Based on some analysis from first impressions I've prepared patch with many fixes.
Most critical bug with "Game Restart" is also solved.
There are still some to fix, keep working on that...
Thank you.
Hot Fix 1.0.1
Hi Folks!
Please update your game, there is hot fix for "restart". I'm still analyzing, watching gameplays and polishing at the same time... Thank you.
I'm aware about Issues.
Hello guys!
I'm aware about bugs, people constantly informing me about, already working on them.
Just in case, if something goes wrong, like spawn out of the ship, please delete SaveData file in "UserData" folder in game path, and restart the game, or start game by click "New story" in main menu.
Thanks for understanfing
Cheers,
Alex
Ready?
I know you are waiting for this, so am I guys!
From 20th February I'm officially and finally have full access to my new developer account, so I can finally upload version 1.0. and soon it's there it will be released.
Thank you all for your patience, support and understanding.
"Far-Out story" article is also ready and it will be posted a little bit later after release, just can't find time to handle everything simultaneously, but hardly trying.
Before this day, there were only several people that have tried to play the game, and quite old version compares to current one. I hope for your benevolence.
Be patient. It's coming.
Don't Panic!
Hello Everyone!
Unfortunately I'm experiencing an issue with Steam account and at the moment I don't have access to new developer account to make app transfer and release the game on time.
This happened because some of the information from 2015 on my account wasn't correct and currently Steam support, helping me to make the new one.
Postpone is not for months or years, its a matter of week!
So, It's going to take about a week (as they said) before I can set up game build and release it properly.
Don't Panic!

FAR OUT News!
Hello Everyone!
First of all, thank you for following Far-Out project, it is very stimulating! and sorry for being quiet for a long time, it is because I'm working really-REALLY hard to make it as much unique and polished as possible. I'd rather spend more time on development than writing news posts. But today, I feel like it’s a good time to do it and here is something I've got for you.
Date! As you might have noticed, the release date is finally set, 7th February(edit: moved to 9th), to be honest, it is not much to keep development smooth, but I've decided to push myself harder to bring this game experience to you asap. Still have some time and I'll do my best to prepare everything till release date.
Project! Currently I’m working on polishing and replacing some obsolete elements which provoke to create some things from scratch, but believe me it is very necessary.
From time to time working on a “Far-Out” story which is representing information about whole 3 years of development. It will be published before release and of course, you will be the first ones who will see it!
Also, there is a new awesome game Art by Andrew Dubrovsky and absolutely new, amazing soundtrack by Michael Donner which is not yet listed in original playlist, but is already in the game, I promise, you’re going to LOVE it!
Optimization, I’ve spent years on keeping project well optimized and still be visually competitive with any other good games...still testing, optimizing.
Save option. Over years of development I did revise my view about Save option and decided that with current duration and mechanics this option will be very helpful for the players. Long Live Save!
There are much more to tell about, but now I have to get back to work! Stay tuned and share if you like it! I'll be back soon!
Alex
It Hurts!
Hello guys!
Thank you all for being with me!
Let me share some information about the current state of development. Most of the planned features are completed + some additional things that were just in "nice to have feature" list. Daily testing the game for any possible issues and daily working on every small error that appears during that process.
Constantly working on optimization that takes a lot of time and power, but before I'll make sure it's playable and there are no blockers, I can't step over myself and release something that is not ready... I really want to bring something new to the industry and make you have fun while playing it.
Currently preparing materials for "Far-Out development" story, to find any press coverage. Story will include inside information of all 3 development years with some personal conclusions. Link will be posted here or on my twitter page.
Project's concept information has been upgraded and it will be updated soon on Steam Store page also. Keep moving!
Your patience is highly appreciated!
See you soon,
Alex.

Spooky!
Do you guys know what spooky means? This is when you reading in-game comic book about this game, and one of the main characters is you.
----------Some news-----------
I've decided to open Patreon page, trying to find finances for Vive VR to be able to debug, I'm not asking for money, it's more like experiment. Leave it here just in case https://www.patreon.com/EscapismArtworks
It's getting closer!
Alright!
Sorry again for being quiet, but I'm very busy with daily job and personal development, that hardly can find some time to write anything about ongoing processes.
It's getting closer! still testing, still have some bugs, VR performance issues, but everything is getting better and of course more polished and accurate. Believe me guys, I'm very impassioned to finish this project and release it asap, it's been almost 3 years of prototyping, testing, debugging, re-making, re-modeling, re-Texturing, re-animating, at last developing by my own. In our days Steam Treading cards are under review, finalizing subtitles localization, as also debugging Gamepad support. I know, I have promised to release the game this summer, but it looks like it will be postponed to beginning of September, please forgive me that, but all these effort just because I want to prepare a truly complete experience with all features on board.
See you soon!
Far-Out News!
Hello Guys,
Hope you are all doing fine. Here are some news I want to share about current development state of the Far-Out project. At this moment some of critical bugs were finally smashed and I keep moving in standard flow. The game contains some animations of the main character and it took me a time to compose fresh idea how to avoid motion sickness effect, so finally it has moderate comfort to play with VR. Currently polishing main menu navigation to make it more adapted for gamepad controller.
Next week, Tuesday/Wednesday will be CBT!!! First time when someone actually going to play the game through. Very fascinating day to me.
