Podium Pass Series 4 is LIVE NOW
In the last Podium Pass Series, we unveiled some special items designed by Daniel Ricciardo and George Russell. In Series 4, we have something just as exciting - you'll be able to unlock items inspired by creators Aarava, Terroriser, and Pieface in the free tier of Podium Pass.
Anyone familiar with Aarava’s channel will recognise the items he inspired straight away, with the fluorescent highlights, inspired by Jenson Button and Brawn GP. Terroriser’s set includes nods to his YouTube channel, his love of football and F1 drivers, and Pieface’s pieces show off his support of Plymouth Argyle, whilst accents of orange highlight his admiration of Max Verstappen.
We sat down for a chat with Aarava and Terroriser to talk us through the creations they inspired.
Aarava
Hey Aarava, could you talk us through the set of items? We have a whole set of matching items with a base of white, blended into black with constant accents and highlights in fluro. And you can see my YouTube logo throughout in some very cool and fun ways.
What inspirations did you have for these? I was always a massive Jenson Button fan when he was in the sport, so the colour scheme was inspired by his Brawn GP days. At the same time, it's also not too dissimilar from the fluro colours associated with my esports team, Quadrant. So it's the best of both in a way.
What mode will you be using the items in? I've definitely got to try this out in a My Team Career for sure, but I'm actually more excited to see other people doing just that as well.
Terroriser
Hi Terroriser! Could you talk us through the set of items? The set of items is the collective embodiment and representation of my brand. From the "sponsors" on the livery, which are easter eggs from my YouTube videos and my life, all the way down to the accents on the uniform and the livery design itself.
I wanted to include a bit of my heritage as being Irish is something I am very proud of. I would love to represent my country in the F1 world, so you'll see a little touch of Ireland throughout everything. The logo’s design is inspired by Celtic "La Tène" designs, and the Celtic braiding has been incorporated into different aspects of the package and is beautifully displayed in the front wing of the car.
What inspirations did you have for these? My inspiration for the livery was mainly drawn from an Alfa Romeo C37 concept I saw long ago. I thought it was an insane design, and it just so happened to also be in the same colours that are associated with my brand, so it was easy to envision.
There are drivers that have been influential in my love of F1, Michael Schumacher, Daniel Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel, but I also have a deep love for Manchester United. Even the logo is inspired by a football crest. There are little details all over the design that refer to something, like the flag, the braiding, etc. The livery is just a homage to everything I love.
What mode will you be using the designs in most? I will be using the design in the "My Team" mode, as I love streaming this game mode in my racing simulator on my Twitch channel and growing my team with the help of my community. I'll also be using this design while racing online, and hopefully, I will find other people using the Terroriser designs out on the track, which will be a great and proud feeling.
Each creator has inspired their own beautiful set, including livery, helmet, gloves, and suit, all available for you to unlock in the free tier.
How do you rack up the rewards, increase your XP and unlock these awesome items? Whichever game mode you play, you'll be able to increase your XP and quickly race through the tier. Head to our Podium Pass challenges, and you'll be able to earn even more XP. If you've got PitCoin to spare, you can also check out the Item Shop regularly to purchase whatever takes your fancy.
There are eight weeks to complete Podium Pass Series 4, so you have plenty of time to put your foot down and progress. Don't forget your XP and tier progress will be reset at the beginning of each Series.

Patch 1.14 - The F2™ 2021 season is here
Experience the teams, cars, and drivers of the F2™ 2021 season in our free update. Live from today, get to grips with F2™ 2021 in Grand Prix, Time Trial, Social Play, Split-Screen, and LAN. If you’re unfamiliar with the final stop on the road to F1®, find out about the finer points of Formula 2™ right here.
F2™ is where herculean drivers shine, and the next generation of stars are born. Championships often go to the final flutter of the chequered flag as glory awaits; last year’s champion, Mick Schumacher, was locked in a battle that dramatically went down to the last race in Bahrain. It’s no different this year, as the title race between Prema Racing’s Oscar Piastri, Robert Shwartzman and Uni-Virtuosi’s Guanyu Zhou looks like it could go down to Abu Dhabi.
Today’s update features both F2™ 2020 and F2™ 2021 weekend structures, depending on which season you play. Unlike F2™ 2020’s structure, which you can choose to play through in Career mode, of one practice session, a qualifying, followed by an hour-long Feature race on Saturday, time depending on your race settings, and a Sprint race on the following Sunday, the 2021 season is slightly different. Available in Grand Prix, Time Trial, Social Play, Split-Screen, and LAN, F2™ 2021 has two Sprint races on Saturday, with the Feature race taking place on Sunday. Qualifying sets the grid for the feature race and the first sprint race, with those in the top ten reversing positions for the first sprint grid.
How do I access F2™?
Experience F2™ 2021 in Grand Prix, Time Trial, Social Play, Split-Screen, and LAN. Head to any one of those modes and select ‘F2™ 2021’ to get started.
F2™ 2020 is still available in Driver career, and to find that, start a career and select 'Driver' and then 'Start in F2™', follow the on-screen prompts to tailor the career to your preference. There is one additional option: choose which Driver Academy you wish to join. You will start the F2™ 2020 with a single goal of getting to F1® for the start of the 2021 season.
How do I drive an F2™ car?
Although F2™ cars are less complicated than F1®, they can be more challenging, primarily if you're used to the high levels of grip and stability. This, combined with the low-profile tyres, means you can't lean on the car as hard in the corners, and you will need to get on the brakes earlier.
However, the most challenging aspect of driving an F2™ car comes at low speed, where the lack of tyre grip and the engine's high torque output results in a less planted car than in F1®. You'll need to be extremely patient with the throttle while you go through the gears, as an F2™ car can easily snap on you with minimal warning.
F2™ cars are notoriously tough to drive without Traction Control, so mastering them with this assist on first will help you get to grips quicker.
They are challenging beasts to drive, but F2™ offers some of the most authentic and exciting racing. Start your story here, and when you graduate to F1®, your prowess and refined skills will make you the next G.O.A.T.
