New Levels, new scoring, new speed limits....the Summer Update is now live!
The Summer Update brings a ton of changes to FF, with the biggest being the addition of 3 new environments to fly around. The new levels are based on real-world locations:
The island of Kauai
Mount Baker
The island nation of Saint Lucia
In addition to the new levels, improvements include:
HoverJet tweaks for less drift and much more speed
Revamped AI
New scoring system.
Free flight total hidden orbs upped to 50 and moved to new spawning system
rendering optimizations to allow denser forests
Update 02 now available!
Happy Holidays, Pilots! A new update is now available for Faceted Flight.
Update #02 brings a number of improvements, community requested features, bux fixes, and more. Leaderboards have all been reset.
Community Requests:
HOTAS Support (beta. tested on Saitek X52)
Press “H” to enable if your stick isn’t automatically recognized
Press “H” again to re-enable gamepad support.
Xbox One Controller is now fully supported.
Added “Restart” option to the Pause Menu
Fixed bug with SteamVR Leaderboards where it’d always upload your most recent score
Fixed bug with JumpSeat that would sometimes enable infinite fuel.
Fixed bug where levels would Fade-In and sometimes start before the environment is loaded
Changed default view to 1st person instead of 3rd (in response to some users reporting motion sickness in 3rd, but not 1st person)

Update 01 has been released!
Update 01 has just been released, bringing a number of bug fixes as requested by the community.
Bug fixes include:
Graphics Quality improvement that fixes pop-in and reduced draw distance some players reported seeing
Player's camera settings are now saved between levels.
Controls no longer default to using inverted pitch
Music Volume Settings (set in the Options menu) should now work in-game again.
