Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star

Update 8/25/17

Another update today!
  • Mistranslated install skills in English have been corrected.

We are still looking into crashes and problems unlocking "With Regalia in Hand." If the game is still crashing for you please let us know! Crash dumps are especially useful: support@xseedgames.com

If you could send us your DxDiag along with a screenshot of your launcher settings that would be very helpful. Also let us know when and where the crash occurred.

If there are crash dump files available to send to us, that could also be useful:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
Replace [USERNAME] with your Windows username. It would be from game.exe.

You can also check your event viewer logs for information:
1. Register the date and time of the error.
2. Type ‘event’ into the Search Windows box.
3. Open Event Viewer and allow it to load.
4. Select Application events on the left pane.
5. Look for the event related to your crash (probably marked with an error icon)
6. Highlight and copy the text in the lower half of the middle pane to send to us.

Update 8/14/17

Thank you all for your patience as we get these fixes out!
  • Fixed one of the issues causing crashes for players
  • Fixed animation bug at 1440p

We're still looking into other bugs, including "With Regalia in Hand" not unlocking.

If you experienced either of these issues, please let us know if you are still experiencing them! The developers suspect there may be different causes behind the crashes for some players, so if you experience one be sure to send us more info: support@xseedgames.com. Our developers found the crash dumps especially helpful.

We really appreciate all the help you're giving us!

Update 8/10/17

Today's update includes a fix for the display names of DLC in Korean and Chinese. We've also noted that the "With Regalia in Hand" achievement is not unlocking properly and should have a fix for that soon.

We just want to let you all know we're definitely aware of crash issues affecting certain users and are working hard to try and find a solution for you guys. Unfortunately, we have not been able to recreate the crashes on any of our test PC's so it is extremely difficult for us to pinpoint the source of the issue. If you have any more information for us, please send it to support@xseedgames.com.
