Patch Sept-26-2023

This is a quick patch to fix numerous issues.

Fixed colliders in certain areas that make the player fall off stages.
Fixed items randomly become inactive and unable to be picked up when dropped.
Fixed Fight camera is not released in the "Escape from the Cave" mission.
Fixed Boss in the "Open The Gate" mission goes off the game stage.
Fixed the menu UI becomes not responsive when the player goes to the Pause screen while in tutorial active.
Fixed resources are not consumed after fixing the bridge.

I hope this patch will help improve your experience with the game.
And thank you all for reporting bugs and giving feedback. I will keep working on it to make the game better.

Exsys Receives Major Update and 50% Discount for Tokyo Game Show Week!

I'm excited to announce that Exsys, my side-scrolling beat 'em up adventure game, is receiving a massive update just in time for Tokyo Game Show Week! This update includes a variety of new features and improvements, including:

Focus more on storytelling: I have added a dialogue system and redesigned all of the game stages to help tell the game story in a more engaging way.
Improved Graphics: I have improved the game's graphics to make the world of Exsys even more immersive and exciting to support the story more.
New enemies and new boss: I have added more zombie enemy types and new boss characters to challenge players.
Improve and more aggressive AI behavior: I have improved the AI behavior to make the AI challenging and keep the gameplay exciting.
New resource system: Players can now gather resources around the game stage and use them to solve puzzles and for another future system.
New item types: I have added a couple of new item types to give players more options in combat and exploration.
Thai and Japanese localization support: Exsys will now be available in Thai and Japanese, in addition to English.

We have issued a hotfix for you guys according to the feedback with the control scheme and ui in general.

Changed

Add Quick Control Scheme UI to the pause screen.
Add Puch/kick UI to the tutorial scene.
Update music and sound fx mixdown.
Fixed currency UI bug.
Force the game controller to active.

About the Game

What if you awake in a place that you are just something that nobody wants and wants to get rid of you? The only thing is to survive and get out of that place.

Play as a piece of garbage awake in the middle of a scrapyard, controlled by The System. No memory, no purpose, and feel lost wandering around try to survive and find a safe place.

Experience this Metroidvania, rouge-like, beat em' up game. Explore the immersive world of The System. The very organized city and deluded form of order and security where everybody assigned the role and will be eliminated if they do not do what they told to do. You have to escape by finding exits that are scattered around the city.
