Exiled to the Void

Sneak Peek #6 - Hydroponic Farm

A place where the genetically enhanced crops are grown. After the upgrade, starts to produce artificial animal proteins as well.

Sneak Peek #5 - Radiator

A cooling module that removes the excess heat by radiating it into the open space.

Sneak Peek #4 - Solar Array

A module that produces cheap energy while being in the direct sunlight.

Sneak Peek #3 - Reactor Module

An advanced nuclear reactor, designed especially for the usage in the manned orbital stations. After the upgrade can be replaced with a thermonuclear reactor that is safer and much more efficient.

Sneak Peek №2 - Residential Module

A module that was designed for permanent habitation of your fellow people. A standard residential module is equipped with capsule beds, a minimum set of physical exercise machines and virtual reality headsets that allow to enjoy escapism during off-hours. An automated psychodiagnosis system determines an exact living place for every resident: the system selects a number of the station inhabitants that are psychologically compatible with each other and recommends to put them together in the same module.
Initially, a residential module can house only 5 people. However, after researching certain technologies, you can increase the capacity of residential modules. The increase in habitation density is achieved as follows: the volume of technical space is optimised and reduced, the internal wall covering is replaced with a thinner one (but no less durable and reliable), and residents receive psychological training to help them adapt to the life in more constrained conditions.

Sneak Peek #1 - Command module

The heart of an orbital station. It has an autonomous energy generator, powered by small solar panels, as well as a modest amount of habitation space for the captain and his closest subordinates. The module is equipped with a gateway for docking shuttles, so you will have to send ships with resources and colonists from here.

When you build (i.e. print using your manufacturing modules) a new station near another Jovian moon, it will appear as a single command module moving lonely in orbit, until you will build and attach more modules to it.
The loss of the command module will mean the death of the entire station.
