, city, meadow, or pop-ups. With "Tap to View Card" enabled, simply tap on a card to zoom in.
Center-Screen Zoom: Zoomed-in cards will now appear front and center on your screen, providing a clear and immersive view. To dismiss the card, just tap anywhere outside of it.
Streamlined Interactions: We've optimized various interactions that used to require clicking on a card to prevent any conflicts with the new tap-to-zoom functionality.
Bug Fixes
Going forward, only online games add to Competitor and Seasoned Competitor Achievements.
We fixed some issues with layering and clipping when dragging cards or workers around the playmat.
We increased the hitbox for your city when dragging a card to it and releasing the card near the city’s edge.
Community Bug Fixes
Our gratitude goes out to the Everdell community for helping us identify the following bugs which are now resolved:
We fixed a bug where the player gains Shopkeeper's berry when playing the Fool to another player’s city.
We fixed a bug so that Crane and all other cards properly reset their occupied status when discarded.
We fixed a bug so that 2 Rangers cannot occupy a city when Dungeon is played.
We appreciate your continued support and dedication to making Everdell a place with fewer bugs than critters. Keep the feedback coming, and happy gaming!
Quality of Life and Localization [Everdell Patch Notes 1.1.6]

Fixed an issue where skipping the "Discard cards to draw 2 Per" Forest location caused the placement to be undone.
Users can no longer accidentally drop workers in locations they couldn't see behind their player HUD.
Fixed an issue where cards could be played to the city without being dragged to the correct drop area.
Resolved a softlock that occurred when simultaneously pressing the right and left mouse buttons.

Cancel option is now available when making a selection of paired Harvester and Gatherers.
Various fixes for non-English localization translations
