Here's an addition to yesterday's big patch (0.68). Just a couple of smaller things ironed out. :)

- Sitting down on bench or to milk a cow disables current work mode (hides tools and scaffolds)
- Selecting tools or scaffold while sitting causes player to stand up to work
- Fixed exiting ingame menus like shops or chests disabling ambient music
- Ability to sit on stuff (chairs, couches) in the house
- Fixed wife's blanked
- Improved baby crib
- Fixed bug of improving/rebuilding basement entrance
- A set of internal improvements and optimisations

0.68, 2018 03 15 (Ambient Update)

Hi guys, we're sorry that this updated finally settled rather late in the week. Unfortunately we had some huge issues with anims, but without furhter redo - here we go with the changelog:

Ambient
- Introduced named map districts. Names are displayed when entering a district.
- Ability to sit down on benches (3rd person camera)
- Sitting down restores player stamina slowly to a certain level (max. is 70%) - the lower the condition, the faster it restores
- Sitting by a lit fire changes the camera and increases stamina max. resting level to 90% - it is better to rest by a camp fire
- Milking cows from the external camera, player seen in 3rd person with proper animation
- Milked cow stands up, does not lie down
- Properly hidden tools while milking/sitting
- Ambient music tracks added
- Ambient music tracks are different during the day and during the night
- Ambient music has different play modes, selectable in options menu (none, triggered by a game event, repeat)
- Disabling ambient music only does not disable the whole music, the jingles (quests, day times, achievements) will still play.
- To disable all music, use the music loudness, as it was.
- Increased range NPCs can travel to places of interests (churches, fishing spots, relax places)
- Rebalanced chances and targets for NPCs depending on days of week - they should stay home (and work) more during workdays, and travel more on Saturdays/Sundays
- Pregnant models for all possible women (wives)
- Fixed incoherences between pregnant and normal women for all possible wives

Farm Overview
- TAB menu now features a button to start Farm Statistics info menu

NOTE: It gathers vital information about our farm (animals, greenhouse, crops) and highlights actions that should be made (stuff to gather or harvest, some to buy etc.). Some of the stats are dynamic, for instance for fields only crops that player actually has growing will be displayed - Same thing for seeds.

Additional
- Fertiliser usage for new machines reduced in half (with the same field efficiency)
- Manure capacity (for home storage) set to 50 tons
- Daily manure produced by cows increased by 50%
- Fixed street lamps texture mapping
- Better, more open chute for spilling grain for sale
- Ability to put tiles under the door in the basement
- Ability to put tiles in the basement floor
- Staircase to the basement can be rebuild with new wood

Greenhouse:
- added hydrosystem to player greenhouse
- added player greenhouse internal humidity. Humidity is affecting plants growing in the greenhouse, it cannot be too high nor too low.
- there is a visual humidity indicator inside of the greenhouse (arrow with scale). The arrow accurately shows humidity for a given moment.
- player is able to turn on watering manually to increase humidity if it is too low.
- watering system will turn off automatically if humidity reaches high levels.
- if not watering, greenhouse humidity will tend to level with external (world) humidity - it will increase if it rains outside and decrease if it is hot and warm. However this process depends on a number of windows and doors open. The more of these open, the faster humidity will level out. If all of them are closed, however, this will take days.
- internal humidity limits depend on number of doors and windows open/closed. If most are closed, it will never reach maximum humidity, nor total dryness. If most are open, however, it is possible to totally wet or dry the insides of a greenhouse (depending on outside weather).
- greenhouse watering does cost (not much, but some nonetheless). It is possible to keep greenhouse closed at all times, and water it manually once every few days. However if cost is a problem, one can catch rain inside by opening windows, and then close them to keep humidity inside. Or open windows to lower humidity on sunny weather, if humidity is too high.
- greenhouse vegetables actually continually grow (increase numbers of potential crops) if humidity is good, and decrease potential crops if humidity is bad. So it is good to keep windows and doors closed and control the humidity every once in a while.
- proper FX for greenhouse showering
- detailed rain also for medium video settings (3D rain drops on camera)
- when in greenhouse during watering, water drops appear on camera as well (if settings allow this).
- greenhouse side windows no longer have handles as these don't open. Only top (roof) windows open.
- greenhouse still has penalty if not totally fixed - even if humidity is ideal, not fixed greenhouse will deliver decreased crops.

