Tune in sometimes for a play through of Falnarion Tactics. On chapter 5 atm.

All updates have concluded for Falnarion Tactics.

If you browse the community hub for the news tab. You will find that this game has been updated quickly and efficiently without a moment's notice. It is my one and only game in early access and I took that very seriously. With that being said, the game is finished and has received some extra content for free. I'm on my way out of being a Dev, so I won't linger around updating it anymore. It's not an MMORPG or a complex Battle Royal. So it doesn't need frequent updates. Most Single Player games are one and done anyways. But, I don't believe in micro-transactions or crappy DLC, so I wouldn't lock future content behind a pay wall if it was needed to enjoy the game or beat it. All my games are beatable with the right strategy and mindset. This game has a bit of a history behind it though. It came out in November in early access, has been entered in a Indie Game contest *One and only time* and have been given silly negative and positive reviews it doesn't quite deserve. Seriously the attention this game got was more then a lot of my other games, but one review in particular I won't point out has become a bit of a meme I won't be forgetting any time soon. "Falnarion Tactics has a story? What Story?" lol. It's funny because anyone who has seen the trailers, store page or played the game. Knows for a fact it has a story. It is as a well known fact as Call of Duty having guns. If you want a game that doesn't have a story well. There is Solenars Edge Heroes, Fesnia and Estellium Legends. Other then that all my games have a story that have come to an end. Speaking of Estellium Legends, because of the type of game it is, it won't receive just 3 updates, it will receive close to the amount that Heroes did. There is a lot more content to add to that game in the future and it will improve over time, even though IMO it's good already. So to end this post. Thank for your interest in Falnarion Tactics and I hope you continue to enjoy it if you are still trying to beat the story, play more side quests or just starting for the first time. It's a Team Syukino game to remember.
The news on the game page will still be updated for the time being, but will mainly focus on Team Syukino and Estellium Legends. There will be a separate post in the future when the news updates are concluded.

Falnarion Tactics v1.3 Update!

Here is another update for Falnarion Tactics!
This update is brief, but tbh the game is finished and not much more I have planned out for it or can do, due to program limitations, but anyways here we go:

-Added in the Dragon Slayer Sword. *Effective against Dragon Type enemies.*

-Added in the side quest; One For All. *Fight every type of enemy in the game at once.* *Level 20 party reccomended, this mission isn't for people just starting the game.*

-Fixed some things here and there.

Did you know there are two Falnarion Tactics games?

That is right. Only this one got released though. The Falnarion Tactics characters in Solenars Edge Heroes have nothing to do with this Falnarion Tactics. Although both SRPGs, the older Falnarion Tactics played a lot more like Final Fantasy Tactics. Unfortunately, it was lost several years ago never to be seen again. So when you hear things about Falnarion Tactics being lost or discontinued, just remember the post may be mentioning the old one and not this one.

-Obligatory Rock Paper Shotgun Post.

Falnarion Tactics v1.2 update!

Hello again and welcome to another *REAL* update of Falnarion Tactics.

Today we are going to go over a few changes as well as bring to the attention of something big. Look below here:

-Added in 3 side quests; Hired Help, Tower Defensive and Reinforced.
-New enemies and allies are introduced as part of three new races for the side quests. The Durungians, Wielkins and the Oinklins. Three anthropomorphic races to fight with, against or play as for the side quests.
-New character; Erica.
-New weapon: Halberd Lance.
-Fixed an issue with Luna that allows her to gain money from shops.
-Fixed an issue with Habber that prevented him from Transforming with the Magic Potion.
-Fixed various issues.
-Fixed the avo and descriptions on the trees.
-Fixed the Reinforced mission for the 3rd time. (Damn those pesky Oinklins)

Also very important thing here: DO NOT SAVE OVER A BASE CAMP SAVE FILE INSIDE OF A MISSION. It will only end badly for you and you may end up trapped in the mission indefinitely. Always make a back up alternative save. One for the base camp and another for the in game mission.

That is all for the update. Now introducing something else:

Falnarion Tactics v1.1.5 update!

-Added in 12 story chapters into the game on top of the "choose your own map" experience by doing absolutely nothing (It was already in the game) <3.

*This update is not real and is only a joke. There was always a story and nothing was added in or changed. This is why your clients did not update.*
Think of it as an off season april fools except no one is laughing not even me. The real v1.2 update will be coming soon in a few weeks with some new content. Happy chinese new year soon though.

Regarding reviews on Steam.

I'd like to call to attention reviews in general on Steam. Not just to my games, but to games across steam in general. I'm good with a positive or negative review. Hell, I'm even good with memes or jokes. I'm even good with a negative review that just says "It's bad." But, lets be honest. Most people go straight to the reviews of a game first before deciding to buy it or not. Most of the time, the negative reviews outshine the multiple good ones and they are taken notice and into consideration more even though they aren't actually there for a good reason. If I were to review a game like Call of Duty and say something like "It has no guns." You would think I was trolling, but if I told you I was serious. Then you would probably think I was stupid. The issue here is that, while people have many reasons to not like a game and have the right to criticize and share their opinion. They should be informative about it. Keep in mind that, some things that people say aren't related to most people or aren't actually true at all. Like for example the cup head tutorial journalist incident. That tutorial was probably one of the easiest things about a game that is actually hard. So to not like the game simply because you can't play the game right doesn't exactly make it bad. Like for example I suck so bad at Metal Gear Solid, but the games are great and beloved, a bit complicated, but great. So the point is here. If you are going to leave a negative or positive review on any game on steam, please have it a bit informative and not misinform people on what the actual game is like due to your inability to press a button, or to play the game correctly or to just be able to read for a couple of minutes. Falnarion Tactics has story. Now it can be a cheesy one, you can hate it. That is fine. Leave a negative review about how you do not like the story if you want. Great. At-least you are acknowledging that fact that something about the game is actually there and in your own informative opinion don't like it. That in fact lets people have some sort of hint on whether or not they want to buy it. But sadly, the awareness being brought here is that a ton of people spread misinformation in reviews mainly through negative and it really prevents you, the consumer, from enjoying things you could like. It's like don't judge a book by it's cover? But not quite. To end this: If I were to put something on the store page and it wasn't in the game, then Steam wouldn't allow the game to have a store page in the first place. So read the store pages just as you read this long comment. It will save your life and greatly influence your next game purchase. That is all and thanks~
