Hi! This week marks the beginning of the new event, the Sweet Tooth Festival to celebrate the new year.
The sweetest time of the year has arrived! Plant hundreds of Candy Canes to unlock stunning winter themed items. Ho ho ho!
With this we're taking a short vacation so no updates will be delivered in the following two weeks. We'll still be around on the forums and the Discord channel, but we won't be as active as usual. Enjoy!

Update #13 - Ostriches!
Hi!
Today's update brings a new animal to the farm, the Ostriches (in 3 possible variations). They are high level animals with medium wait times.
Also, the Christmas event is around the corner! We hope you'll enjoy it and unlock plenty of themed items while having fun!

New features:
New animals: Ostrich , Emu and Rhea.
Improvements:
Reduced volume of the tractor's interaction sound so it's not as annoying.
Bugfixes:
Fixed a bug where favorites/recent players weren't being properly saved depending on how they were favorited (~85% of the cases they weren't saved properly). This would lead to players not showing up as favorites or in the recent/favorites searches.
This means you'll need to manually add your favorites again, apologies!
Update #12 - Jalapeño & Ginger Packs available now!
Hi! This week's update features a hefty amount of new content, as well as the release of two new content packs, the mexican-themed Jalapeño Pack and the China-themed Ginger Pack!
We're also adding new Spice crops such as Peppercorn.

Hi!
Today's update comes with a few flowers and trees producing a new resource - Spices. We're also adding a few more beach decorations for you to place around, and 3 new gestures to pose in your pictures!
Don't forget that the Fishing Contest event is in its final days! Make sure to complete it before it ends.

Update #9 - Beach decorations!
Hi!
Today's update brings a handful of beach decorations, such as the shower or the Beach Bar table, so you can better decorate the area surrounding your Sardines and Bass!

Added new clothing colors (the ones that were tied to male/female body) to the Fishing Contest event. If you already had unlocked that tier, they will be unlocked as soon as you start the game (the event needs to be still active).

Added some fixed environment reflections that should improve looks on Low detail settings.
Bugfixes:
The "player joined" sound will not be played after loading the farm.
Fixed fences and roads being inconsistent when placed on water (fences would separate the land, but roads would not).
Update #8 - Fishing Contest!
Hi! Today's update brings the new event, that will start in a few hours!
The Annual Fishing Tournament is officially underway! Get your best gear in your tackle box and unlock new refreshing items!
This event should require less effort than the one we did in Halloween, and should be equally demanding to newcomers as well as seasoned farmers!

Update #6 - Durian & Goji Berries!

This week's update brings a number of quality of life improvements to the table, along with a couple of new items, the Durian tree and the Goji berries!

New features:
Houses can now be recycled. Two confirmation dialogs will be shown, and half of the money will be recovered (from the base price, the construction stages paid, and the house contents).
Improvements:
Guestbook: Now the items in the log are sorted from newest to oldest. Also you can select each line and see their profile, favorite or block the player.
You can now keep the interaction button held down to work on contiguous tiles while walking. For example when plowing/planting, or when placing roads.
Gameplay changes:
Flowers with grow length over 2 days won't be selected for quests.
Experience: Reduced experience obtained from planting trees, animals and flowers. Increased experience obtained from harvesting them.
Some items were giving too much experience that could be easily exploited by placing and recycling them right away. With this, items give a bit more experience in the long run, without being as exploitable.
Oyster, Mussel and Clam: Their experience values weren't properly set (they were way too low). Now they have more reasonable values.
Reduced exchange rate for gold nuggets->tickets.
Since farmhands can find gold nuggets, the exchange rate of 5 tickets per nugget meant they could self-sustain and even become a better source of tickets than performing jobs. With this change, they can probably be still self-sustained, but at least it will require more gold nuggets to do so.
Bugfixes:
Ponds bigger than 10,000 will be reorganized into smaller parts of up to 2,000 tiles each.
This was done in the previous update but not enforced for ponds created previously. Now it's enforced upon load to help fix some internal engine problems that were causing crashes in excessively big ponds.
Fixed a possible security exploit that could allow visitors to perform tasks they didn't have permissions for.
As far as we know, this exploit was never found or used, as it required patching the game code to work.
Fixed resources shown when harvesting not doubling if the player had the Boost meter active (only visual, the resources were actually being doubled).
Fixed farmhands not showing the money pop-up in the proper place when fishing on Ponds.
Fixed Ducks physics settings that would drop performance severely when many of them were being shown.
Fixed recycling house decorations on top of surfaces not giving any money back.
Added a check that should help with mantaining the synchronization between farm visitors. Should help with the "different quests for owner and visitors" case.
