Recently I have been acquiring ancient knowledge and techniques of… mushroom picking. Yes, you may oink oink but it's very serious! My friend told me that if I get the wrong mushroom my stomach will hurt and I will be sick! I really don’t want to be sick, I love eating!
So, after getting all the instructions I decided to go with Grandma to pick some mushrooms. She said she will make a tart with them. A tart! It is almost as good as her famous cherry pie!
Grandma took me to her special spot where she always gets her mushrooms. I was honoured that she shared with me her special place. We all know how those mushroom collectors can be…But you know, what? There were no mushrooms! Empty field, full of flowers but no mushrooms!
Grandma was very surprised and started to wonder if she didn’t confuse something on the route. We decided to go home and maybe look around the path. As we turned back Grandpa jumped in front of us with a whole basket full of mushrooms!
“Aha! Here you are!” he said. “I made you a surprise and decided to do all the work for you so that you can relax! And I will even make the pie for you!”
Grandma was all very happy, but I wasn’t. Not only I didn’t get to use the ancient techniques of mushroom picking but also Grandma is the best cook of them all!
On the way back Grandma was singing and laughing a lot. I think Grandpa’s surprise made her day! I think that it is the most important thing. Next time I will collect all the mushrooms and make the tart and make everybody happy as well!
Oh, and one more thing! On our way home, when we were not looking for mushrooms anymore, both me and my human friend found a few of them!

Peter is learning how to clean the farm!
Oink oink everybody!
Grandma and grandpa told me that once in a while they walk around the farm and make sure that there is no waste on the ground. I heard the other day that ants were very unhappy because they couldn't get across their path because some donkey (i mean a real donkey) threw a big branch from a tree straight on their path! Well, oink, that's not exactly a waste but I know for a fact that sometimes I forget to take that milk jar I drink every morning in front of the house…
Anyway, cleaning sounds like not much fun so I proposed that we make a competition! Who collects the biggest amount of bags - wins the game and gets grandma's pie for dinner!
My friend, grandpa, Willow, two ducklings and our good friend the doggo, decided to compete. We started at 10 am in the morning and the end was in 3 hours. Everybody run in their own direction. I couldn't decide where to go so I ran to the local merchant to ask him for advice on where to clean.
Eventually I got a nice spot by the river, and oink, must tell you, it was very tiring. In those three hours, I managed to take a short nap, swim a little, chew on some delicious grass and poof - the time was finished. When I got to the farm I was a wee bit scared that I didn't do enough. I tried, you know, but oh it's such tiring work…
Anyway! It looked like the biggest bag had our good boi! So we ran to check his four big bags, only to discover that they were full of mud and dirt!
"But… but… mud is not dirt! It's fun and it's important!" I screamed. Grandpa agreed with me and explained to our doggo that he didn't understand well the idea of cleaning waste and that mud is actually very important to our farm.
You wont believe it but the winner was one of the little ducks that got 3 full bags! I was very impressed! Duckling decided to share the pie with everybody because her stomach was too small to eat it all! What a blessing that was, I love grandma's pie! I hope next year I can win and share it with everybody!

Peter is learning how to take care of bees!
Bzzz my friends!
Today I am not saying oink because I am learning and exploring the complicated life of bees! And how better you can understand others if not by imagining how they think!
So, I was always afraid of bees. They are very pretty and I love the honey they make, it's soooo yummy! But everytime I would get too close, bees would get angry at me and scare me off by giving little bites and sitting all over me!
My friend told me that bees do that because they need to protect their queen. I didn't know they had a queen! Apparently she lives in the beehive and coordinates the whole life of all the bees! That's amazing! If I had a queen I would also protect her! You know, like an oink queen! Queen of the oinks!
Anyway, my friend told me that in order to help the bees I can plant some pretty flowers around to make them happy. The more flowers, the happier the bees are! So I had to overcome my fear. I got a special suit and went with my friend. Bees were all over me the moment they saw me, but my friend said that I shouldn't run away or fear them and that they will go once they sense that I am calm.
I relaxed a bit and at some point even forgot that the bees were around! That was so nice! At the end one bee flew on my nose and told me that the queen is grateful and that because of me the bees are very happy!
Oh what an honour that was, you can't imagine! I got a full jar of honey and the queen of bees told me that I can come for some fresh honey every month! I think I am making more and more friends!
Life on a farm is so exciting!

Sleeping animals
Our farm is a beautiful sunny place full of lively animals!
But soon the sun sets on the farm and the eyelids get heavy. After an active and adventurous day comes the night! We wanted to make farm life always interesting and attractive so we made sure that there are also some attractions while the moon is up!
Magic dreams!
You can try your luck at the dream lottery where unexpected rewards await you. But an even stranger phenomenon occur: spirits roam free from their bodies in the realm of dreams, and you can get to play as the animals of the farm! Protect the flock against wolves with the dog, and discover how it is like to be the good boi protecting the household! Nights are full of wonders and they can be as exciting as shiny days.

And if you want to relax before going to sleep, our farm is surrounded by peacefully dreaming, sighting and snoring animals. It can be sheep, baby ducks or our latest star - Peter Curleytail, who makes sure to snore the loudest of them all (the best ASMR in the whole valley)!

Since I moved to the farm I made a lot of cow friends, they are big and majestic just like me! So I would visit my friend Willow every day for some chit-chat, and since she's a mom, a cup of fresh milk that I share with her veal! We would talk about life, how pretty are butterflies, and that grandma makes the best pie!
Anyway, today in the morning, when I came, Willow was all sad and tired. She said, "somuuuuubody take muuuu milk please!" She explained that she is very uncomfortable if she is not giving milk every day, and Grandpa forgot to pay a visit today because the bees needed some cleaning at their house.
I decided to help Willow but I couldn't do it alone.
I called my friend for help, and since she knows more than me, she proposed to show me how it is done.
"It's very easy you see", she said, "all you need is to do one on the right and then on the left. And don't worry if some of the milk doesn't get to the bucket! It's not easy at the beginning!"
I tried it myself and my friend was right that at the beginning it's very hard to get to the bucket. After few times I eventually understood that it's a matter of rhythm and I got it right!
I know I wasn't an amazing fisherman but now I'm certain that I will be able to help Willow anytime she needs a hand with getting the milk. She was very happy! I am as well because eventually, I found something that I can do well.
