We are proud to unleash the “World’s Largest Farm Tractor” to Farming Simulator 17 in the Big Bud Pack! This larger-than-life DLC, giving players access to two Big Bud tractors and 12 pieces of equipment, is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC/Mac.
In the Big Bud Pack DLC, you will drive for the first time in a Farming Simulator game the monstrous Big Bud 747 tractor (the World's Largest Farm Tractor!), its smaller brother the Big Bud 450, and 12 of the most enormous pieces of farming equipment ever made from brands including Bednar, Great Plains, Grégoire-Besson, Seed Hawk and more.
These new tools and tractors will allow players to work their fields with incredible speed and efficiency, thanks to a huge working width of up to 25 meters.
Please note that the base game of Farming Simulator 17 is required for players to access this DLC.

Farming Simulator prides itself in its meticulous attention to detail. Every vehicle’s interior and exterior is faithfully recreated in Farming Simulator 17 thanks to loyal partnerships between GIANTS and the vehicle brands.
Some of the vehicles and equipment can be customized: engines, wheels and other pieces and accessories can be replaced to adapt to specific activities, such as equipping a front loader to handle bales, for example. You can also change the color of some of your vehicles so that you’re always driving around in style.
The game now also offers players the option to rent vehicles and tools. Should there be a specific need for a particular piece of equipment which is too expensive to buy, players can rent machines for a lower initial price, and pay affordable operation costs during the rental period.
Last but not least, players can now tune into Farming Simulator 17’s radio stations while working the field. In your vehicles, you’ll have access to multiple radio stations spanning several genres like Country, Rock, and Pop. PC players can also listen to their own MP3 files or favorite web stations and plug them into their Farming Simulator radio!

Today's video will showcase the two train lines you can make use of as you travel along the railroads of Goldcrest Valley. Trains can be driven manually on these tracks.

The train is the fastest way to deliver your produce in large quantities. You will find several areas on the map that will allow you to stock, transfer or sell your grain and wood harvests directly from trains.
Silos hold your grain, while conveniently placed heavy-duty cranes will allow you to transfer wood between trains or unload it at the sawmill to be processed and sold.
Both lines meet at a central point in the playable area, where you will have the opportunity to transfer goods from one train to the other.
For example, you might need to transport wood across half of the map, transfer it to the second train line, then transport it the other half to Stanton Sawmill where you can process it into wood chips and sell it.
There is no risk of losing cargo, as the wagons are equipped with convenient fastening belts to ensure stability of your product.

Tending To Animals

Players who properly tend to their animals will be able to bring in more income for their farms! Fresh straw for bedding and suitable food for each animal's diet means more wool from sheep flocks and more milk produced by cow herds.
Each animal requires a specially crafted diet, with a careful balance between different food types which you can grow yourself on your own farm. Many vehicles and tools, including many new pieces of equipment, are dedicated to the tending of animals - a selection of which you can see in the trailer.
Keep the feeding areas tidy and clean, properly feed and water your animals, and offer them fresh bedding regularly. Doing this will cause your animals' happiness to raise, maximizing their levels of reproduction. Keeping up with these needs means smart farmers can make a good profit by buying small groups of animals, then selling them in larger numbers after they multiply!

Next week will be Gamescom 2016 in Köln, Germany! This event is always a landmark for Farming Simulator - the game has been met there with huge success for the past 7 years, gathering hundreds of thousands of German players who constitute an important core of our passionate community.
Because of this, Gamescom 2016 is a perfect opportunity for Farming Simulator 17 to return to the spotlight and meet its German audience! Like previous years, attendees can access and play a preview version of the new game, at our huge Farming Simulator booth (Hall 8 – B41). Attendees will also be able to try Farming Simulator 17 on the PlayStation booth.

Among these new features, livestock farming gets even richer, with the introduction of a new animal type: pigs. The transportation system has also been significantly deepened, with a new railway system featuring drivable trains, giving players an alternative way of transporting a large variety and quantity of goods between different production and selling spots, located in the new environment: Goldcrest Valley.