- Player kitchen operational.
- Wife can cook 3rd level (delicious) meals if there are ingredients in the pantry. Make sure there are always some basic foods in the pantry, or she'll have nothing to cook from.
- The wider variety of basic food in pantry, the better chance she will cook something good. For instance she won't make pizza out of stawberries - she needs mushrooms or tomatoes to make pizza.
- Meals cooked by wife are stored back in pantry.
- Player can use kitchen himself (if it is not occupied by wife).
- Player can cook 2nd level (canned) meals himself.
- Player can choose what he wants to cook in a proper menu.
- Player uses his own inventory items to cook, and cooked items appear back in his inventory (not in pantry, like the wife's).
- Cooking takes 5 seconds, with a proper progress bar.
- Proper info on end of cooking.
- Wife can gather eggs during the day, if these were not picked up by player.
- Wife can milk cows during the day, if cows have not been milked by player.
- Eggs and milk gathered by wife are stored in pantry.
- Proper icon and description for player kitchen.
- Wife goes to kitchen randomly if good weather, but tends to stay there if raining.
- Wife does not go to kitchen if player is cooking himself.
- Fixed rare bug of multiplying NPC attachments.

Love Life
- Made sure it's always sunny during wedding ceremony.
- Easier gain of personal "likeness" for each specific NPC.
- Changed weights between quests, compliments and gifts increasing personal "likeness" towards player, required to marry a lady.
- Different "likeness" weights for men and women NPCs, also different with regards to quests and other social points increasing game aspects.
- Lowered threshold of personal "likeness" required to give a gift.
- Lowered threshold of personal "likeness" required to marry a lady.
- Rebalanced weight params for likeness increasing curve.
- Temporarily removed slow decreasing of personal "likeness" towards player when NPC's not seeing player for a longer time.
- Time between accepted compliments reduced to 1 hr real time.
- Accepted compliment fondness towards player increased by 150%.
- Fondness towards player increased by gifts still depends on gift "class" and price, but is increased by 50% in general.
- Giving unwanted gift doesn't cancel gift dialog option for a given day. Player can try again until he finds something worth giving.
- Gifts are accepted based on game time, not real time (another day, another gift).
- Fixed bug of wife sleeping through day if player was too far away.
- Wife AI is properly assigned to player's yard and farm, she properly uses players henhouse, gardens, kitchen.
- Improvements to wife AI regarding recognizing player farm movement path generation
- Wife now monitors basic stats of the farm (buildings, pantry, hen, cows, kids rooms) and may inform player if something needs taking care of.
NOTE: She needs to be asked in order to do so though.

Additonal
- Further improvements to field work and terrain physics after field work.
- Adjusted plow depths (both visual and physical) for better and easier work.
- Number of smaller level fixes (flying trees and such).
- Small rearrangements for player yard and garden flowers.
- Improvements to player farm path system, removed few blockades and dead path ends.

Hi guys, as we were finally able to track down that nasty bug which many have reported, we decided to have a Hotfix today:

- Fixed old & tricky bug of improperly loading materials of rebuilt parts from save (for instance Wood Glaze was turning to metal on doors).
- Krampe K500 set to 16 tons of capacity.
- Proper heights of grains on trailers.
- Different (properly) looking corn and canola grains on trailers.
- Fixed misplaced boiler in cow barn.

Hi guys, coming back to content updates after the big maintence sessions. Here we go:

Vehicles:
- New vehicle: Lindner 94 (a bit smaller and cheaper).
- New vehicle: Square baler (modern).
- New vehicle: Krampe Big Body 500 grain trailer.

Music:
- New music for menu and wedding ceremony.
- New music jingle for quest complete.
- New music jingle for achievement unlocked.
- New music jingles for waking up.

Quests:
- New NPC quest class: Cultivation orders.

Wildlife:
- Added mushrooms (4 different) and wild strawberries to pick up.

NOTES: Mushrooms and strawberries grow in forest areas (where animals also tend to be). Mushrooms and strawberries can be eaten or sold. Mushrooms tend to hide in the grass (not always, but they do) - walk slowly and look carefully, as in real life. Mushrooms and strawberries can be a bit better visible using ES (not too much though, not too make these easy). Mushrooms and strawberries grow back after 24 days, but in slightly different places.

