New 1.25 Patch available!
This updates the game to version 1.25 and fixes a few issues with the game.
-CHANGE: Modified the game so now it returns to the Main Menu if you fail the game rather than exiting to the desktop.
- FIX: Fixed a rare but important issue where you suddenly couldn't access the Function or Building menu anymore unless you saved and reloaded the game.
- TWEAK: Tweaked food growth ratios so that you have to keep a slightly closer eye on this than before, and Morale affects food growth slightly more than before.
- TWEAK: Adjusted the frequency of fights slightly, along with the chance of finding larger treasures down a bit to increase the challenge.
Thanks and enjoy!

New 1.2 Hotfix patch released!
A new 1.2 hotfix patch has been released that fixes a few bugs found and reported by players. Note that older saved games may NOT be compatible with this patch due to data file changes.
- FIX: Corrected the issue where sometimes the Royal Decree buttons were blank upon loading a saved game.
- FIX: Fixed a rare issue where you couldn't click on the Building icon anymore after building your first structure.
- FIX: Corrected a very rare issue where music would cut out and not come back until you loaded a saved game.
Have fun!

New 1.1 Patch released!
New 1.1 version released, which makes a number of changes to the game, including the game structure itself.
-- NEW! Royal Decree feature will now require the player to make 1 choice from various special options each turn BEFORE the End Turn may be used. This can be population increases, food, military bonuses, preventing bad things from happening, curing Plagues and Droughts, etc. No more spamming End Turn.
- TWEAK: Tweaked various internal parameters to make the game a little tougher in terms of money and food. You will now NEED to use all the options at your disposal to be successful -- you will NOT win by just hitting End Turn all the time. I'll keep an eye on comments to make sure it isn't too tough or needs changing.
- TWEAK: Adjusted events to occur about 3% more than before.
- TWEAK: Adjusted the music that plays so that it changes less often, to prevent the sudden jarring music changes that proved annoying for some.
- TWEAK: Made some adjustments to the screen resolution changer to solve a few rare issues for newer video cards that came up.
- TWEAK: Adjusted some internal stuff so that Regent ratings have a little more impact on food production (Agriculture), city growth (Intelligence, Honor) and ratings in general have a greater effect than before.
- FIX: Fixed a rare issue where the General could go into negative Life points.
- FIX: Fixed a rare issue (I believe) where the Special Actions couldn't be clicked at all suddenly unless the game was reloaded.
Thanks for your support and enjoy!

New 1.1 Patch -- coming soon!
The response has been decent so far, but we've also read about some of the concerns people have with the game as well. The 1.1 patch is coming in the next few days, and will address several things brought up by players.
- Music will change every 3-5 turns instead of every turn. This will keep the transitions from being so jarring each turn.
- Changes in some text to make your role more "accurate" and clear.
- Adjustments in gameplay and balance to make it a little more challenging, since some stated they could sometimes win without doing much. That hasn't really been my or my testers experience, but with certain parameters in play, it *could* happen.
- Add more events and have them happen a little more often.
- UI adjustments to make the game a bit easier to learn.
Thanks to everyone who has supported the game!

Game Released! A few important notes...
After months of work, the game has been released! It's already on several videos on YouTube and users have been enjoying it already.
A few notes regarding the game:
- This is a fullscreen HD game, 1920x1080. You'll need at least a monitor/system that can do that to play the game. If you're set higher, it'll automatically switch to that res during the game, so you won't need to do anything. It'll switch back to your normal res when you exit.
- The game will have stuff added to it. Like my other games, at least 2-3 patches will follow, meaning if something stands out as annoying early on, it'll probably get fixed or changed. Features may get tweaked or added.
- There's a single save slot for now, and it exits once you save to prevent save spamming. If there's enough outrage, i'll add more slots. The game is designed to be a long, strategic "story", so I think here it might not be a big deal.
