Falling Frontier Delay Announcement
Hi everyone,
With 2023 coming to a close, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to push back the release of Falling Frontier to 2025. This was not an easy decision, and I understand some of you will be disappointed by this news. We've had a lot of significant progress this year with the revamped combat systems and overhauled ship designs, thanks to the addition of a new artist to the team. Unfortunately, due to some health issues within my family, I've had to step away from development for periods during this year which ultimately pushed me to delay the release year to 2025.
Thank you, as always, for your support and understanding during this time. I hope to have news about the state of development soon, but otherwise, please enjoy the holiday season, as I look forward to giving you the next update in 2024.

Cheers, and thank you again for your patience and understanding,
Todd
Hooded Horse Strategy Publisher Sale
Hi everyone! Falling Frontier and other games published by Hooded Horse are all featured at the Hooded Horse Publisher Sale. Come check it out!
The start of 2023 has been a bit quiet, but mainly because we've been working towards something very exciting which we're finally able to talk about. Not only have we hired a new full-time artist, but he's finished the first of many new ship designs. Say hello to the Sukula-class space barge:
What you see here is a mining barge - it will be the primary ship used for mining resources in the game. We plan to have another variant that will serve a separate logistical function, but we'll save that for a later reveal!
Our new artist's name is Aleksandre 'Alex' Lortkipanidze, and you can see some of his past work here - we're very excited to have him on the team.
The Sukula is just the beginning! We'll be designing other brand new ships, but also re-designing existing ship models as we move away from purchased assets to bespoke ones designed from the ground up. Next up will be a rework of the Hano, and we'll let you know when it's new form is ready to be revealed!
That's not the only thing we've been working on though. If you watch the trailer closely you'll also be able to see the result of improvements to UI, a new tactical waypoint system, obstacle avoidance, and collision mechanics.
This is going to be an exciting year for Falling Frontier, and we want to thank everyone for their support and patience up until now. We can't wait to share more in the coming months.

Second, I'm writing to provide an update to the release schedule of Falling Frontier -- the game will now target a release sometime in 2023.
While I'm sure there will be disappointment to this announcement, I can also share some exciting news: the Stutter Fox team will be growing with some new hires. In particular, I plan to hire a 3D modeler to produce more ships and other assets for the game, so that the game can release with even more and better content.
In the meantime, I will continue to focus on working with the alpha testers to further develop and refine the game.
I understand that some may be disappointed by this news but as always I'll continue to show updates on the Stutter Fox Studios YouTube channel. I'll also do my best to pop in here where I can. If you haven't seen the most recent trailer, you can check it out below:
