Fear of Nightmares: Madness Descent

Minor Tweaks

- Made cursor active by default on menu screen to avoid confusion.

- Made cursor disabled by default on intro screen as to not break the immersion.

As always I'm exited to hear your response to these changes and any feedback you may have. Have a nice day :D

Major Update!

As requested by multiple players following fixes have been done to the game:

- Lighting have been changed to help players with spotting monsters as well as walking around more easily.

- The new game option will no longer load the game if the save was done in the first scene.

- Stairs as well as entrances to buildings have recieved customized colliders to allow the player to more easily walk through said places.

- A few textures have been updated to match the characteristics of the game.

- "Object sight" has been toggled off by default in order to not break the immersion of the game but can be toggled on with the R key as stated previously.

As always i look forward to hearing your thoughts about these changes. Or if anyone has managed to complete the game yet ^^

Anyways, wish you all a nice day :D

Guide and splatscreen controls now available!

Hey all,

As most people realized when trying this game out is that the controls as well as monster behaviour can be confusing to new players. Therefore I have added a video guide that can be watched both from the steam client under the guides section or on youtube if you prefer.

Another new thing added is the so called splatscreen which is a screen to show controls etc. This screen can be toggled on and off with the escape button.

As always I'm looking forward to hearing your responses, feedback, questions etc.

Have fun ^^

New Update Finished

The following things have changed in this build:

- All objects that can be picked up or interacted with have now a yellow outline that can also be seen through walls, this effect can be toggled of and on with the "R" button.

- A new invisible wall have been added in order to prevent certain confusion.

Other things to note:

- Preventing wall jumps have not been added however due to certain hills being very steep and the only solution as i see it is to disable the jump function entirely.

- Certain doors as well as so called "hidden objects" does not have an outline, the reason is that the doors are mostly obvious on the places they are used. And the reason the hidden objects are hidden is well... you probably guessed it, they are not required to unlock the standard ending of the game.

As always i look forward to hearing your feedback. Have fun ^^

Fear Of Nightmares: Madness Descent has now been released
