We pushed our first patch today and it is available for download now. As with all Steam games by default, Final Approach will be updated automatically to get you the latest features, bug fixes, and improvements!

Added Instant Zoom Out Button: Pressing the menu button on the Right Vive Controller will instantly zoom you out of any zoom point without needing to open the Flypad.
Added voice over to tutorial teaching how to use the instant zoom out button.
Mission 15: Added drop off indicator to aircraft carrier that appears when a helicopter is carrying people.
Mission 15: Helicopter magnetic cables automatically drop people off when near aircraft carrier drop off position.
Final Approach-Price Adjustment
We launched Final Approach late Monday night on the eve of the launch for HTC Vive. Going into an undefined market, we priced the game based on the general expectations expressed by the market and with a consideration of the countless hours of time and talent from our team.
On launch day, it became apparent through feedback from you- the players- that your expectations were set at a very different place in regards to pricing.
We’re a firm believer in the iterative nature of development, an obligation that extends past launch day. As such, we have heard your feedback- and we are listening.
Virtual reality is a brand new industry with no prior reference for measurement or pricing. We’re very appreciative of the players’ feedback that helps us as developers navigate this uncharted landscape. It’s a new and limitless world- one that we’ve been so excited to share with all of you! We don’t want there to be any barrier for you to experience it- price or otherwise.
In response to the feedback we’ve gotten from the community, Final Approach will now be priced at $24.99 on the Steam Store with a launch promotion of 20% off ($19.99). Steam users who have already purchased Final Approach and wish to take advantage of the reduced price will have the opportunity to do so even if they have played past the 2 hour return limit.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the world of Final Approach- a world that we’ve spent so much time and care creating- and look forward to continuing this journey with you!

Also, take note that we are allowing for refunds on games played over the standard 2 hour limit only during the promotional period where the game is 20% off!
