We made some changes to the TCP slow start configuration and got incredible results. This should affect the overall latency if the server is not close to you. Users that were experiencing a lot of lag, specifically when switching levels, should see a huge improvement. We still have additional adjustments to make, but these changes are a huge step in the right direction.

[5/7/16] Bug Fixes
General:
Speed up log-in and character selection by only authenticating steam accounts once.
Add a server announcement and countdown feature to announce server reboot for updates and maintenance ahead of time.
Automatically open global(xx) where xx is your system language.
Added a compatibility graphics option ‘Draw Optimization’ to disable a feature that causes known issues with old Intel OpenGL Drivers.
Skills:
Slowdown animation of Concussion Strike
Increase damage from poison tips from 10 base + 2 each level to 20 base +5 each level
Adrenaline: Decrease the amount of heals needed by 5 each level instead of 2 to activate
Items:
Increase cooldown on potion use from 2 Seconds to 2.5 Seconds (Going to keep an eye on this still)
Potion Reagents are able to be stacked to 200 now up from 20
Removed costumes in the Shop that didn't serve a purpose
Adjusted the price, and tooltips of the costume to show that they are permanent and never expire
Adjusted costumes to not expire until you click on them again
Levels & Quest:
Added a new quest ‘Master of Decree’ to give a reward for completing all the decrees.
Added a small bag and a few crate keys to certain key quests. (Players who already completed these will get the rewards mailed out to them)
Bluevale guards will now only stop you from exiting the town once.
Improvements made to Bluevale (path flow, aesthetics, new NPCs)
Two new secret areas with new mob types
Slightly increase the crate key drop rate.
Bug Fixes:
Early Access Servers - Update 3
We have now gone almost 24 hours with just a few issues arising but everything looks nominal except for the EU1 server.
Since the EU server is so far away from Steam Authentication Server the way our authentication works its not able to keep up with requests coming in. Eventually these start to pile up which cause Login Timeouts (Players not able to login).
We are working on finding a more effecient way to process logins in Europe and will let you know when we have a fix deployed.

Early Access Servers - Most Servers Up
Thank you all for your patience, we have identified and patched the issue and are bringing up the servers again.
We are continuing to look into EU1, but US1 and US2 are up.

Early Access Servers - Update 1
Hey guys,
We found the issue and are just making sure that it is going to fix the problem with the severs. We didnt run into any issues with the server load it was mostly an issue with how big the saves were.
Players will lose progress, but the good news is we caught it before it became too big of an issue.

Early Access Server Issues - Update (Maintenance)
We are experiencing issues with the login server, but most importantly saving the data so we have made the choice that its best to bring them down the servers until we can fix it.

Steam Early Access Launch Stream

Added in Server (region) Selection to client, game will select a server with the most population that isn’t overloaded.
We’ve deployed several shards (free transfers within server). This gives you access to more houses as well.
Steam beta branch: Added in Sandbox Server Selection on startup (Please note if you select this option it is an unstable testing area)
Skills:
Assassin:
Stealth: Fixed the ability so that it properly increases with skill points and with backstab
Grappling Hook: Adjusted cooldown to be more in line with other stuns. In a future update we will have diminishing returns on stuns
Dual-Wield: Increased the benefit of the offhand from 30 Base / +2 with skill points to 50 base / +5 with skill points
Dagger Rain: Properly ensured that skill is damaging enemies based off of effective DPS and reduced CD from 3 minutes to 2 minutes
Brute:
Extreme Training: Changed the description so that players have a better idea of where to place the second piece of armor
Items:
Changed the description for beneficial potions to show that you can only have one activated at a time.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an error where Guild Leaders couldn’t remove their clone from steam account merging
Fixed an error where soulbound items couldn't be equipped after a steam account was merged
Fixed an issue where the Wiki link wasn't working unless you had the quest in your quest window.
Fixed an issue where the quest accept SFX would play to everyone on the map (now only plays to you)
FIxed an error where it showed that players had a 2H weapon equipped when they did not
Fixed an error where other people were able to edit your guild recruiter
Quests:
Added some quests in the desert area
Disabled Jester Quest (Still designing a boss)
Misc:
Added note to redeemables tab in Cash Shop to show that lets players know that they can only redeem on the US-1 Server. This is not region locking, just a limitation in the redeemable database. Anyone can log into US-1 and should have acceptable pings.
Adjusted the monster respawn rate to work with increased server load.
Added Cash Shop button next to the chat window.
Remove the “Steal” option when right clicking players.
Steam Early Access Launch
Greetings, players!
We are less than 24 hours from our Early Access Launch on Steam! Wow can’t believe we are there, I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know of some key information for launch:
Release Time: Currently we are shooting for release at 12:00 PM (PST) 5/5/16. If something happens or we need to move the time we will promptly notify everyone via this news section.
Servers: We have multiple servers ready to go, and can shift the population as we need to best accommodate the influx of players. As we do so we just ask that you are patient if servers experience issues at launch, as we will be moving diligently to address anything that comes up.
Up To Date News: We will post any big announcements here (Patch Notes / Server Maintenance / Etc), if you want to get in the moment updates Twitter will be where we are sharing that information Twitter Link.
Lastly I just want to thank everyone that has helped us get to this point. We are a small team of 3 developers and we are excited to share our life work with you all.
