The Evergate Original Soundtrack by M.R. Miller is a beautiful accompaniment to the game's heartwarming fairy tale about two kindred spirits, their falling apart and coming back together.
The music of Evergate was inspired by the composer's daughter. When she was born, he wrote her a lullaby and built her a music box to play it. That lullaby became the main theme for Ki and the underlying fabric of the entire score.

The soundtrack features many talented live musicians, including shimmering layers of electroacoustic harp (Lara Somogyi), a gorgeous live string orchestra (FAMES Project) and a haunting women's choir. Guzheng (Kathy Qianqian Jin) and liuqin (Leng Yijing) ripple through Ki's life in China and katajjaq throat singing (Nina Segalowitz) evokes her life in Alaska.

New Quality of Life Update - live now on Steam!
New Accessibility Mode
This new mode allows you to:
- Choose invincibility.
- Change the game speed (giving yourself more time to think and react).
- Unlock all first artefacts.
Further Updates:
- Reduced artefact costs from 6 >12>21 to 3>10>21 to make it easier to boost Ki's abilities.
- The Stone Egg artefact is now the first unlocked artefact in Stage 2.
- The third artefact is a brand new artefact!
- Stages 1-1 and 1-2 have been altered to aid new players.
- The potency of the Crow enemies has been reduced. They are slightly slower and come in from a greater distance.
- A new tutorial in stage 1-2 teaches players how to collect and use essence to aid progress.
- In contrast, in Speed Run Mode the tutorials in stages 1-1 and 1-2 can now be skipped.
- Precision Mode features new animation and behaviour allowing you to adjust the general aiming direction first.
- Added optional release button/mouse to fire Soulflame preference.
We've loved reading how much players have been enjoying the hand-drawn artwork in Evergate and have also added a new animated loading splash screen!
