New game launcher & Cheatmod
For now you will be asked whether you want to launch the game old way or with the launcher.
As we're slowly adding modding and extensions support, the launcher comes with simple solution to DLL modding. The launcher is also targeting .Net4.8 so required framework will be automatically downloaded and installed if missing.
Cheatmod
Cheats as used to be in game are now only enabled with the cheatmod, as to prevent accidentally using them and then not being able to finish achievements.
Cheats currently in game are:
L + I = add points
L + U = level up / fill stomach in survival mode
D + X = kill self
F4 = ON/OFF - AI takes control over your fish ( we've been using this to debug behaviors, but then it's quite useful or fun to play with )
Modding - current state
Currently modded DLLs can be placed into custom folder inside the "/Mods/" folder located in the games local files.
Those with "Assembly-CSharp.dll" (if checked) will temporary rewrite "/Feed and Grow_Data/ManagedAssembly-CSharp.dll" with the one inside the mod folder, and so the game will be launched with that dll.
In close future we will be adding content modding via Unity Assetbundles downloaded by steam workshop. So far we're planning to implement custom maps, scenarios, fish and their skins. A complete guide to creating mods (DLL and Content) with examples will be published as soon as steam workshop gets turned on.
Thanks, As always, looking forward to next update!

Update 0.13
Update 0.13
In today's update, we're coming out with first steps into Coral Reef map ( previously called Ocean map ). Which we are transforming into survival friendly form. Additionally after months of hard work with our pals Grand Beats we're proud to show off first major step towards new amazing music and sound effects.
Jump-in and let us know what do you think!
Coral Reef map changes
One of the biggest challenges towards Survival mode was the overall ecosystem of the Reef map. Over time we filled it with a lot of different species that had no / very little participation in the overall food chain.
Some were removed some added, so far. Yet the kind of the ocean keeps it's throne.
Dunkleosteus - removed
three new Parrotfish - added ( so far they only differ randomly in coloration )
Blue Tang and new three Tang fish - added
Butterfly fish - added
Cuttlefish - added
Small destroy-able mollusk-like food - removed
Sea urchin - added ( deals damage on contact ! )
New animated light
Onward to the better, yet keeping the old feeling, we've updated the behavior of the most predators in the Reef map. This includes Moray eel, Grouper goliath, Barracudas and both Tiger and Hammerhead sharks. The main problem we've been facing was to create a focused role for each kind of fish. Eels correctly hide in crevices. Sharks seek and target meaty prey. Barracudas collectively strike upon smaller schools of fish.
Did you know? Bibos was originally meant to be the single-one Big-Boss of the map. However that shark eventually took over that role, as he had better resolution model :D.
Goliath - new model & better stats
Hammerhead - new model & better stats
New Audio
Finally first audio rework is here! All thanks to amazing work by the Grand Beats who did all the work on music composition and sound effects. The best thing is there's more to come!
After this update audio settings will be reset to 75%
Big shout out for them and their amazing work!
Other changes & bug fixes
New lighting and animations in Fish select, you can now rotate and zoom on to fish model by holding LMB and moving the cursor / scrolling with MMB
Increased the power of Brightness slider setting in Graphics by 3 times
Fixed / adjusted random fish movement, that caused some very active fish to shake when idling or resting
FIxed a bug where King crab and his countless army would attack their own spawned eggs
Fixed crabs movement bugs when ragdolls were ON
Fixed mantis shrimp walk / swim bugs when ragdolls were ON
Reduced mantis shrimp damage by -66% and adjusted his attacking behavior
That's all for today, have fun, looking forward to next Update!
Update 0.12
Are you prepared to face what it takes to survive in the Swamp? Hatch, eat, grow and secure bright future for your offspring. Sounds easy? Take a look at what can get into your way! As the swamp water levels always change you are put in front of annoying competitors, hungry predators and tempting rewards. Observe your environment and take advantages of it.
Survival changes Digestion & Healing processes in survival mode have been changed to appear earlier and slow down when your fish is moving. AI will no longer gain experience instantly after eating, instead attempt to rest and digest the food.
Dead-match Since many of you have ask for this feature, coins gained in dead-match mode will now be saved with upper limit of 1000 per map. The limit is added so the gameplay won't lose the risk/gain element.
