Apologies for the silence following the crazy release. I've been issuing minor updates here and there but never really addressed the bigger issues as noted by the community. Also, a slight delay on my end as I've been starting a new job.
Here are the patch notes for everything in this big update titled "Resurrection":
- Completely revamped tutorial – now easier than ever to jump in and start playing!
- Added a new Journal system – view active missions and objectives so you're never lost!
- Added greater functionality to the pause menu – you can now open the map, swap weapons, and view the instructions again!
- Added an Easy Mode that highlights hidden objects, starts off the player with more items, and enables auto-saving by default!
- Added an option to enable and disable auto-saving.
- Changed the map to make certain doors more visible.
- Fixed a fatal bug which caused saved files unable to be reloaded due to a code conflict.
- Fixed a crash due to an audio file being renamed in a previous update.
- Fixed a crash due to image files being renamed in a previous update.
- Weights puzzle is now solvable when an incorrect combination is entered the first time. This was due to the weights total not being reset.
- Weights puzzle has been simplified so it no longer requires a maths degree to solve.
- General code refinements; more streamlined, uniform code; no longer two separate builds for PC and mobile.
- Fixed some minor spelling and grammatical errors.
- Replaced some out-of-date and default sprites to the current tileset.
As always, any bugs and issues please let me know in the community, I promise to try to be more active there! Hopefully, this addresses the major issues raised by players.
I've probably missed some things, it's difficult testing as a one-man team, along with doing everything else.