Additional:
- Objects picked up to inventory that have panel message (eggs, milk, fish, mushrooms, strawberries) have their icon included in panel message as well.
- Player's overall condition (eat+sleep) has to be 50% or more for the NPC quest dialog option to appear. But even if condition was less, markers were still present on map and above NPC head.
With lack of actual dialog option this was confusing. So - if overall condition is less than 50%, NPC quest markers do not show.
- If player overall condition is smaller than 30%, he has dialog option to ask for food instead of asking for work.
- Adjusted rotation vel of old plough wheel.
- Adjusted params of plow affecting (turning) the tractor - smaller tractors were difficult to drive.
- Adjusted friction of front wheels while plowing - tractors should be easier to drive and control during field work.
- Fixed mysterious shadow reappearing while plowing.
- Some optimisations to shadow render.
- Fixed weird bug of player hen multiplying after game load (in the same spot).
- Fixed weird AI bug of sometimes cloning some NPCs after load.
- Adjusted overbright fogs in the morning.
- Adjusted overbright sun reflection params in the morning.
- More natural intensity and colours of sky haze.
- Atmospheric scattering params and colours fit sky haze more, horizon much better aligning with sky now, especially in low sun lighting conditions.
- Numerous world fixes (flying trees, dense areas).
- Improved foliage density, especially in forest areas.
- Fixed wrong text at the end of Claras plowing and cultivating quest (only for new games though).
- Fixed wrong colours and dirty param propagation for few trailer parts.
- Fixed rotations for trailer pistons.

Hi guys, this is another maintenance update to further stabilize the base of the game as much as possible. This should be the last of those before getting back to bigger updates brimmed with content. This time addressing possible save game failures mainly of older saves (missing buildings, missing building parts). Here's the changelog:

- Number of ingame fixes to alter game saves with damaged building system hierarchy (it was fixed some patches ago, but some people may have their files damaged still)
- Game should be able to read damaged building data without crashing. If such a file is damaged though, building parts will be missing. This can be then recovered manually.
- If player is within a building (and not on a vehicle), the building can be reset to it's initial state using a TAB menu. This allows to fix the damaged building errors, as it recovers all the building data from the original file. Also this can be used to reset the building and then rebuild it differently even if game files are intact.

NOTE: You will not be receiving more SP for resetting and rebuilding your farm buildings again, sorry. :)

- Added automatic option to fix damaged building save state:

  • If your saved game buildings are missing/incomplete, in the load option menu select check file integrity.
  • If it finds building system bugs, it will attempt to restore damaged buildings from the original game files.
  • If restored, buildings will be in the original (old) state, not fixed - but operational, with all the parts restored.
  • This does not pull back main quest lines that depended on these buildings being fixed.
  • Due to heavily relying on compression and managing large data chunks on disk, it may last up to a minute - please be patient.
  • This does not fix other saved game states. If you have damaged disk file system and main save file is damaged itself, there is no real way to restore it.

Additional

- Fixed calculation and physics params for turning wheels. In short, vehicles drive straight when the steering wheel is straight, and all the different side forces are cleared.
- Better wheel handling in higher speeds, resulting in reduced oversteering.

Hi guys, as we were held up with maintenance we'll need to restructure the content flow a little bit. That is why we roll out single features from various planned updates a bit chaotically. But without further redo - here's the changelog:

Fishing Update - Part 2
- Treasure chests operational, contain few goods initially
- Removed icon from a treasure chest (a bit harder to find)
- Treasure chests save/load properly
- Changed location of treasure chests in the world

Timeflow Update - Part 1
- Town square populated, with properly generates pathways
- Added new class of NPC quests: private transport (picking up and delivering a parcel)

Additional gameplay changes
- Reduced max. speed of the van
- John restocks missing items in the morning (with some probability)
- Improved icon for home fuel storage
- Map now shows descriptions of NPCs quests under their '!' marks

Bug fixes
- Fixed bug of quest target markers hanging in the air sometimes (when they were supposed to show a faraway NPC)
- Fixed several vehicles after calling tow truck (help) were hanging in the air
- Fixed bugs of NPCs sometimes stuck in each other
- Fixed for player truck dashboard looks and speed display
- Fixed Bus stop near the church
