Patch 6.2─Buried Memory Special Site Available
We are pleased to present the 6.2—Buried Memory special site! Get a look at the patch artwork, logo, as well as details on upcoming content including the main scenario, Island Sanctuary, the new instanced dungeon, the Fell Court of Troia, and more!

How to Participate
Begin the quest "A Matter of Course" by speaking to the Mayaro Moyaru in Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:11.5 Y:13.8).
*Players must be level 30 and above to start the quest.
Though the first phase was scheduled to take place in August 2022, the server vendor has informed us that the delivery of the equipment will be delayed due to the semiconductor shortage. We have tried to coordinate with related parties in hopes of finding a solution, but ultimately a delay proved unavoidable. As a result, it will be difficult to keep to our original schedule, and we regrettably have to postpone the first phase of the expansion to November 2022.
I sincerely apologize to those of you who have been looking forward to the first phase, which will add four Worlds under a new logical data center. We will share further schedule details as soon as they are decided, and ask for your patience in the meantime.
As for the second phase, the schedule remains unchanged, with the abovementioned new logical data center to receive an additional four Worlds around spring or summer of 2023.

Changes to Allagan Tomestones in Patch 6.2
Patch 6.2 will see several changes to Allagan tomestones, including the addition of a new type of tomestone and revisions made to previously existing ones.
These revisions will result in the removal of all Allagan tomestones of allegory and revelation. Players carrying these currencies are encouraged to exchange them for Allagan tomestones of poetics before the start of Patch 6.2 maintenance.
New Tomestone Allagan tomestones of causality will be added, which can only be obtained after reaching level 90 with at least one class or job.
Regarding Existing Tomestones
Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy The weekly obtainment cap for Allagan tomestones of astronomy will be removed. * Maximum inventory limit of 2,000 still applies.
Allagan Tomestones of Aphorism
These tomestones will no longer be obtainable.
All trials and duties that currently yield these tomestones will instead offer Allagan tomestones of astronomy or the new Allagan tomestone currency.
Players will no longer be able to exchange these tomestones for items.
Although Allagan tomestones of aphorism will not be removed in Patch 6.2, items obtained through their exchanges will be made available through other means.
These tomestones may be exchanged for Allagan tomestones of astronomy.
* Exchange tomestones by speaking to Auriana in Revenant's Toll (X:22.7 Y:6.7).
Allagan Tomestones of Allegory and Revelation With the release of Patch 6.2, all Allagan tomestones of allegory and revelation in the possession of players will be removed. * Players currently carrying Allagan tomestones of allegory and/or revelation are advised to exchange them for Allagan tomestones of poetics by speaking with Auriana in Revenant's Toll (X:22.7 Y:6.7) prior to the scheduled maintenance for Patch 6.2.
Allagan Tomestones of Poetics Allagan tomestones of poetics will be obtainable from trials and duties up to level 80, as well as the Duty Roulette.
Moogle Treasure Trove – The Hunt for Verity Commences July 25!

Patch 6.11a Notes
The notes for Patch 6.11a are now available and include details on adjustments to PvP actions and several resolved issues.
Additional features will be implemented in future updates:

With the release of Patch 6.11 and Dragonsong’s Reprise (Ultimate), we’ve heard concerns from players about the use of third-party tools and the potential for game server emulation. I’ve touched on these topics previously in LIVE Letters, but I would like to take this opportunity to formally address them.
Please note this will be a lengthy post containing difficult technical terminology, and may not be of interest to the average player. Moreover, this announcement is meant to be read in its entirety, so I ask that you please refrain from sharing excerpts of this text out of context.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the patch notes for Patch 6.11 are live. Be sure to check them out for a comprehensive list of additions and refinements to the game, including the fourth ultimate duty, Dragonsong's Reprise.
Additional features will be implemented in future updates:
New custom deliveries, Arkasodara tribal quests, and Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures are scheduled to be released in Patch 6.15.
The Data Center Travel system is scheduled to be implemented in Patch 6.18.
