Episode 3 just released!

Phew, finally, Finally, FINALLY Episode 3 has been released!
Man that took far longer than it should have.

By the way, along with Episode 3, I made some additional fixes to the previous two Episodes as well.

-Fixed the audio problem where it wasn't saving to your Profile file whenever you adjusted the volume.
-Fixed a problem where, if you CREATE a Profile file, it wouldn't save properly until you quit and reloaded.
-Optimized the inventory slots object (just some behind-the-scenes coding, you won't see any difference).
-Ethrea's text is now a shade of blue on the title screen.
-Added the option to have white text on black instead of black text on grey.
-Added Save and Load buttons in the menu bar.

I'd also like to address why Episode 1 is now available for free on the website (and itch.io), but not here.
Apparently we wouldn't be able to keep the trading cards, and the reputation for free games on Steam is that they're, ugh, "free to play," a nice sounding term for an absolutely terrible thing that I PROMISE I will NEVER EVER create or release ANY games like that.

So that's why it still costs money here, but don't blame Steam for this, because the decision was still mine to make, I just wanted to explain why I made it.

Episode 3 release date information

Happy June 20th! It's the one year anniversary of Farnham Fables (Tape 1) being on Steam (and the two year anniversary of Episode 1 being released on itch.io)!

To start with, I've fixed a few things in Episode 2, so, well, that's what that update is all about.

It primarily fixes three major things:
-Fixed volume issue with first meeting cow
-Added more directions at school
-The stick now shows up in the ending if you left it there

As for Episode 3, the planned release date is September 28th (Eric's birthday), though I'm gonna try and see if I can get it released sooner (I figure, better to have a late release date and possibly release it early than have an earlier release date and need more time).

Here's hoping my health stays good and doesn't delay things again (seriously, this should've been done months ago).

Episode 2 just released!

Goodness me! It appears that Episode 2 has been "leaked" a day early! Well, since that's to be expected in any entertainment business, there you go! Hope everyone enjoys it!

Though, I would like to add that, as this is the "First Edition" being released, don't be too shocked if you manage to find any little errors with possible interactions we might have missed testing. The game was vigorously tested all throughout production, but only by three people, two of which having their own lives and projects outside of this, with the other one being, well, me, eh heh.

Now to get working on Episode 3 (and fixing any issues with previous Episodes that are brought to my attention)! Or maybe I'll finally get to updating the Ethrea Dreams website first. Certainly a lot of work needed there, that's for sure.

Episode 2 release date information

Episode 2 is scheduled to be released on August 22nd (my mother's birthday). It's set the day after Episode 1, and involves a family of non-native lizard people who own a farm.

For those wondering, it doesn't involve any of the characters from Episode 1, other than a brief sighting of Naigye and Cally in the beginning. Don't worry, current plans have them back for a major role in Episode 8, where they'll even meet Rachael and Gloria.

Work on Episode 3 will begin as soon as Episode 2 is released, and will be about Prince Philip rounding up some animals that got loose in a school.
